Last night's season finale of The Hills was quite the tearjerker! There were long-awaited apologies, heartfelt wedding vows and even an 'I love you' exchange between now ex-ex-bff's Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag Pratt.

Amidst all the excitement, you may have noticed some audio probs during the broadcast (oops, our bad) -- which is why MTV's re-airing the finale tonight at 10pm, immediately followed by more 'I Do' deets on The Hills Presents: Speidi's Wedding Unveiled.

Like Spencer Pratt before us, we're stuffin' our face with some humble pie, doling out our sincerest apologies and telling you to tune in tonight for more Hills fever!

We laughed, we cried. We mostly cried. The Season Five finale of The Hills delivered lots of surprises (apart from the ones we already knew about!), and we'll be the first to admit that our emotions ran amok. Below, we present the Top Five Tearjerker Moments.

No. 1: Lauren and Heidi exchange I Heart You's at the church.
It's not such a shocker for those of us who read the tabloids/MTV News that Lauren decides to show for Heidi's wedding -- but a few secs into their one-on-one time, and we're all verklempt. That's cuz Lauren takes Brody's advice, practices some restraint and tells Heidi her over-the-top "goddess/princess/amazing person" jewelry is "perfect" when gf's clearly a bit perplexed by it. Then, LC utters what Heidi's been waiting to hear since the end of Season Two: "Regardless of everything that happened, I really am happy for you," she says. "If you are happy, that's all I want."

Before the girls part, they exchange I love you's that seem almost as heartfelt as Spencer and Heidi's forthcoming I do's. (Sniff, sniff.)

Show Girl and I weren't the only ladies blogging last night's Hills finale. Dove and MTV held a contest to find one superfan with the skillz and stamina to stand all night in heels while taking notes on all the action. Below, read winner Cristin's rundown of her exciting night at the pahtee...

Hi everyone! My name is Cristin and after two months of marathon blogging I won the Dove MTV The Hills blogger contest! I was sent on a magical adventure, all the way to New York City (I live in Brooklyn BTW) to watch the live season finale event and meet the cast, YAHHH! This season was full of ups and downs, tears and jeers, lies and laughs and to see it all end with the possibility of meeting Spencer Pratt was more than a girl who is too old to be watching this could handle.

I was swept away this Monday eve to the famous Tavern on the Green in Central Park via limo (fancy right?). Once we’re inside, Christmas decorations adorn and the twinkling lights make it seem like a wonderful dream of celebrity and lavish NY living. That IS until I was forced to stand in a crowd similar to that of the late TRL for four hours in Payless high heels. Oye! Not what I thought VIP included. Oh well! A minor setback for an evening of reality TV bliss.

It's the biggest, bestest Hills finale event ever -- and we're bringing you live updates from the red carpet and inside the party all throughout the evening! Who's we? That'd be myself, Control Freak (I sometimes go by Lisa, too), and my feisty co-blogger, Show Girl (who I sometimes call Debbie ... or Squeaky Knuckles).

So check in right here on Remote Control for up-to-the-minute reports on cast arrivals (Speidi in da house! Can I get a woot woot?) and fan reactions to the most shocking episode of the season series!

HERE'S THE ACTION AS IT HAPPENS:

12:39am: From the bottom of our heartsies, thanks for reading our updates tonight and sharing in all the fun. We had a blast fo sho, but it's late and all the stars have gone home (or back to their luxe hotels for an invite-only afterparty). So g'night, g'luck and happy dreamin' of Dan Levy-slash-Justin Bobby by your bedside.

12:02am: The crowd is finally beginning to disperse -- some of them are a little rowdy after an action-packed evening of celebrity sightings, an exciting musical performance and the hug heard around the world. We need to ask one guy to please stop yelling, "Audrina's a Patridge in a pear tree!" directly into our eye.

