Heidi and Spencer dart into a gas station on Cupid's big day.
The last time we spotted photos of the Pratt-Montag twosome they were enjoying a winter escape in Mammoth, California, where they donned bright red Santa hats and joyously frolicked around in the snow like hyperactive puppies. Smiles were abundant and their cheer was palpable, so what could have possibly happened in the last few months (besides having and apology tweet ignored by Lauren Conrad) to justify such a visible shift in, er, mood?
On Valentine's Day, Spencer and his wife Heidi Montag were spotted outside of a gas station in Malibu looking almost unrecognizable. Sure, Heidi's probably not wearing any makeup because she wasn't expecting to run into a swarm of paps outside of a fill-up station, but even so, they just look so much more (what's the word...) casual than we're used to seeing.

Speidi are caught on camera looking different than their norm.

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag seem to have turned over a new leaf since they last appeared on "The Hills." The formerly combustible duo made a habit of leaving sore and sobbing victims (and one particularly unlucky weatherman) in their wake, and squeezing an apology out of either was generally unheard of. But we saw a glimpse of amends-making in Speidi last week when both reached out to Lauren Conrad via Twitter to wish her a happy birthday--Spencer even apologized to LC for his past crimes.
Since the married couple are becoming more and more benevolent--or so it seems--we decided to string together a list of those who were previously wronged by them, and some ways in which they can try to make things right. From a bartender scorned to a family member abandoned, here are those still in need of Speidi's mea culpas.
Stacie The Bartender: The bride-to-be drew the ire of Mrs. Pratt when she got chummy with Spencer during a shift at The Dime. Heidi, who refused to believe her husband was at all responsible for the back-and-forth flirting, referred to the shot-pourer as "rude," "a homewrecker" and "a slut." We suggest a round of drinks on Heids as a means to kiss and make up, as well as the most extravagant melon-baller a bridal registry could call for.

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are all smiles in Santa hats during a weekend getaway.
There is no greater sigh of relief than that which follows collegiate final exams. So it comes as no surprise that USC student Spencer Pratt sported a smile so wide this weekend, it would have seemed impossible he was ever considered the villain of the "Hills." A glimpse at this would have made the Grinch's heart grow FOUR times its size. Tough break, Whoville.
Spence and wife Heidi Montag shared a cozy weekend at old "Laguna Beach" favorite getaway, Mammoth Mountain, this weekend, and the only thing more noticeably white than the snow-capped mountains were the pair's teeth, which didn't get a break all day. When Speidi weren't on sleigh rides of their own design or enjoying some fresh powder on skis and a snowboard, they were giving JWOWW a run for her money on a couple's snowmobile outing. Heidi hasn't looked this happy since move-in day at the Villas at Park La Brea!
+ Check out photos of Speidi in all of their Kris Kringle glory, and let us know what your hopes for the couple are this Christmas. If it's not too late, we'll certainly settle for an advanced copy of Mrs. Pratt's tell-all book.

In true ex-cheerleader fashion, Snooki is lifted to the treetop by Jionni.
Now that Snooki's as light as a feather, she's the perfect candidate to place the star glittery bow atop the Christmas tree (while clad in glittery red boots, of course). When the "Jersey Shore" cast does the holidays, they do 'em right, without a singly sparkly speck spared.
There was a point at which the way celebrities spent the yuletide was shrouded in mystery. Then, Twitter came along, and the subjects of limelight proudly posted photos of burnt gingerbread men and mismatched Blitzen slippers to the internet without hesitation. MTV's cast members are no exception.
In the photo collection below, check out Deena's new cat catching a nap beneath a bow, Whitney Port trying to out-tall the tree in New York City's Rockefeller Center and Heidi Montag declaring her favorite part of the season (the liquor). Oh, and Molly Tarlov gets an early gift--the greatest "Awkward" fan art to date.

As their relationship progressed on "Real World: San Diego" and after dinners out got stale, Zach and Ashley made the natural couple's progression--they went to a shooting range and lit up a few targets. As Zach put it, there's nothing hotter than a girl with a gun, and if Ashley's smile was any indication, she was happy to give her guy a show with firearm in hand.
The debate over whether a girl who's packing heat is hot is a polarizing one, and something MTV has seen before. Remember when Heidi Montag posed with a pistol? How about when Taylor of "My Life As Liz" went hunting, camo and all? The sight of a woman with a weapon certainly gets the point across that its holder is in control, but, you know, guns are ultimately killers (from what we understand), and there's nothing worse than a stray bullet to ruin a really good date.
+ Sound off and tell us what you think--is the idea of a chick with a readied trigger finger hot, or is the reality that she's got a collection of bullets a little too off-putting?

