If a leopard never loses his stripes, as Deena pointed out, then it looks like Mike's lines are holding on with a vice grip.
"The Situation" seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed and decided the "Jersey Shore" was a little too quiet for its own good lately. For reasons not totally clear, he deemed Snooki Public Enemy No. 1 and was finally ready to reenlist "The Unit" to break down Snooki's alleged infidelity to Jionni. Unfortunately, the guy was out of town, and the takedown would have to wait. In the meantime, trash-talking Deena's sister, who was dating Mike's brother, would have to sate Sitch's hunger for trouble.
While Mike, exhausted by scheming, caught some Zs, the rest of the crew got down at Aztec for the night. Snooks had a particularly eventful evening, but JWOWW was in a noticeable funk, still pissed off that Roger had been dodging her.

After Vinny and Sarah's shocking ousting from "Battle of the Exes," a traditional taste of "Challenge" antics was necessary to swallow the mounting tension. While Bananas, Emily and Diem declared water war alongside a staircase, Cara Maria struggled to break her ex (?) Abram out of his shell. The self-tattooer and veteran of the game said he had no intention of making friends with people who had proven they could throw him under the bus just as soon as they'd shoot him a smile.
Rookie Dustin, on the other hand, learned how dangerous the game can be for the very first time when he tripped up a small set of stairs and tore his knee open. Five stitches kept the bone beneath his skin from popping out, but no amount of preventive thread was enough to save his and Heather's standing in the game. Once the group arrived at a lagoon for its next mission, the kinda-sorta couple was sent packing. Judging by what was to come, though, the new kids were probably better off.

It was all fun and games on "Jersey Shore" this week--you know, before Mike decided to plot a Snooki takedown and after he accused his even-tempered housemates of hating him. But nothing can kill the mood a bunny suit generates.
After many sleepless nights and inner turmoil, Pauly D got his boyfriend back! The "J-Shore" SWAT team successfully bailed Vin out of his Staten Island compound and brought him back to his rightful home on Ocean Drive. "Sitch" told him the crew was noticeably morose without him around, and the proud owner of a new "Let Go, Let God" chest tat was happy to hear how much the crew cared about him. Vin was careful to take Mike's words with a grain of salt, though, as PD told his best friend he was starting to get suspicious of Mike's uncharacteristic kindness.
The group decided there was no better way to welcome Vin back than a solid night at Karma. But the morning-after sun shed light on the quiet chaos the eight had caused. Snooki left her mark on the dance floor (like...she peed on it as consequence of a pesky UTI), Deena had a whole new mess of hair troubles to contend with, and she and Sammi debunked Benjamin Franklin's 18th century findings on electric current. JWOWW still couldn't manage to get a hold of Roger, and wondered why her boyfriend had been MIA.

Lots more twists and turns on tonight's "Battle of the Exes"! Having come out of the inaugural Dome with an enemy in Johnny Bananas and the status of public enemy No. 1, Wes took a critical look at Mandi and decided he should get a second chance. Sarah was less invested in Vinny, who admitted to moving in with a girlfriend he didn't really like, and Jasmine took drastic measures to show Tyrie she had no romantic interest. It was bound to get physical.
Heather and Dustin were sure the show's second mission, "Hook-up," would work in their favor as they were one of few couples that still shared a mutual attraction, but Power Couple Bananas and Camila killed their chance by putting them up first against Wandi. Naturally, neither team succeeded at working in tandem to get across a series of suspended platforms with a single hook and several overhead rings. But, neither were most that followed, and Naomi and Leroy took a particularly monstrous spill, while Diem struggled to cope with CT's barking.

At the start of Episode 4, Mike nearly followed Vinny's lead and peaced out of Seaside after getting the birthday blues, and big bossman Danny told the remaining "Jersey Shore" housemates he was considering recruiting some fresh blood. To dissuade him from wrangling another employee (and roommate), Deena and Snooki put in a good, hard day's work for once, but their efforts weren't as successful at home when Vin shut down their request for his presence at Sitch and Pauly's upcoming surprise party.
Speaking of which, what would a Seaside Heights bash have been without some local strippers? JWOWW and Sammi met New Jersey's finest...talent agents...to prepare Karma's rooftop space for the big night. Sam was perturbed by the "Wizard of Ass" title one carried, but the show had to go on, and Jenni had a shift at work to be late for. Sadly, she found no solace there, either, and after noticing Danny's follow-through with his threat in the form of a Help Wanted ad, Jenni promptly tore it down and noted that any potential new roommate would get nothing from her but a "f*** off."

