Yesterday we caught up with Distorted X -- it had been quite a long time since we'd seen them around the joint. They had much to say about their untimely release from ABDC, but today the crew let their talent do the talking.

During the Southern region's rehearsal, someone left the on-stage doors open so all of the crews backstage could see the guys about to perform. Once the music started, everyone just got quiet, not moving an inch while SoReal Cru shared the spotlight with Distorted X. Time froze as Distorted X finally got their chance to show everyone what they're made of... and everyone unanimously agreed: "Still glad we didn't get sent home first!"

Tune in Thursday night to see these southerners perform for yourself!

Wow, can you say, "Get over it"? Ten weeks after they became the first crew to be eliminated on ABDC, Distorted X are STILL bitter. Watch the video and weep for them.

Last night's ABDC taping was an exciting finish to a rollercoaster of a season! Both SoReal and Super put it all on the table during their three dance challenges, but as you know quite well by now, only one of them can claim your final vote.

Here's what's in store for Thursday night:
While one crew came up flat during the world dance challenge, the other crew struggled with the dance craze competition. However, both crews came hard for their final dance, where they were allowed to rip it any which way they wanted. Those two routines alone are worth tuning in tomorrow. Until then, chew on these five things that went down (and will probably never make it to air):

- Before the show started, the audience stood up for Fanny Pak and chanted their name. The crew, seated alongside fans, blushed and waved back to all their supporters. (Distorted X were in the house, too!)

- Super Cr3w's Do-Knock and Brian Puspos both grabbed the mic and taught the audience how to do their original dance craze.

- While the judges reflected on their favorite moments of the season, Mario Lopez chimed in with a special one: the girls of SoReal Cru licking whipped cream. Dirty bird.

Turns out, there is such a thing as "Southern hospitality" -- and SoReal Cru has more than enough to go around. Which explains why they got up close and personal with us, admitting their devastation at seeing Distorted X (their Houston counterparts) eliminated from the show and giving us the 411 on how the group came together. Check out this vid clip to hear what the crew had to say for itself and to find out why Andrew's older brother is SoReal Cru's biggest fan.

The first victims to fall prey to America's Best Dance Crew eliminations were none other than Houston's Distorted X, best known for having "lots of heart" (but apparently, not enough chops). A tearful Jerome Hill, aka JNug, sat in disbelief for a moment in the crew's somber backstage area on Stage 23. Most of the dancers -- and even the judges -- told us that "America got it wrong." Watch video of their tearful goodbyes (after the jump).

Fanny Pak were particularly sad to see their new friends go, and admittedly bummed about being placed in the bottom two again. They did, however, deliver one of the night's most memorable performances. Can they keep the '80s alive and kicking ("Footloose," anyone?). See them bid their Dissed-orted X's a fond farewell, after the jump, then tell us: Did America really get it wrong?

Did Distorted X deserve to get dissed tonight? Lil Mama said, "heck no," and Randy Jackson concurred. We've now got our Season 2 tag line: "Expect the unexpected..."

Check out America's Best Dance Crews chillin' backstage before performance time earlier in the week. Truth be told, they were all nervous wrecks. We'll be bringing you more pre-game shots of the teams before the show premieres tonight, but in the meantime, shall we take a moment to show off our solid ABDC lineup? Let the games begin!

A.S.I.I.D. – Personality: A+. Dance skills: A. Even having one hard-of-hearing member doesn’t slow these six cool cats down a bit. In fact, Joey seems to be the beat to the crew’s heart. On stage, they are perfectly loose while not losing their togetherness. Hopefully, the crew can evolve more over time, reinventing themselves each week... because the same ole gets real ole... fast.

Boogie Bots – Young, aggressive, talented B-boys with tons of potential. Their breakin' style is boogielicious, but their choreography may need some special attention. They have a chance to break out of their shell and show that B-boys can bring it with perfect form.

Distorted X – They're not just "white girls from Houston" -- there are two guys in the group! This crew is the full-package -- sweet, cool, talented. Can’t ask for more, right? They can –- they want to win it all.

Fanny Pak – Hall and Oates would be proud if they were still alive… wait, I’m getting word that they are both still alive –- sorry, gents. Anyway, this eclectic group of dancers may be the underdog that takes the show by storm. 80’s garb aside, these guys can dance –- and even more so, they can entertain. Advice: Go buy your neon hip pouch and matching scrunchie before they run out!

Phresh Select – These guys put the ill in PhILLadelphia. No joke, they're pretty well-rounded. Problem is, they need to tighten up their routine if they want to play with the big boys. But fear not, while synchronicity may not be their thing -- dropping insane tricks is very much so.

SassX7 – Seven girls for the price of one? I’m in. SassX7 is probably the most seductive group in the bunch, but that doesn’t come at a cheap price. They’ve been ruthlessly compared to cheerleaders from the moment they danced their way onto and through the casting special. Their choreography is better than most, but as a crew they still need to get the audience behind them. I’ll be first.

Distorted? Hmm, they looked pretty well-proportioned to me at last night's ABDC taping. But don't judge this crew by their looks alone. "We're not just little white girls from Texas," shouted their team captain when we asked why America should vote for them.

After the jump, see why else you shouldn't count out this mix of XX's and XY's!
