This week's been full of ups and downs. We said hello to (the still-dreamy!!) Carson Daly, goodbye to TRL and watched our fave stars from the past 10 years brave the screaming fans in Times Square one last time to send the once-beloved show out in a blaze of live music glory.

And since the MTV veejays, the fans and the performers (like Beyonce, 50 Cent, Fall Out Boy and yes, the Backstreet Boys) put on such a brave face, we've decided to celebrate the last-ever week of TRL by posting these amazing performance clips from Total Finale Live. Check em' out, plus catch our all-time fave "Top Ten" countdowns after the jump.

Oh, and feel free to dance in your seats (and/or break out the "I LOVE YOU, CARSON!" signs) one last time. It's what TRL would've wanted.

+ After the jump, catch the Top Ten Funniest Videos, and the Top Ten Times Square Moments.

It's official: Total Request Live (a.ka. TRL, a.k.a. the show that introduced us to the likes of Britney Spears, *NSYNC and blink-182 and made Times Square synonymous with Screaming Tween Girls) is O-V-E-R.

And while normally we hate teary goodbyes (we're the strong, silent type), last night was one farewell extravaganza we weren't gonna miss.

Check out these pics from Total Finale Live and relive the amazingness of seeing TRL's original veejay (and our late 90's crush) Carson Daly and Damien Fahey (our early 2000's crush) co-host the best buh-bye in TV history, featuring performances by Beyonce and Fall Out Boy and appearances by Justin Timberlake, Ludacris and Diddy.

Then head over to TRL's homepage to catch tons more behind-the-scenes footage, show highlights, live performances and a decade's worth of mushy photo booth memories. TRL 4EVA!

Total Request Live? More like Total Request Dead! As of this November, the show formerly known as TRL will only exists in our hearts, memories and online archives. And in an effort to cope, I've channeled my emotions into a heartfelt work of poetry. Presenting: An Ode to TRL (and Carson Daly)

Let's travel back in time to the year 1998
Back when Clinton was impeached, and the Yankees were great
And Tom and Nicole were still man and wife
That's the year TRL first came into my life

At first it seemed radical, even to me
An MTV show with music? How could that be??
A daily countdown of the most popular music vids
With every song, every vote, determined by kids!

Curious, I tuned in, and experienced a rush
"OMG!" thought I, "it's my first VJ crush!
Forget college apps! Forget being a Yalie!
When I grow up, I'm gonna be Mrs. Carson Daly!"