We're feeling pretty beat as well, but as we sluggishly pack up to go, we get ourselves a second wind. Speidi are taking more pics with fans, and suddenly we realize that we never got a good look at those now infamous wedding bands. So we call out, "Spencer! Heidi! Are you wearing your rings?" Indeed they are -- but they've already switched out the Cabo gift shop temps (made of fake leather -- pleather! -- as confirmed by Heidi) for some really beautiful yet understated diamond bands. "We had to do something about those other ones," Spencer says while showing off his new bling. Check it:

11:24pm: During the final commercial break, Heidi poses for pics with fans, shakes some hands and asks how everyone's night is going. She seems sincerely grateful for all the attention.

And what's this? Spencer just admitted to sometimes being a jerkface? Amahzing night it is.

11:07pm: The Superfans are clamoring for a glimpse of Speidi! And the newly re- engaged couple is giving the people what they want. Fact: Spencer just climbed into the audience and took pics with some lucky ladies in the front row! And Heidi just bumped her head on a low-hanging snowflake while trying to pose with a fanboy. Now that's commitment!

11:00pm: Our ears are still ringing from the shrieking (the crowd was showing their love for LC), but we're 99% sure we just heard a chant of "Bromance" echo through the crowd. Meanwhile, we just spotted Speidi sneaking a quiet romantic moment out on the patio. Kissing with no cameras?? Now we KNOW they're in love!

10:45pm: During the commercial break Justin's motioning to Jessi that he can barely hear her. Maybe that has something to do with the knit hat pulled over his ears? Just sayin' ...

10:43pm: Jessi just encouraged Justin to pick up Audrina's (promise?) ring by getting down on one knee. We say: Go for it, dude! The only thing better than the first-ever Hills wedding? A double-header ...

10:40pm: Oh, the cheering when Spencer says he wants to (finally) give Heidi the wedding of her dreams! Mazel, Spence -- you now have the people behind you!

10:24pm: Did Heidi and Lauren just embrace?? The crowd's oohing and awwing says "yes." We haven't seen any tears (yet!) but we've been waiting for this hug since season 2! Four words, guys -- it's about frickin' time!

10:24pm: Dan and Jessi are serving the role of fluffers during commercial breaks, telling us we're the best-looking audience ever and requesting that we do our best hootin' and hollerin' when the cast hits the stage in mere moments.

BTW: Fans have been glued to the TV since the episode started. Nothing can shake them --  just take a look at this pic:

After incredible performances by all of the groups, including some smooth grooving by runner up Ju-Taun, Mosaic took the crown in an explosive finish for MTV's Top Pop Group. The confetti flew as everyone rushed on stage in a wave of congratulatory hugging, laughing and crying.

The only group to perform without music to back them, Mosaic initially faced an uphill battle to win America over. But the struggle seems to have made this victory all the sweeter, inspiring Sean Gerrity to yell out "A capella just became cool!" Check out Mosaic and Ju-Taun's reactions in this exclusive backstage interview:

Thursday marks the finale of Top Pop, and the tracks these groups were given to master are hotter than ever! Here's what they've got in store for you:

Jazmin: "Say It Right" by Nelly Furtado
S1: "Dangerous" by Kardinall Official
Mosaic: "Kiss Kiss" by Chris Brown
Las Caprice: "No One" by Alicia Keys
NJ5ive: "When You Look Me In The Eyes" by the Jonas Brothers
Ju-Taun: "Leavin" by Jesse McCartney

Tune in to see how your favorite group performs in the sizzling finale this Thursday, October 2 at 10pm ET!

Change of plans, people. MTV just announced it's moving the TPG series finale to October 2, 2008, 10pm ET. Tune in Thursday night to see who will be crowned MTV's Top Pop Group, and tell us now: Who will YOU be rooting for?

Omigod you guys! This coming Monday is the season finale of Legally Blonde, which means we're only three days, 85 hours and 4 minutes away from finding out which lovely and talented pink lady is the next Elle Woods. (Not that I'm counting down the seconds or anything). So, what's in store for Autumn, Bailey and Rhiannon? Well, sadly, it all starts with another elimination (remember that sneaky double-cut they teased in last week's episode??) followed by a brutal final audition where the final two girls take the stage one last time to compete for the role of their lives.

So who will go home? Who will be in the final two? And who will be the next Elle Woods? Watch this trailer for next week's episode and I guarantee you'll be even more confused than ever.
