Nikki Deloach as one-fifth of the girl group Innosense in 1999, and now, as Lacey Hamilton in "Awkward."

Think you have it bad when your mom calls you "sweetie pie" in front of your friends? Consider uncovering the archives of her short-lived late '90s career as a pop sensation. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, Nikki Deloach, a.k.a. Jenna Hamilton's mom, Lacey, was part of a midriff-baring, bubblegum-popping bona fide girl group, and, get this--Britney Spears was an original member. The "Awkward" Knick-Knackers probably aren't looking too bad right about now, eh, Jenna?

After a tenure as a Mouseketeer in "The New Mickey Mouse Club" alongside Spears, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera, Deloach forged a music career with the help of four other wide-eyed teens and twenty-somethings. The group, named Innosense, opened for *NSYNC and played a Britney concert or two, but never really caught on in the mainstream. Sadly, they disbanded in 2003.

Pauly D spins at DASH with Kim Kardashian in New York City's SoHo neighborhood.

Trust us when we say the streets of lower Manhattan were an absolute clusterf*** nightmare last night as a consequence of Fashion's Night Out, but it's nice to know that some of the designer label-sporting partygoers that flooded SoHo were there just to see Pauly D (or so we like to think). YEAHHHH, BUDDY.

The DJ, who's been busy pumping up crowds for Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj, kicked off New York Fashion Week by lending his spinning services to recently married Kim Kardashian. Fans took to the neighborhood to get a glimpse of her boutique, DASH, before Kim and her sisters arrived at the party, and their treat sweetened when the "Jersey Shore" castie showed up with his red, green and white laptop ready to jack up the volume.

We have to say, Kim's almost as tan as Pauly! Or maybe that's just a post-wedding glow?

The famed DJ, flashing his bling in New York City. It must be T-shirt time!

Even before he received an onstage lap dance from Britney Spears, Pauly D had secured an elite ranking as one of the most sought after DJs currently in the biz, and it looks as if America's royal highness, Kim Kardashian, wants her own piece of his swagger. TMZ reported over the weekend that the bodacious newlywed offered our "Jersey Shore" jokester a gig performing at her DASH clothing store in NYC for Fashion's Night Out, which just so happens to be THE biggest deal for style-ophiles during Fashion Week.

Apparently, Pauly was so flattered that he offered to do the job pro bono! That's a pretty hefty wedding present considering that he normally brings home $40,000 per event. Knowing the ladies' man, there's a clause in his contract that says Kim has to marry him in the case that her husband, Kris Humphries, is for any reason unable to fulfill his duties as the Persian goddess' love slave/baggage handler.

Pauly D is no stranger to women throwing themselves at him (here's lookin' at you, Deena!), but he sure wasn't ready for Britney Spears to straddle him on stage last night and give him a seductive lap dance. He's been touring with the pop star on her "Femme Fatale" tour, and she surprised the beloved "Jersey Shore" castie by hoisting herself around his blowout.

While he was focused on Brit Brit's sexy moves, the rest of the "Jersey Shore" cast was focused on the new episode. After watching herself take some--nay, dozens of--nasty spills, Deena took to Twitter to open up further about her CFD (chronic falling disorder), and Vinny needed a little space to vent about SamRon's bickering. It's OK, Vin, let it all out.

Just when you thought Pauly D's earthly existence couldn't possibly get any cooler, the "Jersey Shore" standout and resident DJ at Sin City's Palms Casino and Resort recently got to live out yet another one of his pre-fame fantasies: DJing for pop music icon Britney Spears!

On Friday, Brit Brit made a surprise appearance at RAIN nightclub at the Palms, performing three songs off her upcoming Femme Fatale album--"Hold It Against Me," "The Big Fat Bass" and "Till The World Ends." Off in the distance, you could just make out the glimmer of Pauly's red, white and green rhinestone-studded Macbook being put to work.

Later in the weekend, he told the Chicago Tribune all about the "amazing" experience. "It’s like a dream come true for me. I always wanted to DJ for an artist, and why not Britney now? Her new album is dance music. It’s a good match."

+ Check out these hot shots of Britney shakin' it on stage, then tell us in the comments which artist you'd like to see Pauly back up next! (Our vote's for denim-thonged Rihanna--something tells us they'd hit it off both professionally AND personally.)

