Last week, we saw a sneak peek of Justine's mothering smothering side when she helped conspire to bring home the girls. And last night, she took meddling to the max, interrogating Russy about his secret crush, reminding (and re-reminding) the boys to brush their teeth and dishing on Diggy to his mentor, Pharrell. Think she's riding the boys too hard? Or just giving them some tough love? Take the poll and let us know whether Justine deserves a time out -- or another tasty treat! -- for her parenting skillz!

Rev Run and Justine are generally pretty laid back as far as parents go. But on tonight's Run's House, they were being super pushy about getting Angela and Vanessa home for a visit. Not only did Rev lure the girls back to the East Coast under (semi-false) pretenses, but he crashed their meeting and practically ordered them to be home in time for dinner! Natch, the girls forgave their pops AND agreed to spend more time at home (what can we say, they're Daddy's Girls?!). But we think this may be another sign that Rev Run and Justine need to cut the umbilical cord -- and let Angie and Vanessa do their own thing!

+ Think it's time for Rev and Justine to stop meddling in the girls' lives? Or are they just behaving like any other parents with bicoastal daughters? Take our poll and let us know whether Rev needs to give dem girls some breathing room!

Rev Run may come across as tough sometimes, but he's really a big ol' softie. 'Specially when it comes to kids and giving back to the community. Yep, turns out Rev's charitable efforts aren't limited to donating Miley's excess Elmos to Goodwill. In his spare time, he and Justine have actually been hitting the streets (in matching tracksuits!), grabbing shovels and paint brushes and building playgrounds all around their 'hood.

Check these pix of Rev and the wifey braving the rain to build a Kool-Aid & KaBOOM! playground in da Bronx last Thursday. And all it took was some elbow grease, a healthy endowment from Kraft Foods and a willingness to get their hands dirty. (Diggy, Russy, hope you guys are taking notes!)

Getting a phone call in the middle of night (and hearing your kid's in jail) generally falls under the category of Every Parent's Worst Nightmare. But when Rev Run and Justine got word of JoJo's arrest, they resisted the urge to yell, scream and rip JoJo a new you-know-what. Instead, they jumped into action, getting JoJo out of jail, filling in the rest of the fam and calmly voicing their disapproval.

And after a little time (and an earful from Uncle Russell), JoJo was ready to acknowledge the severity of his actions. By the end of the show, he'd owned up to his mistakes, wholeheartedly apologized to Rev and made things right with his younger brothers.

So could Rev have come down harder on JoJo? Maybe, but then that's not exactly his style. And we're thinking after all these years, Rev's figured out when to lay into his son, when to lay off and when to shake his head and let his disappointment speak for itself.

But we wanna know what you think: Should Rev have ripped JoJo's head off for breaking the rules (and the law)? Or was he right to give JoJo time to reflect on how his actions affected the rest of the family? Let us know whether you think Rev came down too hard, too easy or just tough enough on his boy, JoJo.

Rev Run might be a little bit overprotective of Angela and Vanessa, but no matter how many times he calls/faxes/Blackberry texts them, the girls always seem to answer.

Sure, there were a few good-natured eye rolls this week (mostly from Justine, who told her husband to "leave the girls alone") but mostly, Angie and 'Ness were happy to placate dear old dad with super-detailed emails about their West Coast adventures.

But after watching the first week of Angela and Vanessa's new family-oriented spinoff, we want to know who's the biggest 'Daddy's Girl' of all! Take our poll and let us know which of Rev. Run's doting daughters you think is the most daddy-centric.

They say that Empty Nest Syndrome is more common in mothers than fathers, but Rev Run seemed to be taking his girls' move to L.A. a lot harder than Justine during tonight's Daddy's Girls premiere.

In case you couldn't read between the bolded, neon lines, Daddy's having a hard time letting go of his not-so-little-anymore ladies, which is why he's taking any chance he can get to call/write/BBM and UPS every item in the house that reminds him of Angela and Vanessa. Next week's special delivery: their baby teeth, 5th grade report cards, old scrunchies and some pepper spray.

+What's your opinion about Rev Run's constant calling, etc.? Should he save the smothering for his children who are still at home, or is he absolutely in the right to check up on his girls so often? Take our poll and tell us: Does Daddy need to back off??