The deed was done. Though Pauly D and Ronnie tried to convince Vinny to stay in Seaside Heights, the "Jersey Shore" little brother was simply too anxious to stick it out and threw in the towel. Vin looked a little defeated as a cab took him home to Staten Island, but Deena seemed to take his leaving even worse, declaring "He was like my soul" after JWOWW spilled the beans at the club. D's tears flowed until dawn crept up over the rooftop porch, while Pauly, Snooki and Mike honored their fallen comrade with celebratory smushes. Different strokes...
After Jionni headed home in the morning, Nicole realized she'd been neglecting her duties as a meatball and declared it MEATBALL DAY! She and D celebrated with boardwalk body shots, an unplanned reunion with a Cortese sister and fear that Snooki would once again be arrested for public intoxication. By the end of the night (and after Deena laid her mutilated extensions to rest), the house was ready to throw down at the club. Mike and "The Unit" had plans to out Nicole for her supposed indiscretions, but the duo's attempt was thwarted by a rogue bar fight.

A few bottles downed and the perfect fist-pumping tunes leaving no conversation uninterrupted, the Jersey Shore" housemates party their underwears off at the start of Episode 2. Mike, specifically, finds luck on his side when he bumps into his old summer go-to, Paula (who Sitch kindly reminds us is the very same girl who fell down the top deck's staircase a couple years back), at the club. Unfortunately, Vinny has less success getting back into the game, and Pauly D and Ronnie pick up on his funk. The guys try to convince Vin he just needs a wild night out and a smush or two to get back into the swing of things.
After surviving a monsoon on the way home from the boardwalk, Snooki's concerned that Mike's a little too chummy with her guy, Jionni. She appreciates Mike's kindness in lending J some dry clothes and underwear (uhh...), but the guy is insistent on hand-delivering the couple some drunchies even after the bedroom door is closed (and even while DTF Paula awaits!). Snooks grows wary of Mike's potential let-the-cat-out-of-the-bag motives, but Jionni, who's just hungry, doesn't notice and continues to praise Mike for his friendliness.

Famous museums. Beautiful architecture. Limitless fresh mozzarella. Italy offers everything a cultured jet-setter could want, but as Pauly D pointed out during his final moments in the country, guidos happen to require a little more: "I cannot get my hair cut out here, I can't go tanning out here and the gym sucks." His toilet bowl complexion confirmed it, so after weeks in the homeland, the "Jersey Shore" cast was ready to return to their true homeland, Seaside Heights. One last high-kick from the Sitch and they were off!
Familiar sights and sounds welcomed back the eight housemates, who were quickly challenged with keeping Mike and his habitual troublemaking out of each of their rooms. Ultimately, the group decided to stay in the same beds they'd slept in the summer before (Snooks had peed in hers as a means to mark it, after all) and Sam and Ron were forced to cozy up again with the guy who incited the cement wall freakout only weeks prior.

After most of the house left Mike to his own devices during one of the oddest "Jersey Shore" club fights yet, "The Situation" stumbled home and found himself someplace similar to where he'd been all night: alone. Soon after, Ron tried to talk some sense into Mike, but his words fell on deaf ears. The big guy gave his friend an ultimatum to restore the bridges he'd burned, or hit the road. Mike said he wasn't interested in any type of amends.
The idea that the duration of Sam's "Shore" tenure could be sans Sitch was music to her ears, but a final shift at the pizza place drove the point home that her days in the motherland were numbered, and she had to enjoy them. She, Pauly and Vinny all bid Marco adieu as they flipped their final pies and ignored a flurry of customers' orders while shouting "good night" over a megaphone.
Vin's first round of goodbyes didn't seem real until the finality of the trip hit him at a street festival on the way home, at which he gushed sentiment and pride for Italy. Ron and Sam celebrated by rushing to the Smush room for one final get-down. But even over moans in the next room, Snooki could hear Mike tell a friend over the phone that he had no intention of rejoining the cast in Seaside. Ku-whaaa? The house had its sights set on a solid night out, though, so any confrontation would have to wait.

There were "Meatball Problems" abound for the "Jersey Shore" girls at the start of Episode 11. Snionni's saga reared its ugly head in the form of a post-infidelity phone call and subsequent sorta-breakup between Snooki and Jionni. For the other meatball, it meant a fantasy of getting down with Pauly D remained unrealized. Deena dreamed of the day she could get it in with her crush, but after several rejected advances at the club, she cut her losses and spent the next day drinking with Snooks.
After a few high balls, the girls returned to the house and joined their housemates in readying themselves for their last Saturday night in Florence. There was some hair spray here, some spray tan there and some cleaning out of Pauly's clippers, courtesy of Mike's toothbrush.
