Sure, Brody and Kristin have been spending a lot of time together -- and, yeah, he DID tell us he and his lady were "on a break" -- but we weren't expecting to see him cozy up to his ex for at least two or three more episodes. Thankfully, we seem to have underestimated the power (and influence) of one Kristin Cavallari.

Yep, things move pretty quickly in Hills universe, and next week, K-Cav and Brody are already starting to think about becoming boyfriend-girlfriend again! But don't worry, Team Jayde-ers -- your girl's not going down without a (very public!) catfight.

Meanwhile, Audrina's finally opening up about her feelings for (the newly single) Justin Bobby, but it looks as though her hard-hearted ex might've finally moved on for good.

Nobody would ever use the word "shy" to describe Kristin Cavallari. This week, the Hillzie went toe-to-toe with Audrina Patridge, and next week, she may finally give us the Kristin-Jayde smackdown we've all been waiting for. So is she just as bold when it comes to her wardrobe? We'll put it this way: lacy/sheer tops don't exactly scream conservative. After weeks of back-and-forth bickering, Brody and Jayde's relationship took another nosedive last night on The Hills when Jayde confronted her man about his maybe-more-than-friendly interest in Kristin. So what happened after Jayde stormed out of Brody's pad in tears? Two words: relationship vacay.

Brody called into The Hills: Live After Show this week to discuss his falling out with Jayde (psst, they're now "on a break" at this point in the season) and to set the record straight about his feelings for Audrina. Check it, and give the boy props for keeping his mama outta all the drama. And for pretending not to notice how badly the audience wants Jayde outta the picture...

We felt pretty sympathetic towards Jayde when Brody reamed her out in front of all her friends -- at the surprise party SHE planned/organized/carried out for him. But this week, it wasn't nearly as obvious who was in the wrong.

Could Brody have been a little more understanding about Jayde's feelings towards Kristin? Of course. Was Jayde wrong to show up to the party unannounced and vent (to who were those girls?) about Brody? Absolutely. And while we see both sides of this story (Jayde's worried about Brody's scheming ex, Brody's feeling smothered by his jealous girlfriend), we thought we'd put it to a vote and find out who you think committed the biggest party foul.

On last night's Hills, Jayde Nicole had to sit back and watch as Brody Jenner's ex-girlfriend showered him with sex toys, sucked up to his mom, got beaned in the face by a water balloon (okay, that part was actually kinda fun) and lured him away to an after-party at Casa de Kristin. So how does she really feel about K-Cav? "I like her honesty," Jayde told the After Show's Jessi and Dan. "That's about it."

And since Little J was on such an honesty kick, she also weighed in on Kristin and Justin ("he looks a lot better now that he's not all beardy"), insisted she's not the possessive type and defended her (alleged) "vanilla" sex life with the Brodester ("[Kristin] must be doing something wrong"). Ouch! Better watch out, K-Cav -- something tells us this chick's not going down without a fight...

On tonight's Hills, we got a peek at both Brody and Justin Bobby's inner jackass. Sure, they've got winning smiles, but no one wants their man to call them a "bitch" (um, especially after throwing him a surprise party), and we can't think of many things more frustrating than when a dude simply doesn't show up as planned.

But who are we fooling? Girls can be just as relationship stoopid as guys, and if given the opportunity, we'd prolly jump either of these man-babies' bones. Which begs the question ... who to choose? Something tells us Kristin's going to have some tricky dating decisions to make soon, so we wanna know before even more boy drama erupts: Is Brody or Justin more worthy of her -- or any lady's -- love and affection? We're always so busy giving the Hills gals props for their stellar style that we (occasionally) forget all about the guys! And one dapper (but down-to-earth!) dude seriously deserving of recognition is Brody Jenner. Not only is the former Bromance-r bold, charismatic and luscious to look at, he's also the life of the party -- and living proof that you CAN stay friends with your exes. (Even famous ones like Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari.)

Accordingly, the consummate guy's guy (hello, he even dates a Playboy playmate!) got his due last night at the Hollywood Style awards when his old pal LC presented him with the trophy for Young Hollywood Style Maker. Hey, looks like K-Cav/Stacie the Bartender aren't the only ones who think the Brodester has major leading man potential!
