While luck helped Ryan Dunn survive the dangers of his infamous "Jackass" stunts, a car accident tragically took the daredevil's life earlier this year. In remembrance of his time spent bringing gasps and laughs to his many friends and fans, MTV will air "A Tribute to Ryan Dunn" tonight at 10:30/9:30c. The special will feature Bam Margera, Margera's parents Phil and April, and Johnny Knoxville, among other close friends of Dunn, who will chronicle his rich life and share the impact he had on his crew of fellow madcaps.
"[Ryan] made us smarter, he made us funnier, he made us sweeter," a buddy observes in the trailer below, while Knoxville notes he is a better person for having known Dunn and having had the opportunity to cultivate a friendship with him. Take a peek at the video and make sure to catch the special for an up close and personal look into the brief yet full existence of a guy who never knew fear.

After learning the tragic news on Monday morning that Ryan Dunn had died in a car crash, fans and close friends flocked to Twitter to pour their hearts out and share intimate memories of the dynamic "Jackass" star. TMZ has just reported that Ryan Dunn of MTV's "Jackass" died in a car crash early this morning. The site spoke with Bam Margera's mother, who confirmed the tragic news. Dunn, who co-starred in all three of the "Jackass" feature films, was in the car with an unidentified person, who also died. The accident happened at approximately 3 a.m. on Route 322 in Pennsylvania.
We're deeply saddened to hear of Dunn's passing; MTV News will continue to update you on this story as more details come to light. In remembrance of Ryan, we're asking fans to share your favorite memories of the fearless jokester in the comments, as well as thoughtful wishes for his friends and family.

Last week, we were so excited to see Bam Margera join the Nitro Circus that we forgot dude was busy getting really, really, ridiculously old! Bam celebrated the big 3-0 on Monday, and as he moves into his third decade of life, our friends at Jackassworld.com decided to take a look back at some of the stupider funnier things he's done over the years. Oh, it's so on. Jackass alumnus and Viva La Bam star Bam Margera once reigned as king of immature pranks, parental abuse and eccentric house decoration, and while it's been eons since we've seen or heard from the crazy mo fo, the Nitro Circus crew whom he inspired is getting back in touch.
Come tonight at 10pm, the boys will head to the Land of Bam a.k.a. Amish Country, where they'll race dirt bikes through the pro-skateboarder's garden and perform some freestyle motocross on his garage roof.
