You know you had a bumpy season when the "Greatest Hits" reel includes shot after shot of you guys getting ready to throw down. But according to Day26, it wasn't ALL about throwing chairs and calling each other names (like "Aubrey"). Despite all the drama, these guys still managed to make a few happy memories, (including that one above, with Shannon!) After all was said and done, hear what had Willie smiling, Robert bragging and Que sighing with relief ...

Day26 knows when not to argue with the big boss. So when Diddy said they'd be going on the cruise without Que, all they could do was pack their things, and promise Que they'd send a postcard. And while Qwanell's absence was definitely felt (remember that sad, empty seat at the dinner table??), Robert and Mike couldn't help but notice how smoothly the show went without him.

So what did everyone else think? We caught up with Day26 after the cruise and got Willie's take on the whole performing-without-Que sitch. And from the sounds of it, he's won't be sending any more "Day26 is moving on -- with or without you" text messages anytime soon ....

+ Bonus: In case you hadn't noticed, Day26 didn't always get along this season. Hear what the guys had to say about fighting on camera (awk-ward!) and how all that drama's affected them as a group.

Tonight's Making the Band had all the things we've come to expect this season -- tears, fighting, cursing, screaming and attempted assault. But after getting off to a rocky start, the show turned into something both long overdue and completely unexpected: a Day26 breakthrough.

After railing against his bandmates, Que finally opened up to them and discovered that they still have his back, no matter what went down. And while he won't be on the guys' cruise next week (Diddy slapped him with a mandatory time out) we're convinced that Que and the boys are finally back on track. After all this, looks like all Que really needed was some reassurance!

And maybe a giant bear hug from Brian, Robert and Will.

+ Think Day26 can finally put the drama behind them? Or is this just the calm before the storm? Let us know whether everyone will still be smiling after the guys' Que-free vacay is over.

We hear what Donnie was saying about how Dawn's constant presence has altered the Day26 dynamic. But from what we've seen, Que owes his woman a big thank you (and maybe some roses) for getting him, his group and his career back on track.

If Dawn hadn't been there to talk some sense into Que at the studio, dude would've slammed the door behind him and never looked back. Instead, he had a reassuring heart-to-heart with Brian, Will and Mike, while Dawn gently convinced Robert that this was all one big misunderstanding.

Come to think of it, we can't even count the number of times Dawn's calmed Que down, stopped him from storming off in frustration and encouraged him to swallow his pride. So has she changed the fellas' group dynamic? Of course. But we think she's changed it for the better.

+ Think Dawn's part of Que's problem? Or part of the solution? Tell us whether you guys think she crossed the line -- or saved the day -- by getting involved.

If we had to sum up tonight's Making the Band in four words, we would have to go with "fighting," "fighting" and "more fighting." And tonight, it seemed like everybody was against Que. Even his own mama! At least, that's how it looked at first.

After scolding his fellow Day26-er for skipping out on studio sessions (Will reminded Que that singing should be his top priority), Brian and Robert started trying to play peacemaker and Big Mike brought the whole house down with his teary/heartfelt we're-all-in-this-together speech.

Think Que's right to be on the defensive? Or is his paranoia creating a divide between himself and the rest of the group? Take our poll and let us know whether you guys think it's four against one -- or just Que versus all.

Whether it started out as three against two or not, tonight's Making the Band definitely ended up dividing Day26 into two separate -- but not equal -- sides.

There's the Will/Brian camp, who thinks Day26 should keep doing traditional R&B (and not risk alienating their fans), there's Que's theory (that the guys need to mix it up and evolve on their next album), and somewhere in the middle, there's Mike and Robert, who fully support wearing silly hats, cracking Janet Jackson jokes and trying to stay in Nonconfrontational Land.

Natch, who's right or wrong here is less important than what the argument says about the guys' ability to work together (or, um, not). But since nobody knows what Day26's fans want better than Day26's fans, we're putting this one up to a poll.
