Over the years, we've watched as Diddy worked his magic on Day26, turned Danity Kane into a super group and catapulted Donnie Klang's solo career. But with his new show, Making His Band, Diddy's shifting the focus back onto himself, spotlighting his journey as an artist -- and chronicling his search for the ultimate backup band.
And with the exception of Dawn Richard (who makes an appearance later on this season!), there's no DK (or Day26ers) anywhere to be found.
So will y'all still be watching? Take our poll and let us know whether you guys will tune in to see Diddy do his thing.

If Michael Jackson's memorial brought tears to your eyes yesterday, you certainly weren't alone. Emotions ran high throughout the ceremony (even Mariah Carey was choking back sobs!), and tons of celebs took to their Twitters to commemorate the passing of one of music's greatest superstars.
Needless to say, Michael's fellow artists were among those hit hardest by his passing. Among those grieving in the pop community? Danity Kane's Dawn Richard and Aubrey O'Day, and Day26's Willie Taylor (borrowing a few words from Tyrese Gibson). After the jump, read their final farewells and feel free to add your own in the comments!

These days, it's easier than ever to pick up a tabloid, head over to TMZ and find out anything and everything you wanna know about your favorite celebs. But somehow, Danity Kane managed to hide the behind-the-scenes drama from their fans right up until the moment the group called it quits. And now, their Making the Band brothers (a.k.a. Day26) admit that might've been a major mistake.

We know, we know, this isn't the first time we told you Dawn and Que were talking marriage. And while the couple hasn't officially made the leap from "In a Relationship" to "Engaged," Que's sounding more serious than ever about getting hitched to his dream girl.
"[O]ne day I'm gonna marry her," the Day26er recently told his hometown paper (according to Singersroom.com). "She is so real. I want everybody to accept it. I know it's hard with this industry because you got a lot of fans but, I am so in love."
And don't let Dawn's conspicuously(?) naked ring finger fool you. In just seven short months, Que's gone from murmuring vague you-never-knows to announcing he's found his future baby mama!
"I want to have kids with this girl one day," Que insists. "I know I've found the woman I want to be with for the rest of my life."
Awww, we love weddings! Here's to hoping we (or at least the MTB cameras) get to be there for the "I do"s ...

Fact: We've been nursing a crush on the guys from Day26 ever since Puff first called out their names back in 2007. (Only back then, they didn't even HAVE a name, so we just thought of them as "The Fantastic Five.") And now that we've had the chance to get to know them a lil' bit, we've learned there's a lot more to them than boyish grins and melt-in-your-mouth vocals!
'Course, knowing they're more than a bunch of pretty faces doesn't make us appreciate their hotness any less. Peep these pics of the boys (snapped by our own MTV photogs) and give it up for all their other talents, i.e. their ability to stare sexily into the camera/your soul as if to say: "You know 'Imma Put It On Her'? Yeah, I wrote that about you."
Oh, and for those of you who crave insider deets along with your mouthwatering Day26 photos? Will averages 300 words-per-minute, Que's equal parts dead serious/laugh-out-loud hilarious and Brian's a hopeless textaholic.
+ BONUS: Watch an exclusive interview with Day26 and find out five things you never knew about their new album!

Appearing on Making the Band doesn't equal instant street cred. Especially if you wanna be taken seriously as an all-male R&B group. And according to Que Mosley, Day26 has struggled with shedding their reality tv shadow since, well, Day1. Fortunately, the success of their last TWO albums has helped prove they're the real deal. But that doesn't mean everybody's ready to concede dem boys got talent.

Earlier this season, we weren't sure if Day26 would ever finish their sophomore album. Hell, we weren't sure if there would even BE a Day26. But despite the occasional (semi-frequent) thrown punch, the boys stuck it out -- and finished out the season closer than ever. Oh, and while they were at it? They also managed to put out the number two bestselling album in the country.
Yep, Miley Cyrus might've topped the Billboard charts last week, but Day26 was right behind her, selling 113,000 copies (boo-yah!) of their brand-new album, Forever In A Day. Impressive? You bet, especially considering the guys were barely even on speaking terms for half their studio sessions.
Hey, nothin' says "I survived the Making the Band curse" like hugging it out on national tv. But we're thinking lighting up the Billboard charts couldn't hurt either ...
+ Bonus: Get your happy-dance on by watching Day26 and Diddy perform "Imma Put It On Her" live, at the Making the Band 4, Season 3 finale!

You know you had a bumpy season when the "Greatest Hits" reel includes shot after shot of you guys getting ready to throw down. But according to Day26, it wasn't ALL about throwing chairs and calling each other names (like "Aubrey"). Despite all the drama, these guys still managed to make a few happy memories, (including that one above, with Shannon!) After all was said and done, hear what had Willie smiling, Robert bragging and Que sighing with relief ...
While you were all watching Danity Kane fend off questions from Sway, we were racing upstairs to the Green Room, staking out spots and getting ready to grab the girls for one last Q&A. Two seconds later, we were face to face with Ginger O'Day (spray-painted green in honor of the Boston Celtics) and her mommy, Aubrey. And with all the drama that went down, we wanted to hear her talk about some of her happier memories of DK. 'Course, we weren't expecting her bestest-ever moment to revolve around Diddy ...
Meanwhile, we wanted to hear how Dawn felt being there for Que -- and watching the boys go through what she and Danity Kane experienced. And in between admiring her new 'do (she calls it Paris "chic") and fawning over her doorknob-sized earrings, we got to hear Dawn's final post-show thoughts. And, surprise, surprise, she had nothing but love for ALL her DK sisters (more about that later!). And, of COURSE, her Day26 brothers ...
