When it comes to "The Challenge," there are no trophies awarded for participation -- you've gotta claw your way to the top if you want to win, and on the upcoming season, the race to first place isn't gonna be a cake walk. Earlier this week, we released the official trailer for "Rivals II," and as soon as TJ warned that a particular elimination round was the scariest the game had ever seen, we knew this season would be packed with mayhem.

Die hard "Challenge" fans who have been eagerly awaiting the follow up to "Battle Of The Seasons" could barely contain themselves once news of "Rivals II" broke, and had a ton to say about the new crop of competitors on Remote Control and Facebook. Take a look at some comments below, and keep the conversation going!

Actress/singer/dancer Kat Graham is well on her way to becoming Hollywood royalty, but that doesn't mean the triple threat has any aversion to getting her hands dirty. During an unprecedented "Show With Vinny" interview, the "Vampire Diaries" star insisted on helping Paola in the kitchen, and the pair's banter over prepping baked ziti was uniquely hilarious.

But Graham wasn't the only celeb guest who left Staten Island with an open invitation to come back anytime -- Vinny made his sister's day year with a surprise visit from her star crush, MGK. A few Mac Photobooth shots and one-liners later, and we had one of the most quotable episodes so far this season. Take a look at some of our favorites below!

"I spin while I'm doing it!" -- Giorgio the pizza man
When Vinny and MGK asked Staten Island's most famous pie-maker if he uses his skills to land chicks, Giorgio shared that his wife is already reaping the benefits.

With a Skrillex collabo and studio debut said to feature hip-hop heavyweights such as Drake, Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller both in the works, as well as scene-stealing guests stints on "Ridiculousness" and "One Life to Live" now under his belt, Mad Decent music artist and former "From G's to Gents" contestant Riff Raff is a neon-bright star on the rise, already achieving some iconic status for his outrageous fashion sense and lyrical wizardry. (Fittingly, he's named his upcoming album "Neon Icon.")

There's a lot to be learned from Riff Raff, which is why he's serving as Remote Control's honorary academic for the entire month of June, doling out definitions of a big word each day. Today's linguistic lesson focuses on the word "sobriquet" -- take a look at the video, and follow the social media titan's musings on Twitter.

After a far-too-long hiatus, Nick Cannon's "Wild 'N Out" returns July 9 to MTV2! As we await the highly anticipated sketch show comeback, each Throwback Thursday we'll be getting nostalgic about some of the most memorable moments and cast members from the series' first four seasons. We can't think of a better way to utilize the #TBT hashtag!

Snoop Nick Picture

Even though he's a Lion now, the artist formerly known as Snoop Dogg has softened up his image quite a bit in the past few years. You may recall a time when a more gangsta D-O Double Gizzle made us drop it like it's hot and had a few public run-ins with the law. There's not a huge upside to being a convicted criminal, but...Snoop's hardcore status turned out to be quite beneficial during an appearance on "Wild 'N Out" that called for a mock courtroom trial. Having had some experience with the real deal, the rapper naturally had an edge over his opponents.

In "Plead the Fif," the team captains had to respond to questions with a funny quip, or forfeit the round by invoking their constitutional right to zip their lips. Snoop, operating as the black team's captain, ultimately proved his bark was much stronger than the red team's bite, and to add insult to injury, capped off the game with a poster that truly left Nick Cannon speechless. Hubba hubba!

There's never any shortage of celebrity gossip or blogs that cover celebrity gossip, but the one thing Remote Control can offer that no other media outlet can is a host who still lives at home with his mother (if she was our mother, we'd never move out, either). This week's pop culture report features some happy news for a former MTV star: Kristin Cavallari tied the knot with longtime beau and baby daddy Jay Cutler! On the flip side, ex-NFL player Chad Johnson (aka Ochocinco) was sent to the slammer after slapping his lawyer's butt in court. Long story, so we'll let Vin explain.

Oh, and Octomom needs to get her greedy tentacles off of Mr. Benjamin Franklin.

Check out the latest Vinny Skinny below for the details on these stories, and, of course, don't forget to tune in tonight at 10/9c for a new episode of "The Show with Vinny," featuring MGK and Kat Graham as the Guadagnino Family's house guests.

MTV has been home to many different show hosts over the years, each with their own unique approach to the job. From cool dude Carson Daly to mama's boy Vinny Guadagnino, the personalities have run the gamut, and while all of them possess incredible talent, we pinpointed six standouts below. Take a look at our picks, vote for your favorite in the poll, and if he or she isn't in the list, leave a nomination in the comments!

