Lauren and Audrina may have avoided going back for Round 2 on last night's Hills, but their awkward post-screamfest drinks thingy reminded us that 2008 has been The Year Of The Fight.
Thanks to the lovely folks at A Shot At Love 2, Making the Band 4 and From G's to Gents, we've seen it all, from talkin' smack (i.e. Kim's infamous "Let's not get ghetto!" moment on Real World: Hollywood) to bickering (Diddy's "I'm the chairman of Bad Boy. I don't have to call Aubrey [O'Day] to tell her anything" rant) and good old-fashioned bitchslappery (i.e. Kesan's Suckerpunch Heard 'Round The World).

This video's so badass it deserved a second post.

Yesterday we showed you what can happen when the wrong G's get near one another. The bitty whooping you see in the clip below took place backstage at the taping of tonight's raucous-filled From G's to Gents Reunion Special. The story behind the beat down, relayed to me by one of the show's producers, goes a little something like this:
G's cast members were being interviewed backstage for IAmOnMTV.com prior to the taping of the Reunion Special. Security guards were already on high alert with Kesan, since he was the guy who left the show for having a bad temper -- they had him quarantined in his own room. But when producers allowed Kesan to go out in the hall for better cell phone reception -- and consequently overheard E6 rhymin' and hatin' -- Kesan's sh*t hit E6's fan. And really hard.
Don't miss the Reunion Special tonight at 10pm EST to see how this backstage brawl played out later during the show. Plus, brush up on each episode beforehand.
I don't want to yammer on too long about the freakin' awesome shocking and very ungentlemanly violence in the video clip below -- it really does speak for itself. I will say, E6 never saw it coming (though maybe he should have?).
Low and behold, what went down backstage during the taping of tomorrow night's From G's to Gents Reunion Special:
What the hell was that? Go straight to the source and chat up E6 and Kesan at IAmOnMTV.com. If you dare...

If you'd asked me for my predictions early on this season of G's to Gents, I would've told you three names: Shaun, Kesan and T-Jones. Soft-spoken Shotta was barely even a blip on my radar screen, and Cee's early scheming (i.e. Operation Evict Kesan) raised too many red flags. Meanwhile, I thought I had Creepa pegged as an intimidating lout who relied on scare tactics and physical intimidation to get ahead -- like Machiavelli (or a gangsta version of the KGB!) Needless to say, not one of the final three even made it into my Top 5.
But as the season progressed, I started seeing a different side of all the guys. When Shotta started opening up about his family, I realized he wasn't quiet so much as sensitive and introspective. Cee stopped trying to smooth-talk his way out of everything and started speaking from the heart. And Creepa made the decision to ditch the street apparel after realizing that by holding onto remnants of his past life, he was holding himself back.
Do I think that all three guys made significant progress between the beginning and end of the season? Yes. But I'm not sure I agree with Fonzworth Bentley's decision to award Creepa first prize.

We've had seven chapter meetings, several surprise eliminations and more than a few second chances on this season's G's to Gents. And now, with only five gentlemen remaining, it's time to break it down and find out who's got what it takes to be the last gent standing.
First up: Creepa
What He Brings: Sunglasses at night, fifth grade bully mentality
Strength: Knows how to work the intimidation factor
Weakness: Art history, Napoleon complex
Unsolicited Advice: Ditch the shades and the thug mentality, adopt a less-threatening nickname
Next up: Cee
What He Brings: An inordinate amount of hair gel, used car salesmen mentality
Strength: Knows how to talk
Weakness: Doesn't know when to shut up
Unsolicited Advice: Stop lying, stop crying, start trying
Next up: Shotta
What He Brings: Cornrows, silent-but-deadly mentality
Greatest Strength: Quiet self-confidence
Greatest Weakness: Tardiness, Kesan-a-phobia
Unsolicited Advice: Be more assertive. Like Creepa, only without the scary!
Next up: E6
What He Brings: Unusual diction, G-check mentality
Strength: Not afraid of confrontation
Weakness: Moderate homophobia, prone to inappropriate rapping
Unsolicited Advice: Stop worrying so much about everyone else (Hint: It's about you, not them)
Last up: T-Jones
What He Brings: Polo shirts, belly laughs, Jolly fat guy mentality
Strength: Sense of humor, earnestness
Weakness: Prone to laziness, binge-drinking, getting fired from fast food restaurants
Unsolicited Advice: Keep your head in the game. Stay focused, and you're the man to beat

