Last year, a tiara-clad Heidi Pratt (then Montag) celebrated her 22nd birthday by sippin' on champagne, sucking face with Spencer and posing next to a gigundo frosted layer cake. But these days, Spencer's little lady's more interested in baby bottles than flutes of Cristal. And since Heidi's hubby's still not ready for the pitter-patter (pitter-pratter??) of little feet, he decided to give her the next best thing: an adorable nine-week old puppy!

"Spencer gave me the best gift ever, a maltipoo puppy that we have named Dolly," the birthday girl gushed to People.com yesterday, adding that the pooch (a white dog, with black ears) is named in honor of country star Dolly Parton.

"I'm so excited [it's] my birthday," the Hills star went on. "Thank you, God, for every moment you have given me and blessing me with my wonderful husband."

Meanwhile, Spencer -- who thanked God as well as Heidi's mom, Darlene Egelhoff, for bringing his "earth angel" into this world -- had plenty of syrupy sweet Twitter praise for his beloved.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY @HEIDIMONTAG!!!!" he wrote yesterday. "I LOVE YOU WITH EVERY CELL IN MY BODY!!!! THANK YOU GOD FOR MAKING HEIDI TODAY 23 years ago!!!"

Today isn't JUST the day Heidi Pratt's scandalicious Playboy hits newsstands across the country. It's also her hubby Spencer Pratt's 26th birthday! And since everyone loves a celebration, we decided to pay tribute by remembering some of Spencer's all-time prattiest moments. Unbelievably, we've narrowed it down to our top 10. 1. Survived his first fake-pregnancy scare.
2. Referred to LC as the "Queen bee-otch."
3. Punched Stephanie's ex-boyfriend Cameron in the face.
4. Complained that Heidi's sister Holly was interfering with his TiVo time.
5. Announced the he was too famous for I'm A Celebrity.
6. Got into a feud with Late Show host David Letterman.
7. Got into a feud with Today show weatherman Al Roker.
8. Popped the question ... three different times!
9. Made his future mother-in-law cry.
10. Finally married his bedazzling bride! In front of family, friends ... and Lauren Conrad.

Happy b-day, dude! And thanks for the memories. Hope you have fun unwrapping your present(s).

After humbly pleading with anyone who'd listen, and then being forced to spend one long, creepy night in a specially crafted insect, snake and rodent-infested dungeon, Speidi were allowed back onto NBC's I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! at the start of this week. But to our chagrin, the fickle duo were gone again by the end of the first hour -- and this time the rushed exit was out of their control: Heidi had gotten seriously ill (i.e. she was blowing chunks all over the rainforest) and needed medical attention.

We went into this Hills season finale expecting to see some fireworks ... and we're happy to say the episode TOTALLY delivered! There were botched champagne toasts, unexpected apologies and more than one surprise wedding guest. And since Lauren Conrad's last episode (ever???) merits a play-by-play, allow us to walk you (back) through all the drama leading up to Spencer and Heidi's nuptials, starting with: the bridal shower.

Although Heidi told Stephanie she'd chosen her (real-life) sis as Maid of Honor, Holly's late arrival at the shower was the first clue that she wasn't totes up to the task. But it wasn't 'til the rehearsal dinner that Holly really hit her stride, giving an awkward, boozy speech, ruining her sister's purse and yelling slurry things about Spencer's inappropriateness. During tonight's HISTORY-MAKING season finale of The Hills, Spencer Pratt stuck his pointy tail between his legs and unleashed more takesies-backsies on the people he had hurt in the past. In a humbling effort to try and convince Darlene and Brody that he's a changed man, Spence admitted to having "issues," for which he'd been receiving professional help (a few times a week!). And while The New Spencer copped to The Old Spencer's sleaziness and pinky-sweared he's all grown up now, Brody wasn't buying it. Not for a second.

Darlene was a different story. Mom wanted so badly to believe that Spencer had suddenly become her daughter's knight-in-shining-armor that she accepted his numerous apologies and offered her marriage blessing.

It's not like we don't know who won her heart for good -- Spencer and Heidi tied the knot this past weekend! -- but we wanna hear whether you think Colby should have been the guy standing at the altar. Doh!

First, where we stand: As Heidi's ma, Darlene, said earlier today, we "couldn’t imagine anyone more perfect for Heidi than Spencer." (We wish you all the best, Speidi!) Still, on tonight's episode of The Hills, Colby kinda/sorta made Spence look like the devil incarnate.

Look, a virgin missionary is a pretty tough act to follow, especially when your fiance just referred to you as Hugh Hefner, though aside from some snarky comments, we happen to think Spencer was better behaved than usual.

When Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag first hopped down the aisle in Mexico (ay, dios mio!), Darlene Egelfhoff didn't exactly welcome her unofficial son-in-law into the family with open arms. Instead, she did everything she could to denounce the marriage, calling Spencer a "manipulator," requesting a drug test (to determine Heidi's sanity!) and proclaiming their "I Do"s to be "the biggest mistake of Heidi's life."

So natch, we were pretty surprised when we saw this pic of Darlene glowing with happiness on her daughter's (third) wedding day. And even more shocked when we read that she'd actually given Spencer her blessing this time around.

Love 'em or hate 'em, ya gotta admit that Spencer and Heidi's (latest) wedding was ripped straight out of a fairytale. And between the princessy dress and the super gigundo grin on Heidi's face, we're thinking these two head-over-heels in lovebirds are headed straight for their happy ending.

We thought the makeup-ruining tearfest between Lauren and Audrina (that marked the end of The Hills, Season 3) would be hard to top. 'Course, that was before we found out the Season 4 finale would involve Speidi running off to City Hall, Lauren and Heidi hugging it out (!!!) and 'Drina and Justin (who, for some reason, is wearing overalls) trying to work through their MAJOR relationship issues.
