When you think about it, Nitro Circus' Travis Pastrana and Fantasy Factory's Rob Dyrdek are a lot alike. Both boys like breaking expensive shiz, rolling with a one-girl posse and doing "Don't try this at home" type stunts as part of their daily routine. So it should probably come as no surprise when we tell you they're both up for the 2009 Jackass Award in the category of "Best Slam."
And while you'll have to wait a while to find out the official results (the boys are also up against heavy hitters like Rick Kosick and Johnny Knoxville), we can settle this right now with an informal poll. Think you know which of these guys took the biggest hit? Watch their award-nominated stunts one more time (you'll find Rob's here, midway through segment two) then cast your vote below!

If you're gonna roll with the king of Jackass-ery, ya gotta be on your toes. Cause when Johnny Knoxville gets an idea for a prank, it generally involves a camera, a silly hyena laugh and another "Sonuva! That's gonna leave a mark!" moment for Jeff Tremaine.
Watch as Johnny and comedian Eddie Barbanell create chaos at Jackassworld.com by chasing Johnny's friend-slash-muse ("Tremaine [has] singlehandedly inspired ... well over half of my pranks") with the first-ever Human Mousetrap ...

Check out the video one more time, then take our poll: Whose "Can't Hold Back" cameo stole the show?

Earlier tonight, Rob Dyrdek convinced Johnny Knoxville to skate full speed into the foam pit, laughed his ass off at every wipeout then told the Jackass/Nitro Circus creator he'd do anything under pressure. Which is why we were hella surprised when Rob allowed himself to get schooled by the Nitro gang less than ten minutes later.

If you've been watching Nitro Circus, you've already got some idea of what happens when Johnny and the boys storm the Fantasy Factory. But we're betting you missed the scene where Knoxville falls flat on his ass (instead of the foam pitt) and agrees to co-star in some dude's music video. Check out these scenes from Sunday night's all-new FF and watch as Rob plays host to Johnny Knoxville, Travis Pastrana ... and a bunch of freaks on bikes.
Earlier today, we made a list of the Best Beatdowns in MTV History, and one fight that immediately came to mind was a wrestling match between Johnny Knoxville and a grizzly bear by the name of Bam-Bam. And since talking about it made us nostalgic, we hit up Jackassworld.com and found the clip buried somewhere between Chris Pontius' bare bottom and Steve-O's Amazing Stapler Trick.
Check out this Nitro edition of Man vs. Beast, and watch as an over-cocky Knoxville comes thisclose to getting his neck snapped by Yogi's long lost brother.

As much as we like watching jerks get their faces punched in on Bully Beatdown, we've got a confession to make: it's not ALL about the karmic payback. Nope, bullies aside, everybody loves a good, old-fashioned smackdown -- and we've seen plenty of punches thrown right here on MTV.
From Que's berserker attack on last week's MTB to Spencer and Cameron's throwdown on this season's Hills, it seems like EVERY night is fight night. Below, the Top Five Best/Worst Beatdowns in MTV history.
