BrettBeauBornRaceTrailer

By Natalie Gontcharova

Those photos we revealed a few weeks back of a much scruffier (and dare we say...sexier?) Brett Davern and Beau Mirchoff on the set of their new movie were lovely to gawk at, but we've finally got a hold of something a little meatier to satiate all you "Awkward" fans until "Born to Race: Fast Track" premieres: The trailer has finally arrived! And it definitely gives "The Fast and the Furious" some competition.

In the film, Brett and Beau play foes-turned-friends who race cars, make out with hot girls, wear aviator shades and beat each other up. (Just like "Top Gun," but on the ground!) If you're looking to find the second coming of Jake and Matty, this ain't the place -- even though the "Awkward" pals got into a tiff or two over J-Ham in the past, they never quite pummeled the s*** out of each other like this. And while it's neat to watch the actors behind our favorite PHHS guys channel their dark, brooding sides, it is pretty weird to see Brett sucking face with someone other than Tamara. Just wait 'til Jillian hears about this...

+ Check out the trailer, head over to BornToRaceMovie.com for more info on the flick and tell us if you'll be buying tickets to it!

We're just a few weeks away from firing up the grill for Fourth of July celebrations, and MTV2's patriotic turn is bound to make this year's bash the most entertaining one yet! The network announced today that Nick Cannon and Lil Duval will host a "Red, Wild 'N Blue Weekend" special starting July 4 and going strong all holiday weekend long. Anyone else just get the sudden urge to belt out "The Star-Spangled Banner"?

As Americans in every corner of the country host pool parties, nibble on potato salad and watch fireworks, Nick and Lil D will be counting down the craziest episodes of "Guy Code," "Ridiculousness," "Jackass" and more, to gear you up for the highly anticipated July 9 premieres of their respective shows, "Wild 'N Out" and "Ain't That America." And if the "WNO" trailer below is any indication, you can bet the star-studded return is going to take the show to a whole new LOL-worthy stratosphere, with the likes of Kevin Hart, Mac Miller, and MGK joining Cannon on the comedy stage.

JWOWWsleepytime

Jenni Farley looks gorgeous without an ounce of makeup on her face.

While we could probably land the lead role in a George Romero movie during our hours of REM sleep, JWOWW has proven that no matter what time of day or night -- even at bedtime -- she always looks downright sexy. The newly minted soap star posed for a demure photo sans makeup yesterday, right before she caught some pre-party zzzs, and instantly instilled envy within every girl who never hits the sheets without a healthy coat of zit cream smeared across her face.

"Nap time before XS tonight in Corpus Christi can't wait," Jenni shared on Instagram along with the accompanying pic. As if the girl actually needed beauty rest! One can only hope there's a retainer hidden behind those puckered lips...

Now, if we looked like this right before drifting off into slumber, we'd probably be posting proof of it online, too, but as it stands, JWOWW puts our sheep-counting look to shame. Bet she doesn't even drool on her pillow.

+ Tell us what you think of Jenni's fresh-faced look!

Ben Savage, Danielle Fishel, Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter on the "GMW" set.

In some highly expected but still totally amazing news, Disney announced earlier today that they've officially picked up the "Boy Meets World" sequel, "Girl Meets World." Children of the '90s, rejoice!

Newcomers Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter will play the female versions of Cory and Shawn, respectively, co-starring alongside "World" vets Ben Savage (adult Cory), Danielle Fishel (adult Topanga) and Mr. Feeny (same ol' old guy). And while fans of the original series will have to wait until the show's 2014 premiere to see how the cast has evolved since high school, thanks to these pics from Disney, we can catch a glimpse of Mr. and Mrs. Cory Matthews in mommy and daddy-mode on the set.

With a Skrillex collabo and studio debut said to feature hip-hop heavyweights such as Drake, Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller both in the works, as well as scene-stealing guests stints on "Ridiculousness" and "One Life to Live" now under his belt, Mad Decent music artist and former "From G's to Gents" contestant Riff Raff is a neon-bright star on the rise, already achieving some iconic status for his outrageous fashion sense and lyrical wizardry. (Fittingly, he's named his upcoming album "Neon Icon.")

