On last week's clip show, we got to find out what all the kids have been up to since their episode aired. And earlier this week, T.I. took the time to personally catch up with the Road to Redemption teens in the days before/after his sentencing hearing.
So what's happened since we last saw everyone? Well, according to MTV News, Cynthia's been concentrating on school, Anthony's been making good on his dreams of becoming a chef, Trey's been trying to set a good example for his younger cousins and Pee Wee is back on his feet after sustaining a serious gunshot injury not long after his episode aired.
Of course, in real life, there isn't always a happy ending. In the last couple of days, T.I. revealed that Mario (the AK-47 toting teen from Episode
was recently arrested on attempted murder charges. But if we've learned anything from watching Road to Redemption this season, it's that everyone has the capacity to change.
Just ask T.I.

We've seen so many heartwarming stories on Road to Redemption that we can't help but feel personally invested in the lives of each teen Tip's had the opportunity to inspire. And while one teenager (Pee Wee, from Episode 1) has already slipped back into his old habits, we're still confident that all seven of these amazing kids have the potential to change their lives for the better.

Anthony's life hasn't been easy, but after his wake-up call from T.I., the 18 year-old (former) Crip decided to put his gangbanging days behind him -- and pursue a career as a chef. And while we like to think ALL the teens Tip touched will keep heading in the right direction, we're feeling especially good about this dad-to-be's odds. Here's a few reasons why:
1. He's got the Tip seal of approval. Food on tv usually looks less than appetizing, but even we wanted a piece of what Anthony was serving up! No surprise that T.I. (best reference ever??) turned around and complimented him on a job very well done.
2. He's already on his way. Anthony doesn't just have an idea of what he wants to do -- he already has his foot in the door. After teaming up with Tip, dude landed a job working as a sous-chef at one of L.A.'s top restaurants. Definitely a (big) step in the right direction.
3. He's not just doing it for himself. These days, Anthony's thinking for three, which means he's got triple the incentive to stay the course. Going forward, it's all about priorities. And with Anthony's girlfriend and son (or daughter!) cheering him on, he'll have all the motivation he needs.

Congratulations to Anthony, for giving up a life of crime (and possibly imprisonment) for a much more promising career as a master chef. Now that he's had a little talking-to from T.I., we think this kid's got the talent, drive and personality to really get things cookin'.
After he's done learning the ropes as sous-chef, we wouldn't be surprised to see Anthony make his way onto the Food Network! (Fact: not only does he have TONS of interesting life experiences to relate, but his voice is WAY less annoying than Rachael Ray's.)

Although T.I. made a major breakthrough with Pee Wee and Trey, it looks like he'll have his work cut out for him with Anthony. Check out these scenes from next week's Road to Redemption and watch as Tip tries to knock some sense into a stubborn teen gangbanger by scaring the crap out of him showing him the error of his ways.
