Last year, Quest Crew, delivered one of the most memorable performances in ABDC history during the Last Chance Challenge. It can even be argued that their cinematic, piano-inspired routine helped propel them to victory over the Beat Freaks, who -- up until the next-to-last episode -- were heavily favored to win. So how important is this week's competition for We Are Heroes?

"For America and ABDC, it's about putting on a show and entertaining," WAH's Riquel Olander told us shortly before taping. "We decided to go out there tonight and do us, but do us in a way that is still going to entertain. We know people in both top two crews from last season and we've had the chance to ask what they would -- and wouldn't -- do differently, so we're going to take their advice to heart."

That said, it's been a tough week for everyone so far. All the crews have been burning the midnight oil, hoping to lock in the win -- and learn two lengthy routines, although WAH still promises to deliver a killer set.

"As tired as we are and as sick as we are, we just have to follow through with a strong performance and not just give a dance show," Riquel declared.

And while the Heroes are looking to give audiences the show of their lives, they're not ready to hang up their dancing shoes just yet. "We wanna follow in Quest's footsteps," Riquel told us. "[W]e want to win the show."

It's quickly creepin' up on us. In just two weeks, a Season Four champion of ABDC will be crowned! Man, seems like just yesterday Season One's JabbaWockeeZ were blowin' us away with their awesome isolations. Still, the Jabbas had three other tough crews to top at this point in the competition, and that got us thinking ...

The current remaining crews are extremely different from one another, showing us the full spectrum of dance moves and making the competition that much more tough to judge. But are they the most talented final four from all seasons? Take the poll and tell us: Which group of dancers brought the game to its highest level?

Season 1 Final Four Crews
JabbaWockeez, Status Quo, Kaba Modern, BreakSk8

Season 2 Final Four Crews
Super Cr3w, SoReal Cru, Fanny Pak, Boogie Bots

Season 3 Final Four Crews
Quest Crew, Beat Freaks, Fly Khicks, Strikers All-Stars

Season 4 Final Four Crews
AfroBorike, Massive Monkees, Rhythm City, We Are Heroes

Remember all those jaw-dropping, "Holy Sh**!" routines we'd see each week on Seasons 1-3 of ABDC? Well, we hate to say it, but we're pretty anxious to feel some of that heat from before. It's not like there aren't a ton of talented dance crews on Season 4 -- but each of them certainly do appear to be competing on a more even playing field. Right?

We've watched a bunch of fun, energetic performances in the past few weeks, but when will it come time for us to shake our heads in disbelief and shout, "How'd they even think of that?" Question to the fans: Has the bar been set too high by superstar crews of the past, such as JabbaWockeeZ, Kaba Modern, Super Cr3w, Fanny Pak and Quest Crew? Sound off in the comments! (And if you think we're smokin' something stupid, be sure and let us know which crew's about to blow us all away!)

Before Episode 3 of ABDC began to film last night, the seven remaining crews all stood on the stage anxiously waiting to hear "We're on in 20!" (showbiz lingo for "We're going to start filming in 20 seconds."). Then, with one minute left to spare, the warm-up guy pointed out that Quest Crew, Ringmasters, Fanny Pak and recently eliminated Artistry in Motion were in the stands, to which the fans and Season 4 crews roared. Here are some other fun highlights from the evening:

- JC Chasez loses his ability to form a sentence after one crew's cat-like performance.
- Shane Sparks calls out a crew for being "boring" and another for stealing from YouTube.
- Lil Mama claims to have a yellow belt in Tae Kwon Do.
- Bottom two = Best performances of the night (or so the judges had to say!).

Quest Crew's Steve Terada was on the ABDC set recently doing more then just scoping out the Season 4 crews: he was actually taking notes! Why? Terrada's been chosen by producers to teach the remaining dancers how to properly execute this week's assigned martial art skills.

We can't think of a better man for the job than this reigning ABDC champ and 11-time Karate U.S. World Open Champion (which is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Steve's martial art career), but Steve's very aware of the steep learning curve these crews will need to overcome.

"The hardest part of learning these types of techniques in such a short time is that each martial art style has unique punching, kicking, stances and body postures," Steve told us this morning. "All of these movements are very precise so it makes it difficult to master them in a matter of days."

Well, we're pretty sure everyone's in good hands ... but we'll find out soon enough. Make sure to tune into Sunday's night all-new episode of America's Best Dance Crew at 9pm!

Over the past few weeks, we've been having some fun with Final Cut and old footage of ABDC. First we gave you (our opinion of) the Top 5 Game-Changing Moments, which we followed up with something a little lighter, ya know, for a pre-season chuckle: Top 5 Moments of Lil Mama Being ... Lil Mama. And now, just two days before showtime, we're bringing you (again, our opinion of) the Top 5 Tricks from ABDC past. Check 'em out and let us know if you agree with our picks. (Something tells us you'll have plenty to say if not!)

From the very beginning, Kaba Modern became a crew that set the bar for others that dared to follow in their giant dance steps. But they also became one of a handful of all-Asian crews in ABDC history -- such as SoReal Cru and last time's champs, Quest Crew -- to have been unfairly compared to one another. Well, this season's only all-Asian crew, Fr3sh, are hoping to distance themselves from stereotypes.

"We are an all-Asian crew and we embrace our heritage, but we want to be thought of as dancers, not Asian dancers," crew leader Adrian Causing told us this week. "There is nothing wrong with being compared to those crews, but we feel we have more to offer than what you've seen in the past ... We're going to surprise a lot of people."

Seated in opposite sections during Tuesday night's taping of ABDC were members of Quest Crew and Beat Freaks, last season's final two crews. And during the pre-show warmup, both Hok and Rino succumbed to requests for them to get into a spur-of-the-moment dance-off -- only instead of their skills being judged, it was the audience put the test this time!

Both ABDC alumni playfully tried to pump up their respective bleachers by dancing for the audience and *attempting* to have them replicate their moves. And the fun didn't stop there. Towards the end of the taping, Shorty got on stage and displayed her signature head spins, to which the boys of Quest Crew delivered mad applause.

The nine America's Best Dance Crew hopefuls hit the set today for stage blocking and dress rehearsals before tomorrow's taping of the premiere (airs Sunday at 9pm). And to my surprise, there were also some old faces in the hiz. Quest Crew's Steve Terada, who stopped by for a peek at the new crews, casually hung out in the empty stands around the stage "just being grateful I don't have to do this over again."

When asked for an update on his crew, Steve told me that the guys have been busy touring around the world since they won the show last March. They haven't had a second to breath so they're looking forward to finally putting together a new routine. "In the meantime," he said, "I've been teaching myself new tricks."

Good seeing you, man!

You've seen Quest Crew's smokin' "Sundays Are For Worship" commercial on MTV. You've checked out the 45-second extended version online. You've even flipped through behind-the-scenes pix from the set. And now, because ya kept askin' for moremoremore -- yes, we do actually read your requests -- we give you ... the 70-second super-duper-extended promo below. Welcome back to the house of the holy...