Spencer hams it up in the carpet in preparation of his judging duities.
The last time we saw the Pratt-Montag bookworms out partying, Heidi was--how can we say this nicely--totally s***faced (in her defense, she was celebrating her birthday in Las Vegas). Evidently, a month is about as long as she'll wait before getting publicly hammered again, because this week, she tweeted that she had the worst hangover in the world. Wonder if it had anything to do with Spencer Pratt's involvement in a nude boxing competition?
Elsewhere, the "Real World: San Diego" cast was quite active. Frank revealed that he started a blog of his own, where he's "living under the impressions of expectations and remaining unapologetically honest," and Nate, who broke down during the most recent episode, admitted to being "white boy wasted," which either means that drinking is what prompted his emotional reveal, or he was boozing with Heidi somewhere.

Heidi Montag, who spent her early 20s manning "Hills" Drama Central, tweeted today that she's writing a tell-all book, and we couldn't be more intrigued! The Colorado native got into a whole lot of sticky situations during her time on MTV's hit series, which could make for a lengthy autobiography filled with copious amounts of dirt. Here, five topics that she absolutely must cover:
The Divorce Sham
Earlier this summer, Spencer Pratt finally fessed up to the Daily Beast that his divorce with Heidi was all a big publicity stunt. It was a bittersweet moment for us, considering how much fun we had reporting on it (even though it reeked of shadiness from the start). Tell us, Heids, which one of you masterminded the plan?
What's Danielle Staub Really Like?
VH1's busty "Famous Food" star may have lost the competition, but she sure developed a unique relationship with the feisty Danielle (who actually won the whole thing!). We're dying for some behind-the-scenes info on the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" outcast.
Extensive Cosmetic Surgery
Ten procedures in one day? What exactly was the thought process behind this dramatic, overnight transformation? We want to hear more about her pre- and post-op experience, and whether or not she thinks she suffered from Body Dysmorphic Disorder.

Spencer Pratt and his wife explore campus life together.
After we posted pictures of Spencer Pratt proudly guiding his wife, Heidi Montag, through the bustling USC campus last week, we were curious as to how the former "Hills" villain would fare with his new course load. Poli Sci is a tough major, especially for someone that's been out of school for so long, but the most hated person on reality TV has apparently made quite an impression on the Trojan faculty.
Just yesterday, the first-year student excitedly tweeted a photo of what we imagine to be his first "A" as an undergrad. The professor's comments don't make a whole lot of sense--feels like there are some initial words missing--but we suppose that's not the point (he's not majoring in English, after all...this looks like it's from a Biblical Studies class). Dude earned himself high marks!
Heids, be sure to slap that on the fridge!

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt leave class at USC and share some couple's time in the quad.
Fun! Do you think he's going to be a sought-after philosopher or a nuclear engineer?
New USC student and former "Hills" villain Spencer Pratt showed his wife, Heidi Montag, the Trojan ropes on a lovely day during his first fall semester last week. The first-year Poly Sci student and the Kappa Kappa Gamma shoo-in explored the quad, caught up with some buddies from lab and raced to catch the lunch special at Rosso Oro's. What freshmen!
With the bright lights behind Speidi (or so it seems), where on campus do you think the couple will fit in? Can we expect them at the student assembly anytime soon? Perhaps they'll try their luck at some intramural soccer? With Matt Barkley's record-breaking game this weekend, a tailgate is one possibility.
We're happy to see Spencer give higher education a shot. The question is: Will he need healing crystals to nail Comparative Politics?

Ex-Hillzie Heidi Montag strikes a seductive pose on the red carpet of club Vanity.
She may have lost VH1's "Famous Food" competition for not putting in enough hard work (in a bizarre twist, it was former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast member, Danielle Staub, whose blood, sweat and tears emotional instability earned a restaurant partnership with The Dolce Group), but clearly Heidi Montag is still winning--and working it REALLY hard--when she wants attention from the paparazzi.
On Friday night, the publicity hound, along with hubby Spencer Pratt, celebrated her birthday at club Vanity inside Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel. Heids, who made headlines after undergoing extensive cosmetic surgery back in 2010, shook her buoyant bootay across the dance floor and even took time to socialize with partygoers who weren't allowed safe passage through the velvet ropes of the VIP area.
