At the end of the Starmaker journey, it came down to two very talented singers ... and as with most competitions, only one person could win. Of course, Todd was disappointed when he wasn't picked, but that hasn't made him any less grateful for the experience of being on the show. Check out his update below...

Well … I had a good run. I wanted to win, and didn't -- but staying to the end allowed me to gain a great deal of knowledge and experience.
When I first met the cast, I knew the competition would be tough. The level of talent was exceptional, so making the Starmaker finale was a win in itself. I wish Liz the best. She is a talented performer and deserving of her success.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my fellow cast members. Despite the negatives that competition can bring out, I know we shared a lot of laughs and a camaraderie that will live on.
Thank you Rodney Jerkins and Tamara Conniff for the positive comments that helped build my confidence week after week. Thank you Pete Wentz, Nicole Scherzinger, Lady Gaga, and Kelly Rowland for taking time out of your busy schedules to give us valuable advice. Thank you Romeo Johnson and Johnny Wright for being coaches, and also for your support and counsel. Thank you Laurie Ann Gibson for bringing out a side in me that I wasn’t sure existed.
I would also like to thank MTV, Mark Burnett and Diddy for giving me an opportunity to showcase what I do.
Know that the journey does not end here. I’m very grateful for being a part of Starmaker and am excited about what comes next. The van is gassed up and ready to hit the road. Stay tuned …

We already showed ya pics of Lauren Conrad, Stephanie Pratt and Kristin Cavallari struttin' their stuff on the VMAs red carpet. So where was King Spencer during the biggest photo op of the year? At home with the wifey, natch. But don't worry -- Spence still managed to start up tons o' controversy from his couch by live-blogging the show on Twitter.
Not only did dude join the zillions of Twitterati (and, um, sitting U.S. Presidents) in slamming Kanye West for hijacking the mic, but he also dissed Green Day, poked fun at Lil Mama's surprise cameo and taunted LC about having to watch K-Cav present during the show.
So what exactly DID the royal Pratt have to say 'bout all the awards show action? After the jump, check out a few of his best one-liners. Team Taylor, y'all!

Sunday night's VMAs were filled with some stellar entertainment, from Janet Jackson's MJ tribute to Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' spine-chilling performance of "Empire State Of Mind." And, oh yeah, who can forget Lil Mama jumping on stage like a metal head at a Motley Crue concert?
We hit up the remaining three crews in rehearsals today to ask about the moments that stood out to them most. Check out what everyone had to say:
In reference to Kanye West's abrupt interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech, Massive Monkee Brysen Angeles commented, "As an artist you can't deny Kanye, but as a person ... what kind of person does that?" On the plus side, Brysen walked away from the VMAs a bigger fan of Beyonce Knowles, who later in the night stepped aside to allow Taylor her moment.
"[Lady Gaga] is too out there for me," We Are Heroes Ali Iannucci told us. "I feel like she's trying too hard." A nearby Hiroka Mcrae added, "Beyonce was my favorite! Every time they showed her, I got excited!" But Hiroka had a similar reaction as Ali to Lady Gaga -- apparently the gory performance gave her nightmares!
Finally, AfroBorike's Miguel A. Reyes Santiago only had eyes for Ms. Jackson. "Janet's performance was great. She really did an amazing job," he said in mid-rehearsal.
You Tell Us: What did you think was the most memorable moment of this year's VMAs?

In the real world, people don't always get along. And by now, it's no secret that Kristin Cavallari and Audrina Patridge mix about as well as oil and water Lady Gaga and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. And while we've still got two weeks to go before the cat-fighting comes to The Hills ('Drina's already called K-Cav "desperate and pathetic" and a "maneater"), we've got the perfect thing to help pass the time -- Audrina and Kristin's glossy new cast pics!

Check out these sultry shots from our recent Hills photo shoot and tell us which girl you think outshines the other!

