When we run out for a cup of coffee, we're lucky if we remember to brush our hair (or swap our flannel PJ pants for a pair of jeans) first. So we were super impressed by Lo Bosworth's ability to look casual -- but totes put together -- on her late morning coffee run. Check out these pix of the Hillzie getting her java fix in West Hollywood on Tuesday (leggings + a fitted blazer = insta-chic!) then compare it with these shots of Heidi Pratt (with her hubby!) in Bev Hills pairing some shiny red boots with her leggy look. Which ensemble would you wear?

Despite being born-again buds with Heidi Pratt -- not to mention Audrina Patridge and Kristin Cavallari -- Lo "I'll Fold Your Laundry" Bosworth decided to skip Speidi's puppy-filled soiree, therefore depriving herself of the latest Justin Bobby-related blowup (a.k.a. part two of the "Drina And K-Cav Duke It Out Over Some Guy Who Isn't Worth It" show.) So does she regret missing all the action? Meh, not really.

The sassier-than-usual Lo Bos popped up on The Hills: Live After Show last night to 'splain why she bailed on Heidi, sound off on Spencer's "loser"ish man jewelry and set the record straight about her always-mysterious relationship status. When Heidi told Spencer she wanted to have a birthday party this year (needy, needy!), all we could think was: 1) Will they invite Enzo? and 2) Where have we seen that nifty side-braid before? Well, turns out, this party was an adults-only affair -- good thing, too, given Audrina and Kristin's potty mouths -- and, after staring at Heidi's hair for a few secs, it finally hit us: that blink-and-you'll-miss-me braid is LC's trademark look!

Forget about 15 minutes. Now, Spencer and Heidi Pratt are well into their third year in the spotlight, and the Hills' newlyweds (they got hitched on the show ... twice ... after three proposals) have never looked back. Their secret? They've got the paps on speed-dial, over a million combined Twitter pals and a special talent for churning out celebrity feuds, TMI interviews and the best reality TV meltdowns we've ever seen.

So what'd the press-loving pair -- who, literally, wrote the book on fame -- do for Halloween this year? They grabbed eight plastic baby dolls and dressed up as fellow reality stars-turned-tabloid fixtures Jon and Kate Gosselin. Natch, they were (likely) going for shock factor, exposure and an easy punchline, but seeing Speidi all decked out in their Gosselin garb made us wonder: has the reality torch been passed?

Ya knew Justin Bobby was asking for trouble when he cooked Kristin Cavallari dinner and met up with his ex in the very same week. And now, with the whole gang getting together for Heidi Gosselin Pratt's birthday, Audrina Patridge will finally have her chance to confront that pathetic man-stealer (her words, not ours) head-on. Watch as JB's ex gives Kristin a piece of her mind (and a reason to question Justin's motives), while Spencer promises his wifey the b-day present of her dreams. Oh, and word to the wise: next week's Hills is rated "DD" for Double Drama.

Heidi Pratt might've set her sights on becoming the next Octomom, but right now, she's content to go around looking like Kate Gosselin (at least, from now til October 31). So what's with the Jon & Kate getups? "Halloween is supposed to be about scary costumes," Spencer Pratt told Usmagazine.com. "What's scarier than Speidi Plus Eight?"

With 'Drina and Justin hanging out behind Kristin's back, it was only a matter of time before K-Cav started scoping out other options. Unfortunately for Jayde, her wandering eyes seem to be staring straight at Brody Jenner. But is the feeling (still) mutual? Next week, Jayde gives Brody the first degree, Audrina gives Kristin the trash-talk treatment and Speidi give Holly an earful about her drinking. If buying puppies is the next best thing to making babies, then Heidi Pratt's one step closer to her dream of becoming an Octomom. Last Thursday, what began as a typical night out for the newlyweds (bowling in color coordinated his-and-hers outfits) ended up in the purchase of yet another pooch -- this time, a sandy-haired Pomeranian named Coco.

For those keeping track, that makes three doggies in the last four weeks (Speidi recently acquired two maltipoos, Dolly and Inky the Ninja), meaning the Hillzies are now officially outnumbered by their canine companions. Hmm, guess this means they'll be needing plenty of pet supplies! Anyone know where they can find a good secondhand leash? (Oh, right. Never mind!)