Nikki and SaraNSL
Nikki Glaser and Sara Schaefer consistently offer a mix of pop culture and comedy on their late night talk show, "Nikki & Sara LIVE." What other hosting duo could get Jay Sean to give them beatboxing lessons or Max Irons to share his hidden talents on camera? With lol-worthy man-on-the-street vids and juicy celebrity interviews, it’s no wonder their show was picked up for a second season.

Vinny GuadagninoVinny
On "The Show," all sorts of talented people travel to Vin's Staten Island home to be interviewed and break some delicious Italian bread with his fam. There's no other talk show in the entertainment universe that would end with skateboarding lessons from Lil Wayne or a trip to an indoor amusement park with Victoria Justice, that's for sure. Best of all, Vinny is just as starstruck to meet his famous guests as any one of us would be. He truly is a down-to-earth guy.

The National Climactic Data Center reported that extreme weather caused $110 billion worth of damage to the United States last year, but they've yet to assess the cost associated with the Northwest's recent Hurricane Nia. We should all brace ourselves for the worst.

Nia swept through Portland during this season of "Real World," leaving much of it in ruins, and the hardest part of trying to escape her wrath was that no advisory system could detect when she was ready to strike. So that all those who cross Nia's path in the future have a better shot at survival than did her housemates, we researched and identified the sure signs of her progression, using the Saffir-Simpson wind scale as reference. From Category 1 to Category 5, check out the hurricane's trajectory below.

Category 1: No destruction expected, but remain inside and away from windows -- Here, Hurricane Nia is mostly dormant, but a little drizzle, warm breeze and/or passive-aggressive joke may indicate danger to come. For example, if she tells you: "I have this ghost that steals clothes from me" because she can't track down a missing sock, you should trust your instincts that something is a bit askew.

Nia1

Category 2: Winds pick up, ominous clouds roll in -- The sky looks a little bit darker than it did 10 minutes ago and you can probably detect a soft clap of thunder in the distance. At this point, Hurricane Nia's intentions are becoming apparent -- even to domestic animals used as pawns in her destructive plot -- but we're not quite dealing with the apocalypse, and there's no reason to panic quite yet.

Nev and pops snap a selfie before catching the NYC Ballet.

With Snooki, Paola Giaimo and a whole bunch of teen moms in the MTV family, Mother's Day was a big deal here on Remote Control. But Father's Day will be no joke, either, as there are plenty of dads we know who deserve some love on Sunday. Jionni LaValle, for instance, who's shaping up to be a great role model for his son, Lorenzo. And then there's the man who helped bring "Catfish" star Nev Schulman into this world. We don't know him personally, but we sure want to!

Ever since "Catfish" took off, Nev's become kind of a transient creature, never staying in one place for too long as he pops in and out of hotel rooms with his partner in crime, Max Joseph. But occasionally Nev's able to rest his head at his childhood home with dear ol' dad, and when he does, Mr. Schulman makes sure his son's visit is extra special. "When I stay with my dad he leaves me notes on my mirror. I save them all," Nev recently Instagrammed with the photo below. Cutest. Thing. EVAR. It's suddenly very clear where Nev gets his compassion from -- and, whoa, the resemblance is uncanny!

Harry

Prince Harry at the Crystal Ball in London last month.

No one can accuse Vinny Guadagnino of lacking ambition. Last month, the MTV host sought out our nation's Commander In Chief to come on his "Show," and now, he's got his sights set on the Royal Family. Vin's hoping to round out his slew of celebrity visitors with none other than Windsor's bad boy, Prince Harry, and is asking for your help to get "his royal ass on my couch" by tweeting #TheShowWithHarry until it's trending worldwide. C'MON, YOU GOT THIS!

Vin begins his formal video-invitation innocently enough ("Harry: I'm into the Brits. I think you guys are really smart!") but quickly gets down to business, telling Harry that England's terrible food is one of many reasons making the trek across the pond would be well worth his while. Visiting Staten Island would mean saying sayonara to stale fish 'n' chips platters for a home-cooked Italian smorgasbord fit for a king. Plus, it ain't a secret that Harry likes to rage, and Vin pitches an enticing night of hijinks. "We'll go party a little bit, and then we'll talk about royal things and worldly issues." Over tea with pinkies up, of course.

Could you see Harry scarfing down Paola's baked ziti? Check out Vinny's plea, and get #TheShowWithHarry on the social media map!
