Vinny saw 2012's first few seconds with a bookend of chicks at Joonbug.com's New Year's Bash in NYC.

While you spent NYE hanging out with your best pals and making resolutions you've probably already forgotten, MTV stars were doing...essentially the same thing. Well, with the exception of Tyler Posey, who had the unnerving task of ringing in 2012 for all of the network's viewers LIVE in Times Square. (Nice job, BTW, Ty!)

Lauren Conrad (with a Steph Pratt guest appearance) and Snooki took Vegas by storm; "Challenge" vet Coral used her new Twitter account to announce that she was perfectly content playing games with her little cousin; Scrillz of "Real World: San Diego" spent some QT with on-again/off-again bf, Dylan; and Vinny Guadagnino chummed it up with a pair of possible DTFs--one of whom couldn't keep her underwears undercover--in NYC's midtown. And with the world going nuts around her, Jenna Hamilton's "Awkward" mom, Nikki Deloach, took a moment to soak in the beauty of a fresh start at a SoCal beach.

With a smile, a wave and oblivion to oncoming traffic, former "Hills" sidekick Stephanie Pratt strode down Madison Avenue yesterday as if it were her very own miserably humid Rodeo Drive (can we get a quick cold front over here, Manhattan?).

While Whitney Port and Kristin Cavallari have recently taken to the beaches and runways of Florida, respectively, Steph hit the streets of NYC with two earfuls of her favorite tunes and a happy-go-lucky energy. We knew we always liked this girl.

Hey Steph, if you happen to find yourself near the office, don't be a stranger...as long as you have an armful of freeze pops.

It's been a while since we checked out Stephanie Pratt's fashions (we've admittedly been all about Heidi Montag 3.0.1 and Audrina Patridge's new reality show lately), but at last week's Coca-Cola's 125th anniversary party in Los Angeles, Steph totally hit a style home run! Wearing a sheer white lace dress with Rebecca Minkoff blazer and mega-high floral Steve Madden wedges, she nailed her red carpet moment.

OK, so obviously Kristin Cavallari won't be inviting ole "Laguna Beach" rival Lauren Conrad to her upcoming nuptials, but we admit that we were a bit taken aback to hear from E! Online that she WILL be inviting former "Hills" costar (and über-nemesis) Audrina Patridge, as well as (less über of a nemesis but still a nemesis) Stephanie Pratt. Wow, it's almost as if those catfights between them weren't real....

One thing that was never fake for K-Cav was her relationship with Stephen Colletti--they're actually still great friends! So is her fiancé cool with inviting her first love to the wedding? Yep, he gets a VIP pass, presumably with a plus one (it's not like Stephen never moved on to other blonde beauties!).

Now for the really gossipy part (cause you know y'all were wonderin'). Kristin will NOT--we repeat, will NOT--be inviting Brody Jenner, Justin Bobby and Heidi Montag to the big event. In fact, it sounds like you couldn't pay her a boatload of money per episode to even be friends with them again.

Too bad--we were kinda hoping for a "Does anyone object to this union?" type moment at the chapel. But then again, what's the point if she's not inviting reality TV camera crews? For the record, there won't be any of those either. "Jay hates all that stuff," she told Ryan Seacrest, who of course pitched her a wedding special this morning. (No, nothing is sacred anymore, if that's what you were asking yourself. And that's why you watch cable.)

We don't know whether or not sisters-in-law Heidi Montag and Stephanie Pratt have mended their family wounds, but they're certainly going head-to-head in the fashion department! At an event for VH1's new reality series, "Famous Food," our new favorite ex-Hillzie (that'd be Heids) posed on the carpet in shredded jeans with a fitted T-shirt and structured black blazer. About a month earlier, Steph had worn a similar ripped denim look at the "Born To Be Wild 3D" premiere in Los Angeles, also pairing it with a black blazer, as well as a loose V-neck and lace-up booties.

Last week, Stephanie Pratt and Kristin Cavallari got a chance to catch up at a Kiehl's skincare event in Los Angeles. They chatted like old pals, then posed for photogs in similar jewel-toned outfits (former "Hills" costars definitely have a tendency to dress like one another!).

Steph looked radiant in a turquoise Boulee jumpsuit, which she accessorized with nude Yves Saint Laurent heels and a cream Rebecca Minkoff bag, and K-Cav also shined bright in a tangerine silk blouse and drapy gray shorts.

Now that Stephanie Pratt's made her grand return to the red carpet, she's not holding anything back in the wardrobe department. At the Genesis Awards in Los Angeles, the former "Hills" starlet wore a show-stopping glittery pink Marc Bauer ballgown that was fit for a princess (or Barbie). The floor-length dress was definitely one of the more girly things we've seen her don, though she kept her accessories simple.
