PDAing pair Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt have been rubbing up on red carpets together since early February. And while we figured it was just a case of prolonged puppy love, Paris' pals insist the heiress is done with disposable dating.
"Right now, they are thinking about a summer wedding. Maybe August, in the Bahamas," a source "very close to the couple" tells E! Online. "They really care about each other, so they're kind of thinking 'why not?'"
And it's not like Paris is denying it. Although there's no ring on her finger (yet!), she DID tell E! reporters that Doug was "going to be [her] husband," and that she's "really in love and really happy."

In Touch mag claims Britney Spears has been dating the ex-boyfriend of her former gal pal, Paris Hilton! According to the tabloid, Brit and Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden have "been on a few dates" and really seem to like each other.
So how'd the two (alleged) lovebirds meet?
Reportedly, Spears manager "made some phone calls" to potential suitors (including Chace Crawford and Michael Phelps!) and Benji "ended up being the most interested."
We'd say something snarky, but we think we just vomited a little bit in our mouths. Allegedly.
UPDATE: Britney Spears' publicist, Holly Shakoor, barks back with a full denial. "The claims made by In Touch are completely false," she tells E! News. "There is not an ounce of truth to any of it."
Everyone knows the First Rule of Breakup Etiquette: If you must run into your ex unexpectedly at a red carpet event, it is absolutely ESSENTIAL that you look drop-dead gorgeous. Fortunately, Paris Hilton was appropriately dolled up (and looking 100% flawless) when she accidentally bumped into former boyfriend Benji Madden at last night's D&G opening.
And apparently, the former couple wasted no time in slinking away to a "private corner" (oooh, scandalous!) for a quick catchup sesh.

Brody Jenner's always been super-protective of Lauren Conrad. Which isn't exactly a shocker, given the two have somehow moved from casual dating to BFFs without any of the requisite weirdness that usually follows. (Paris and Benji, take note!) Sure, Paris Hilton told us she and ex-boyfriend Benji Madden planned to stay friends post-breakup. But we just figured that was celebspeak for "Duh, if I slam him in the press, what will I do when we run into each other at the next red carpet event??"
But according to P. Hilton's mom, the former couple just might be the first exes in history to successfully pull off a platonic boy-girl friendship. Take that, Harry (from When Harry Met Sally!)
They're "absolutely" pals, Kathy Hilton admitted to Usmagazine.com. "I know that they talk all the time. [Benji's] a really good guy," she added, "they both really care about each other a lot."
Wait, so basically, Paris and Benji are besties who talk "all the time," used to date and still admit to being head-over-heels in love with each other? Sounds to us like this breakup might have an early expiration date.
Regardless of what's going on in her life, Paris Hilton isn't one to mope. So after breaking the news about her split from Benji Madden, we figured it was only a matter of time before she was back to her old smiling/sulk-free self again. And sure enough, after just a few days of laying low, Paris spent her first weekend post-breakup celebrating her newfound singledom -- by strapping on her most favorite skintight numbers and heading off to the hottest parties in town.

A few days after Paris Hilton "joked" about swapping boyfriend Benji Madden for royal hottie Prince William, rumors swirled that BFF star was snuggling up to her on-again, off-again beau Stavros Niarchos again. So we can't say we were TOTALLY shocked to learn that Paris and Benji officially called it quits on Wednesday. Slightly shocking, however, Paris' subsequent claim that the breakup was mutual (i.e. 100% not cheating-related) and that she and Benji are gonna be friendsies for life...and maybe more.
"[Benji] is an incredible person, and we will always be really close," Paris told Ryan Seacrest (as reported by E! Online). "We will see what happens in the future. I am still in love with him."

When we heard Paris Hilton was looking for a new BFF, we assumed she meant "best friend forever." But after reading today's NY Daily News, we're thinking she may have just been looking to trade in her bf, Benji Madden, for a newer/older model:
"Are Paris Hilton and Stavros Niarchos back on?" Rush & Molloy want to know. "Four days after bickering with rocker boyfriend Benji Madden at a party in L.A., the heiress flew to Miami, where she cozied up to the Greek shipping heir she once hoped to marry. Yep, turns out even girls in committed relationships have their secret (or not-so-secret) celeb crushes. And Paris recently admitted that, given the opportunity, she'd date Prince William in one hot minute. That is, assuming he was (finally) free from the clutches his long-term gf, Kate Middleton.
"I'd be more than happy to date William - so long as he ditches the mousy girlfriend," Paris recently told reporters. "I couldn't believe it when I met him. He was awesome and really hot."
