On last night's After Show, hosts Jessi and Dan were thrilled to interview a City cast member with a special affection for their homeland. Erin Lucas (a.k.a. Long Distance Dater) called in to talk the juicy about her relationship with Duncan (a.k.a. Hot Canadian Sausage), explain how she and Whitney first became friends, share her opinion on Olivia Palermo's social skills and reveal what kinds of sexy things happen when she thinks about sticky buns. These New Yorkers sure don't hold back...

Hey girlfriends, hey! Ya know how guys are impossible to read? How it would be so much easier to sleep at night/concentrate at work/stop crying hysterically if they just told us what they were feeling? Whitney Port was totes dealing with this type of wishy-washy 'tude and lack of relationship 'labeling' ... well, up until Monday night's episode of The City when Jay finally popped the question. Jay: "Will you be my girlfriend?" Whit: "Yes! What took you so long, a**hole?" Or something like that.
Another special treat for our City girl? She actually got to hear the sweet/honest/alarmingly possessive things he said about her to his boy Adam. That's like, a once in a lifetime episode opportunity! Watch the video below to see what Whit told After Show hosts Dan and Jessi about seeing her man step up to the plate.

I was just sitting here at my desk, counting down the minutes 'til 2009 and wondering if last year's sequined New Year's Eve number will still fit, when suddenly I was reminded of how snazzy everyone looked at the Hills finale event.
Man, what a fun night! Maybe the funnest finale ever. Personally, I think the P.D.A. had something to do with it. After all the naughty rumors, bad blood and mascara-stained tears from Season 4, it truly was a pleasant surprise to see the entire Hills cast showing each other so much love. Like, lots of it. In fact, some of them couldn't keep their hands off each other!
Exhibit A: Given their body language, there was absolutely no need for Audrina and Justin to vocalize their obvs on-again relationship status during the After Show. (A good thing, since neither of them quite excel at public speaking.)
Exhibit B: Brody and Frankie got super bromantic on the red carpet (and even dished about their secret slumber parties).
More touchy feely pics after the jump!

As you're all well aware by now, The Hills LIVE finale event happens tonight at old-school NYC establishment, Tavern on the Green. And though there are some things we need to keep a surprise, let's do a little recap of the confirmed (and unconfirmed) deets:
Confirmed: Pussycat Dolls to perform!
Unconfirmed: Justin Bobby's lips to cause major catfight by mistaking Nicole Scherzinger for Audrina Patridge.
Confirmed: Entire Hills cast to attend!
Unconfirmed: Entire Pratt family to lead audience in Electric Slide.
Confirmed: Jessi and Dan in the hizzy to host a very special one-hour episode of the After Show!
Unconfirmed: Control Freak (me) to corner Dan after the After Show and see if he'll consider being my creative muse/lover.
The festivities start tonight at 8pm ET with a Hills mini-marathon. Watch the season finale at 10pm, followed by the After Show until 11:30!

Just how long will Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Pratt's marriage last? In her interview with Us Weekly, Heidi's mom, Darlene, gave the union six months tops, but judging from the size of Heidi's post-wedding hangover, that may have been too generous an estimate. Ruh roh.
Still, there's one person left on the Hills who has high hopes ... or just a really sarcastic sense of humor. Hear what Lo had to say about Speidi's chances of remaining happily hitched in this video clip from last night's Live After Show:
+ What do you think? Is everyone being way too cynical about Speidi's so-called endless love or could they possibly make it work if the world stands back and gives them the chance?

Sure, eloping with the love of your life calls for spontaneity, but leaving your immediate family off the wedding list is bound to cause some probs ... esp. when Momma Bear makes a point of publicly objecting to the nuptials. According to Perez Hilton, Darlene Montag ain't too keen on her daughter's new last name (not to mention its original owner): "We were [all] caught off guard," she said.
Well, it's not like the lady's got a choice -- Speidi are in it for the long haul. I mean, at least until they start fighting about registry items. Kidding! (Of course Spencer can have another pinball machine!)
Seriously, we really wish these kids well. They've weathered many storms throughout the seasons and still totes honor, cherish and respect one another. Or so we've been told.
One person who is kinda sorta maybe in agreement with us? Heidi's sister, Holly. When probed for the first-time since the announcement was made this morning, she told After Show hosts Jessi & Dan that a) she found out by text message from friends (yikes!), yet b) although she's "a little bit hurt," Holly supports Heidi whatever she chooses. "She's an adult," said Holly. Well said, big sis!
Below, hear more from Holly about her family's thoughts on the nuptials -- and see what choked her up during tonight's After Show interview ...

Sure, we all watched last week as Ev sold her soul to the Devil (or at least to Johnny Bananas), bounced Paula out of the winning boat and led the guys to a smooth-sailing victory. But it's not like that's the ONLY thing that went down this season.
And since we happen to have photographic memories (and all the episodes at our fingertips) we've decided to relive the craziness by taking a look back at some of The Island's craziest moments. Starting with...#12.

#12. Hi Tonya! Bye Tonya! The hot-tempered Challenge vet quickly got into with an argyle-clad Kenny (Remember that sweater?) and was back on the boat to civilization before you could even say "Episode 2."

#11. Hey, remember how tough Dave was on Real World: Hollywood? Yeah, not so much on The Island. Witness his major meltdown (Dude, what's your malfunction??) and read his mostly nonsensical explanations for his subsequent self-removal.

#10. Awww, look! It's Robin accusing Johanna of "f---ing" her way to the top. Later, Joey would try and take back what she said about weaseling out of faceoffs but hey, that's what the rewind button is for.

Keep reading the Island's Top 12 Moments, after the jump!

Sure, Kenny, Johnny and Derek won $75K each, but we all know the REAL story is that visor-wearing vixen who came out of nowhere to take Paula's spot on the winning boat -- and row her way to victory. So how'd Ev go from challenge misfit to Island royalty? We're not sure, but we're thinking it involves some powerful combination of luck, determination and the fact that she's just much, much better than everyone else at, well, just about everything. Anywho, here's the 30-second recap of Evelyn's amahzing journey to the top.

Real World/Road Rules Challenges are like potato chips — once you start, you can’t get enough. Which is why I’ll be sifting through the ‘Challenge Dailies‘ each afternoon to make sure you’re getting your fill of the crazy castaways. (Tough job, I know, but somebody’s gotta do it!)
Sad news, folks! Since today is The Island's grand finale (Omigod, who's gonna win??) this is going to be your last-ever Challenge Daily. And we figured what better way to end than by showing you a sneak peek from tonight's mafia-sponsored final faceoff (which appears to be a "Who can hold their breath the longest underwater while holding free weights?" competition). So check out Ev, Dan, KellyAnne, and Johanna 's pre-faceoff faces (Spoiler: They're all Nervous Nellies!) and tune in tonight to see who wins the final key and, of course, the grand prize.
Oh, and if you get scared for any of the Islanders, just remember T.J.'s oh-so-comforting words of wisdom: "If you're not breathing, and you're just floating there for at least five minutes, then we'll take care of it. It's all good."

Robin's been having a tough time of it lately. Last week, she and The Danimal's relationship imploded in front of our very eyes, and now everyone on the Island is starting to wonder whether she's a liability. Check out this doubleheader to see what you didn't see in the Robimal breakup, plus find out whether Dan sticks up for her when Paula, Dunbar, Johnny and Kenny discuss whether or not to save her a seat on the boat.
