After all the Julia craziness, I was stoked to get out of town again. The 4^th Dew Tour competition was that week in Portland, and I was totally ready. After winning the first three, I was on track to achieve my goal of sweeping all five and win the tour with a perfect season. I know I’m expecting a lot from myself, but that’s what I have to do if I want to be the best. After X-games I decided to limit my travel posse to Tony, Casey and Taylor. A cool perk of my job is having sponsorships. Right now I’m sponsored by Red Bull, Volcom, Oakley and Plan B to name a few. The week we were shooting episode 6, I had to meet up with the Nixon reps, so they could take a bunch of new photos for their new ad campaign. When we were finished, I took a stroll through the warehouse, grabbing a ton of free Nixon shwagg for me and all of my friends.

Even though work was going great, I still hadn’t resolved all the drama that went on with Julia when I was at X-games. She was still upset about whatever Tony said to one of her friends. Not to get all deep or anything… but my life as a whole is kind of like skating. Some days I can land a sick trick, no problem. Some days I can’t even stand on my freakin’ board. The week we were filming episode five, things started off great. I had just gotten back from winning my third Dew Tour competition, two away from my goal to sweep all five.
