Erin Lucas has repeatedly said she's not ready to settle down with one dude just yet ... so what's up with her supposed spring fling going into overtime? While girl's been raving about being single lately (she sez she's "holding true" to her "three guy" rule!), she's also been spotted everywhere with her hot, pseudo-squeeze, Patrick Cabido.
Sound confusing? Well, it is! 'Specially since she and Patrick, who made the rounds at a Hamptons mag party last weekend, always seem to be looking ridonculously cute and coupley. Note to Erin: If you happen to be secretly and madly in love with this Patrick fella, there's truly NO shame in coming out. Guy looks 10x cooler than Duncan!
How do we sum up last night's After Show in just one (hyphenated) word? Life-changing. Not only did we get to hear Whitney AND Erin sound off about Jay's nausea-inducing run-in with his ex, but we got to see more gratuitous tushy shots from Miami (Thanks, Jessi and Dan!) AND peep exclusive footage from an upcoming City ep (Spoiler: Whit and Jay are totally breaking up! Maybe!).
First up: Whit evaluates her boyfriend's trustworthiness (or lack therof) and admits his accent is totes incomprehensible! Hey, good thing she's "not looking for the man of her dreams" right now ...
Bonus: Hear Erin weigh in on Duncan, Adam face-sucking and the whole Jay sitch -- plus get a sneak peek of Whit/Jay's dramatic maybe-breakup after the jump!

We've been wanting to see Erin on the prowl ever since she first admitted to being a three-man woman. And after watching the majorly tense confrontation between JR and Duncan, which culminated in Duncan stroking his beard and running away, it looked like Whit's free-spirited friendzie was about to be single and fabulous once again. Only when that magical moment came, Erin was less Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City ... and more rom com spinster, Sandra Bullock. (That cliched "You have no messages" moment? Classic While You Were Sleeping Bullock!)
+ Think Erin made a mistake letting Duncan walk away, or does she need some alone time to figure out whether she's relationship-ready?

It's been a while since we've seen Erin gush over her main man, Duncan -- and next Monday, she's practically giddy over the return of her ex, JR. "We've always talked about getting back together!" Erin tells Whitney, excitedly. But will the talk lead to any (more) action? We're not sure, but we're thinking D might be interested to know that Erin and the (ahem) former love of her life are grabbing romantic candlelit dinners together ...

Elsewhere in Cityville, Whitney and Olivia are shooting each other dagger-eyes over some sort of wacky uptown/downtown skirmish. Take a peek for yourself:

First things first: Congratulations, Erin! We haven't seen anyone get hired that fast since, well, practically never, but who's counting?! Not that we're surprised. Instead of relying on your in with Allie, you took the time to (a) browse the company's website beforehand, (b) nail the interview outfit and (c) explain away your 1.5 years of post-college "soul-searching" in two impressive-sounding words: "unofficial stylist."
And what better way to celebrate your exciting new career than by throwing back tequila (what IS it with tequila and these girls?!) with your hunky ex-boyfriend, JR?!
We know how you feel about non-long distance relationships (HATE them!) but perhaps JR, (who, incidentally, looks like a more attractive vershe of Michael Phelps), could help you get over that little commitment hurdle ...
+ Does Erin's ex showing up means she and Duncan are headed for Splitsville? Let us know whether you guys think Erin's run-in with her JR will change her views on local love connections ... and/or change her mind about Duncan.

Don't get us wrong, Erin Lucas seems like a sweet girl. She let her old pal Whitney crash on her couch, agreed to accompany Whit to Olivia's hoity toity dinner party in the (presumed) absence of Jay and has been an all-around great friend -- the kind who asks about your work/social/personal life before launching into a diatribe about herself -- ever since we first laid eyes on her in Ep. 1.
The only problem? It seems like she's not exactly a pro when it comes to successful relationships. Let's face the facts:

1) The girl has only ever had long-distance relationships.
2) Her idea of a perfect boyfriend is dating three guys at once.
3) Her main advice to Whit? Play the field! And last, but certainly not least:
Just one week after exchanging I-love-you's with Duncan, Erin was ready to put him on the first plane outta her life.

Um, yeah. We're all for being single and fabulous (Sex and The City style!), but it almost looks as though Erin's less about casual dating -- and more about keeping her boyfriends at arm's length. (Or in her case, across the country!)
+ But what say you? Think Erin's qualified to be Whit's go-to relationship guru? Or is her advice (i.e. "Use this time to be selfish") more in keeping with her own attitude towards guys/dating than it is to Whitney's?