When we watched Dave marry a girl he'd just met on last week's episode of "The Buried Life," we didn't have high hopes for the relationship--most Sin City weddings end in annulment (e.g., Britney Spears and Jason Alexander, Nicky Hilton and Todd Meister, Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon, etc., etc., etc.) But then again, there are those rare success stories--Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward tied the knot in a 1958 Las Vegas ceremony and the faithful couple lasted all the way until Newman's death in 2008.

That got us thinking...could it actually be possible for Dave and his blushing (yet somewhat shell-shocked) bride to follow in Newman and Woodward's footsteps? The short answer is yes, but Michelle videotaped herself so you could hear the full story of her blossoming romance with Dave. That's right, folks, four months since going to the chapel, the newlyweds are still together, and according to Michelle, way "in love."

+ Watch the clip below to hear Michelle gush about her "sexy" husband, then take our poll and tell us if you think she and Dave can beat the odds and live happily ever after!

Maybe she's feeling lonely since filing for divorce, or maybe she was just testing the waters, but when Heidi Montag tweeted yesterday that she missed Audrina Patridge and Lauren Conrad, the sentiment was not returned -- at least not publicly.

We've been told before that we're a bunch of suckers here at Remote Control, but we feel sad for Heids. She may have brought this all on herself, but the ex-Hillzie is now without friends, family and husband, and it seems as if she could use someone level-headed in her life to help her get back on track. (Remember when Mel Gibson stepped in to help Britney Spears in her time of turmoil? OK, bad example, but you get what we're saying, right?) All the designer clothes and magazine articles and H for Heidi-size breasts can't take the place of companionship. Anyone out there in Crested Butte feel like giving your ol' neighbor a call?

As was made pretty apparent on tonight's "True Life: I'm a Newlywed," love is grand, but marriage can be a real bitch. Some couples just aren't cut out for that " 'til death do us part" stuff.

We hate to single out celebs for being flaky because we civilians make stupid decisions all the time. But let's face it, calling attention to famous people for their mistakes is a great distraction from our own problems. Below, six of the shortest starry unions in recent history.

DREW BARRYMORE AND JEREMY THOMAS
Length of marriage: One month
Snarky commentary: Who's Jeremy Thomas, you ask? Apparently just another dude who got sideswiped by notorious commitment-phobe Drew Barrymore. Back in the "E.T." days she was America's sweetheart, but Drew's now well-known in Hollywood for being a complete man-eater. In fact, her later marriage to MTV's uber-weirdo Tom Green only lasted five months! Poor guy never knew what hit him.

BRITNEY SPEARS AND JASON ALEXANDER
Length of marriage: 55 hours
Snarky commentary: It's not like she made the best decision in marrying K-Fed, but at least their marriage lasted longer than a few days. In 2004, Brit Brit became living proof that what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas when she wed childhood pal Jason Alexander inside a Malibu Rum-scented chapel.

NICKY HILTON AND TODD ANDREW MEISTER
Length of marriage: Three months
Snarky commentary: We always considered Nicky the smarter less brain-deadish of the two sisters, but Paris never went to Vegas with a sorta-boyfriend and left with a legit husband. While this story finally put Nicky in the spotlight, a few months later she went back to being That Other Hilton.

LISA MARIE PRESLEY AND NICOLAS CAGE
Length of marriage: Three months
Snarky commentary: At the time, Nic Cage seemed like a much more stable choice than Michael Jackson (who was married to Lisa Marie from May 1994 to December 1995), but ultimately, marrying the daughter of your hero doesn't necessarily translate into true love. These two split in 2002 after admitting they were too "Wild at Heart."

CARMEN ELECTRA AND DENNIS RODMAN
Length of marriage: Five months
Snarky commentary: It wasn't so much a shocker that these two bold party people took their oaths in -- wait for it -- Vegas (are you starting to see why Sin City weddings get a bad rap?), nor was it a shock when Rodman tried to have the marriage annulled after only nine days. They ultimately stayed together for five months, presumably because all the press coverage was enough to keep them smiling.

PAMELA ANDERSON AND KID ROCK
Length of marriage: Four months
Snarky commentary: Four years following their broken engagement, this rocker groupie and big-booby worshiper reconnected in 2006 and held wedding celebrations across the country. But when the kegs were kicked, so was that lovin' feeling.
Bonus points: Pam married "1 Night in Paris" sex tape star Rick Salomon for a total of five months in 2007.
