Watching theReal World/Road Rules Challenges is like eating potato chips — once you start, you can’t stop. And since Wednesdays (at 10pm) always seem so far away, we’ll be sifting through the Challenge Dailies every weekday afternoon to give you your daily dose of The Ruins. You’re welcome.
Getting sick on The Ruins isn't exactly ideal. There's no one to bring you chicken soup or tea with honey, no one to fluff your pillows and no one to hand you the remote control (or the latest issue of NewsweekCosmopolitan) and say "Now, you just concentrate on getting better." Nope, if you get the flu in Thailand, you're officially up shiz creek. Unless, of course, you happen to like being waited on by Nurse Kenny, Johnny the (Dis)Orderly and a room full of drunken idiots. Get a glimpse of Evan's hands-on medical "treatment" and keep your fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. Looks like this patient's gonna need it...
When Johanna volunteered to go into The Ruins this week, we took it as a sign that she was finally ready to prove herself. But instead of buckling down (and showing everyone why she deserved to stay), Joey waved the white flag of surrender, said "See ya" to her team and walked away with a smile so big you'd have thought she just won the lottery! So what'd the rest of her team think about Johanna's early exit? Apparently, the jury's still split. First, hear Susie explain why Joey should've stuck it out til the end ("she would've made it!"), then watch Johnny come to his pal's defense by explaining how this game made everyone bananas.
November's a big month for everyone here at MTV.com. Not only does it come with the promise of over-sweetened pumpkin lattes and endless leftover turkey sandwiches/salad/soup/satay/etc., a new tradition's been put into the mix by our friends over at Movember.com: moustache-growing!
That's right, during this entire month, dudes across the U.S. are sporting all sortsa sexy 'staches to help raise awareness of prostate and testicular cancer. And because we can't resist a man with even the slightest bit of stubble, Remote Control has teamed up with some of your favorite MTV reality stars to get the word out!
Check out these pix of Evan and Johnny Bananas going full-on mo at our Ruins Replay shoot last week (yes, that IS mascara the boys are applying to their skimpy staches in order to achieve a manlier effect), plus head to Movember.com to start your own team!
While cute, cuddly Cohutta tried to work his Southern charms on Susie, Challenge newbie Sarah found herself wondering what it'd be like to get a little better acquainted with the Italian Stallion, Kenny Santucci. So she did what any girl in love (lust, boredom, whatever you wanna call it) would do: started following him around The Ruins 'til people called her a "stage five clinger."
Okay, fine, so subtlety's not the girl's strong point -- but did Sarah's stalkerish behavior end up getting her the guy? Hear her speak about her lurking ways, plus find out whether those private "drawing" sessions with the Ken Doll ever got sketchy!
+ Bonus: Wanna know how Sarah went from starstruck newbie to an honorary member of the Champions' team? Hear Evan, Susie and Johnny discuss how Sarah's positive 'tude (and knack for making sandwiches) helped earn her a seat at the cool kids' table.
Brad came down pretty hard on Casey this week, but he's not the only one who thinks she's single-handedly sabotaging his team. According to Evan, Casey was like a dream wrapped in a miracle, and Johnny Bananas (who compared her to the best closer in baseball) seems to think she's a shoo-in for Ruins MVP.
Hear the Champs explain why they couldn't have dug Casey more if she was their own flesh-and-blood love child, then check out (an understandably still-frustrated) Sarah try and describe what it was like watching Smokey McGee giggle her way to last place every single week.
+ Want more Ruins Replay? Find out whether Cohutta and Susie's first kiss was also their last, plus hear Sarah 'fess up to having a MAJOR crush on Kenny.
When Johnny Bananas exploded at Evan on The Ruins this week, he accused the Champs' leader of not fighting fair. Natch, we could say the same thing about Bananas (who threw Syrus to the wolves to save his own hide), but still, we gotta admit: the man has a point.
So how badly did Evan and Kenny bend the rules? The boys swung by our studio to defend their shady reps -- and 'splain how they tried to keep things kosher between the Ruins guys. Hear what the wheelin' and dealin' pair had to say for themselves, then sound off in the comments and tell us whether you (still) think they're just a coupla scumbugs.
You're not the only ones watching Johnny Bananas at home and shaking your heads. Last night, Bananas' bad behavior on The Ruins (he tarred-and-feathered Derrick AND threw Syrus under the bus!) prompted the gals from Real World: Cancun to enter into a live Twitter debate! Check out what Emilee, Ayiiia and Jasmine had to say about Johnny's stunt, plus hear why Em wants everyone on both teams to STFU about being forced to compete.
As evidenced by tonight's episode of The Ruins, KellyAnne's a lot more fun to be around when her "change"-demanding, challenge-throwing maybe-boyfriend isn't hanging around. What, you didn't notice KA's happy face, calm demeanor and sharp wit? (Just kiddin' about the last one.) Well, Johanna, Kenny, Evan and Ibis were totally taken aback by the formerly needy Wes-magnet's chilled 'tude and ability to adapt in Casa de Ruins once the grinch was sent packing. Check it out:

Barbed wire and skull-and-crossbones tattoos are soooo last season. This year, all the REAL men are walking around Thailand with hearts, rainbows and unicorns on their biceps. Watch as macho man Evan gives Brad major tat envy by showing off his newly decorated guns, plus get a sneak peek of what happens when you get Derrick and Johnny (a.k.a. Tweedledum and Tweedledumber) all riled up at Casa de Ruins.
Bonus: Wanna see more bad Ruins behavior? After the jump, check out what happens when craycray KellyAnne confuses the back porch with a private bathroom and gets reprimanded by the show's producers. D'oh!
Poor Veronica. There was a time when girls like her used to rule this game. But now the queen bee's been dethroned, and The Ruins hive is already abuzz with betrayal. Evan may have stuck his neck out for her last week (much to his team's dismay), but Episode 6 will be a whole different ball game. Watch this next-on video of V launching into an I-am-not-"disposable" tirade, while Johnny's theatrics force Kenny and Evan to choose between their friend and their (maybe not so?) all-powerful Alliance.
