Ashli is the new stranger in the house.

After returning from Cairns, everyone is anxious to meet their new roommate. Ashli is from Huntington Beach, California is 19-years-old and currently unattached. The very attractive new roomie strolls into the house and quickly introduces herself to everyone with a huge smile on her face. (So far so good right?) Read more...

Tonight there were two major events that need to be discussed!!

Shauvon leaves Real World Sydney

"Big shoes and Big bras to fill"

Shauvon finally makes the decision to go back to California to be with David. The final straw being when David flipped out that Shauvon was even considering going on the "business trip" to Cairns. Shauvon was pressured to make a decision and ultimately decided that she needed to be with a man who will not let her be who she wants to be or let her experience what she wants to experience. It seems like almost everyone in the house is totally understanding of Shauvon's decision, but Parisa -- in true New York City fashion -- seems to be judging her actions saying that it is "unfortunate for the quality of her relationship with Shauvon." Honestly, Parisa why don't you just say that you think it's ridiculous that she would let a man run her life!... Read more...

Dunbar Flipping Out!

Dunbar's girlfriend is coming to visit and he's stopping at nothing to get peace in the house (or should I say get a piece.) Julie, Dunbar's girlfriend, seems to be coming at a great time -- this week's assignment at Contiki is to try out a bunch of great restaurants in Sydney to recommend to clients.

Dunbar snaps again at Parisa who is in his way. A dirty kitchen can make tensions rise in any house, but add trying to impress an American girlfriend when she gets to Sydney -- all hell is breaks loose. I'm really concerned that if Dunbar keeps getting angry like this he's going to give himself a heart attack. (Boy, does he need to "relieve" the tension.)... Read more...

Real World Sydney Girl Fight

The ladies of the house have actually gone insane. They are turning against each other. Trisha is blaming Parisa for only caring about the guys. Parisa is insulted that Shauvon is giving her crap for being interested in Alex. Shauvon is getting involved for absolutely no apparent reason and then the whole thing culminated in a drunken altercation which began in ep. 10 and ended at the beginning of last week's episode. And although this was the interesting story line this week, being that Parisa just doesn't care about Trisha any more, we learned more about Shauvon and her ex-fiance... Read more...

Cohutta talks to a sandwich!

Thank goodness!! It's really starting to heat up. And, if I'm honest, for the first time this season I truly CANNOT WAIT until next weeks episode. I think I'm getting a little too excited but for this week I have to just point out the most amazing parts of the episode.
-- Drunken Argument #1: Parisa has definitely taken on the role of "Den Mother." She takes care of the drunkards, is constantly cooking for her little roomies and even thinks she's supposed to help Trisha get ready for the beach by tying her bathing-suit. One would think that this would be a fabulous characteristic to have in a roommate -- apparently Shavoun thinks otherwise... Read more...

"Next time you come in this house, you better wear a helmet."
Kelly Anne and Cohutta from RW Sydney

Cohutta and KellyAnne are starting to get A LOT closer -- first with a drunken confession of interest and then when KellyAnne finds out that her "ex"-boyfriend has been hugging and making out with a girl at a bar back home. Later Cohutta fights with some random guy at the bar who was hitting on KellyAnne. "Every girl loves it when two guys fight over her," he tells his drunken roommate and "I will ride in on a white horse to fight over you." How adorable! No other real developments with these two because tonight was all about the new love triangle....

Dunbar!

The Cheese Stands Alone

Last week Dunbar was (at least in his mind) the No. 1 pimp of the house with two hot ladies chasing after him. But by the end of tonight's episode, Dunbar found himself alone. In fact, he even is started to really "creep out" KellyAnne. I'm getting ahead of myself ... lets start from the beginning... Read more...

Real World CastTonight was all about Parisa and Dunbar and for this recap we can completely ignore that anyone else was living in the house (well maybe we’ll include KellyAnne – but we can discuss this later).

Dunbar is hot. All the girls know this and (here’s a little secret) he knows it too! He flirts with all the ladies that are interested. Of course he protects his “relationship” back home by CONSTANTLY commenting on how he cannot hook up with anyone while he’s in Australia. ENOUGH ALREADY DUNBAR!! If you are going to break up with her, break up with her. Don’t mess with these other ladies when you're not single! Read more...

rw_cast.jpgIt’s 10PM, we’re thrown back into the RW Sydney house and within seconds Trisha and the state-bound boyfriend Jarod are ova. She, of course, takes advantage of her new found freedom and waits all of 16 seconds before calling an Aussie to make plans for the evening. After a few minutes of just normal “living together stuff” a miracle happens … Parisa decides to act like a normal 21 year-old. Parisa gets drunk ... really drunk ... fall over drunk. And here’s the kicker: she's only had two glasses of wine! And what does the stereotypical 21 year-old drunk girl do? Hit on her brand new roommate. Cohutta gets Parisa’s attention and for a few minutes she caresses his leg while mumbling in her drunken stupor.

Out at the bar, Trisha and Alex get cozy while Shauvon pairs up with her date Ky – an Aussie she met a few nights ago. Isaac looks on with regret for the previous night’s shenanigans. After Dunbar literally carries Parisa home, fireman style, Shauvon and the sexy Australian head into the slumber room for some one on one action. Which of course, Shauvon instantly regrets, wishing that she could be truly independent after her difficult breakup.

Being so far removed from the States it can be difficult to get in touch with people and also to deal with the drama you left behind. Trisha is waiting on an email from her boyfriend while Parisa’s looking up phone numbers online. Here’s the problem: 1 computer, 2 bitchy chicks wanting to use it. Result: a ridiculous fight that ultimately ends with Trisha looking like a seriously mean person. Even the guys who usually look to stay neutral in the girl fights, tell Trisha she took it too far when she told Parisa to “get a personality.”

Next week, we can only expect more of the same drama between Parisa and Trisha. Have they really even been there long enough to hate each other this much? Lets hope for the best.

rw_cast.jpg Tears, shameless flirting, bitch fights, and bitch makeups. That's right Real World's back on!! In true MTV reality fashion, the premiere introduced us to the beautiful cast of the Real World Sydney. So after 1 hour of drama-rific reality we've learned a little about the new cast who were picked to live in the fabulous house in Sydney, Australia. As of right now the cast is labeled as follows...

"Mc-Crunchies" Trisha – the 19 year old from Fresno, California had words in multiple languages – in anything other than English being the problem – with an Aussie McDonald's employee and unfortunately could not sample the Crunchie McFlurry. She's used to having the hot girls be her bestest friends and expects nothing less from her new roommates.

"The BIG Cohutta" is in the lead for being the most lovable cast member of this season. The 23 year old from Georgia sports a thick accent, a sweet smile, rugged good looks and the most adorable relationship with his grandpaw. I'm anxious to see what could make the level-headed Cohutta so angry he throws and breaks a glass.