Diddy and the judges didn't think they could make her a star, but Marissa's not letting their dis get the better of her. In fact, she's been doing just fine steering her own course to music fame. Check out Marissa's update below...
Wow! What an experience. I don’t have any regrets about being on P. Diddy's Starmaker, except for that I wish I'd had more time to spend with the amazing cast and crew!
Do I think the judges made a mistake by letting me go so early? There are no mistakes. I believe that when one door closes, another one opens -- and in my case, this really held true...
I’m currently writing and recording with award-winning producers Andrew Lane and Loren Israel. I’ve been able to co-write songs with Tom Higgenson from Plain White T’s and Tim Pagnotta of Sugarcult. I’ve also been blessed with the opportunity to showcase my songwriting talents for Lady Gaga and The Clique Girlz on Interscope Records, while also pursuing my acting career.
Since Starmaker, I’ve worked with The Foundation for Burns and Trauma’s Camp Courage. Camp Courage helps burn survivors through treatment and rehabilitation. A burn survivor myself, I feel that Starmaker has provided me with the opportunity to be a role model for these amazing kids! I’m donating 100 percent of the iTunes proceeds from my song “Follow Your Dreams” to the camp. Visit my website to download the song!
Being a part of a talented group of singers was a learning experience I’ll never forget. I was one of the top six girls in a nationwide search and handpicked by P.Diddy and Mark Burnett. What an honor! Thank you to all the fans, friends and family that continue to support me on my journey. Like Diddy said, “Can’t nobody take my pride. Can’t nobody hold me down … Oh no, I got to keep on mooooovin!”
Big Kiss,

For some kids, winning is everything. But for Amanda, it was never really about acing her dance tryout so much as gaining the confidence she needed to be herself. And in the span of just four weeks (and 60 minutes of condensed footage), girl went from introverted band geek to outgoing mover-and-shaker. Plus, instead of giving up, she's already talking 'bout coming back for tryouts next season!
So we say, forget making the school squad (for now) and give it up for the new and self-improved Miss Amanda! Keep up the good work, lady! And, in the immortal words of guru/bisexual disco queen Lady Gaga, just DANCE!

In addition to using Twitter to post about her totally made-up pregnancy, Heidi Montag's also been tweeting about everything from her brand-new single, "Look How I'm Doin'" to the latest Hills goss. And, as it turns out, Heidi's newest song (a how-do-you-like-me-NOW ode to female empowerment/crappy ex-boyfriends) may have been inspired by real life events. Like *ahem* Spencer Pratt's's maybe-infidelity on next season's Hills.
Don't believe us? Peep this recent post by heidimontag, watch the vid for Heidi's Lady Gaga-ish new single and tell us whether you think the song is meant to be a poppy anthem for single ladies -- or a full-on threat to sucky guys!
+ Bonus: Hear which rapper(s) Heidi's been DYING to work with, plus listen to "Your Love Found Me," Heidi's OTHER new song (work it, girl!) at PerezHilton.com.

This week on ABDC the crews will compete against each other in TWO challenges: the Hip-Hop Decathlon, which will only include five dances (a Half-Decath!), and the Last Chance Challenge. For the latter, the dancers will be creating original beats to groove to during their routine.
The five songs the crews will be dancing to in the Decathlon are as follows...
"Closer" by Ne-Yo
"Love Lockdown" by Kanye West
"Poker Face" by Lady Gaga
"I'm in LA (Miami) Trick" by LMFAO
"Get Up" by 50 Cent

Not long ago, Hills star Heidi Montag made internet waves with "Fashion," a heavily remixed pop single that required her to speak in French, sing into a synthesizer and rattle off the names of beaucoup de elite designers. And while we secretly loved it (The track shot right to the top of our "Guilty Pleasures" Playlist!), not everyone agreed with Spencer Pratt's claim that it was the best song he'd heard in his lifetime.
After the single got slammed by gossip Perez Hilton, Heidi opted to leave it off her upcoming album. But that doesn't mean she was happy to learn Lady Gaga rerecorded "Fashion" ... for the Confessions of a Shopaholic soundtrack.
Predictably, Spencer prefers the original ("Heidi's a far more talented artist and her version of 'Fashion' kills Lady Gaga's," he told Life & Style), but we figured we'd do the democratic thing and put it up to a vote.