I've still got mixed feelings over Shaun's exit last week, but with he and Kesan out of the running, it's officially anyone's game. And the plot thickens when the guys are tested on their table manners. (Which, evidently, entails forcing down mouthfuls of French creepy-crawlies without while trying not to retch). Meanwhile, Cee and D-Boy have it out again, with each accusing the other one of lying. We'd care, except by this point we know the truth: they're both right.
Anyhow, take a look at what's in store for the G's to Gents and then get away from the computer and head straight for a nice restaurant. (Preferably the kind where they refill your water glass without waiting for you to ask and serve anything other than snails).
Where, oh where, has our little (baby-faced) Kesan gone? Well, for starters, he caught a flight home to Atlanta, where the G's to Gents alum been focusing on his music. Check out Kesan's video update and find out how the show impacted his life (a lot!) and who he keeps in touch with from the show (besides his anger management coach!)
Then tune in tonight for another drama-filled episode of From G's to Gents where the guys get tested on their artistic sensibilities...and their attitudes towards the ladies.

I don't know about you guys, but I've been rooting for Kesan ever since the beginning. Sure, he was a little rough around the edges (plus he kept name-dropping that whole "I went to jail on assault charges" escapade) but there was something extremely earnest about the guy that made me want to root for him -- until last night's G's to Gents.
For someone who's always talking about his work ethic, Kesan certainly dropped the ball this week. Especially considering the task at hand involved "feigning" interest in a bunch of drop-dead gorgeous female celebrities! But as Fonzworth said, what ultimately did him in was his inability to control his temper. (Jeez, hasn't this kid ever seen an episode of The Real World? Everyone knows that, in MTV land, nothing spells eviction notice quite like having the majority of your roomies fearing for their lives.)
Anyhow, what do you guys think: Was Kesan really a danger to his fellow housemates? Or was he just a guy who snapped -- and said some things he shouldn't have -- after weeks of having his buttons pushed?
On the most recent G's to Gents, the guys learned how to be team players...well, sort-of. But next week, their pseudo-camaraderie gets put to the test when Fonzworth challenges them to pitch Murder Inc. prez Irv Gotti. And it looks like everyone's up to their old tricks again: Kesan struggles with anger management issues, Shaun's talking at approximately 200 WPM (Words Per Minute) and Cee's trying to act like a bigshot in the recording industry.
Think the guys can keep it together next wee? With all the "wanna-G's" (like Mikey P. and J. Boogie) already sent home, who do you all think will be next on the chopping block?

This week on From G's to Gents, Fonzworth evaluated the guys on their sportsmanship (i.e. forced them to wear dorky sweater vests while playing street ball with a bunch of "goons.") Unfortunately, once the G's got off the court, they weren't exactly team players. Cee was back to his old tricks, manipulating the easily-angered D-Boy into rallying the guys against Kesan.
Ultimately, J. Boogie got kicked out for being a "wanna-G," but there were more than enough etiquette fouls to go around. Which is why I want to know who you guys think was the worst sport?
(a) Cee, because he's a pathological liar -- and cause he was totally overacting during that whole phone meltdown scene
(b) D-Boy, because he's still all riled up about the "Yo mama" episode (Hello, that was sooo last week!)
(c) Kesan, because he's semi-responsible for all the drama in the house
(d) Stan, because there's always the possibility that he'll do an impromptu striptease
Sound off in the comments and let me know which "G" you think deserves an "F" in sportsmanship.