There's a lot to be learned from Riff Raff, which is why he's serving as Remote Control's honorary academic for the entire month of June, doling out definitions of a big word each day. Today's linguistic lesson focuses on the word "hemidemisemiquaver" -- take a look at the video, and follow the social media titan's musings on Twitter.

SnookiJionniFathersDay

Life doesn't get better than this for Snooks and Jionni.

Last month, Snooki celebrated her new favorite holiday, Mother's Day, and yesterday it was her fiancé/baby-daddy Jionni's turn to bask in the joy of early parenthood. The LaValle-Polizzi clan observed Jionni's very first Father's Day with a backyard pool party and a whole bunch of picture-taking, the photos of which are nothing short of cavity-inducing. Cupcakes have got nothin' on little Lorenzo.

"Happy first Father's Day to my AMAZING fiancé Jionni. He is my best friend that I can tell anything to, and he's also the love of my life that I cannot wait to marry and have more babies with!" Snooks wrote on her Celebuzz page. The proud future-wifey clearly could not get enough of the most important men in her life, and spent the happy occasion snapping mantel-worthy shots, but not before posing with the first love of her life, Papa Polizzi! "Happy Father's day dad <3," she shared on Instagram.

If you think you've got a strong enough sweet tooth, check out this Father's Day pic parade, but when your face gets stuck in permanent "aww" mode or your teeth start falling out, don't say we didn't warn you.

Actor Terry Crews with his TV kids on the "Everybody Hates Chris" set.

It's often said that art imitates life, but never before have we seen that sentiment executed as perfectly as we have while watching MTV2. The fathers on "Everybody Hates Chris," "Smart Guy," "The Wayans Bros." and "Boy Meets World" bear a striking resemblance to our own old men -- from worrying about how to pay the bills to humiliating their onscreen kids. Check out some of the moments that made us say, "Hey...that sounds familiar," in GIF-form, below, and don't forget to wish dear ol' dad a happy Father's Day!

Julius, "Everybody Hates Chris"

Balancing the check book each month can be a daunting task for dads, especially in this economy. However, financial stress seems to be something every head of household experiences, regardless of the times. On "Everybody Hates Chris," the comedian's cheapskate dad shows us how worrying over financial woes existed just as much in the 1980s as it does in 2013. Some things never change.

Among the mighty feats that MTV's "Girl Code" accomplishes is empowering its viewers to laugh off their insecurities and embrace their inner superstar. There's a kick-ass chick in all of us, so each week, we're shining the spotlight on one newsworthy woman who deserves a standing ovation. And some cake. Cake is good. Take a look at our latest pick!

AlondraPerla

Alondra Gervacio holds her daughter, Perla, during an interview.

Being a mom is a hard enough job as it is, but being a mom and covert superhero? Excuse us while we explode into applause.

New York City mom Alondra Gervacio learned how to strike that balance earlier this week, when an out of control taxi cut across multiple lanes on a busy street and directly into her -- and her baby's -- path. The taxi driver, who had collapsed from a heart attack behind the wheel, hit Alondra and crushed the stroller she was pushing under its wheels, trapping Alondra's eight-month-old daughter, Perla, under the car.

Unconcerned for her own safety, Alondra summoned superhuman strength and dove under the taxi to rescue her little girl. Running high on a mix of adrenaline and pure mama-bear power, Alondra pulled Perla from under the car and rushed her to safety. Thanks to Alondra's quick thinking, the pair only suffered minor injuries, and thanks to CCTV, the moment has been captured on tape to remind everyone that superheros walk among us, every day.

JordanNiaHand

Jordan and Nia's hands used to be in fisticuffs when in each other's company, but now, it's all good.

During the worst of her storm's wrath, Hurricane Nia once aimed to cut down Jordan by mocking his fingerless hand, but now that the former foes have done some soul-searching and talked through their differences, it looks like his might be the only one she wants to hold. The "Real World" Portland hotheads shocked their social media followings this week with an exchange of flirty messages and photos, and we have to wonder: Is the world's most unlikely couple manifesting before our very eyes?

Elsewhere on social media this week, the fiery Marie reflected on her combative past, but there were only pleasant memories for Anastasia, who couldn't help but smile at the final "Real World" scene. And though reunion special host Coral Smith's, uh, upper body was the subject of much attention, Ashley Rickards could only fixate on the fact that Sadie Saxton actually said something sincere on the "Awkward" summer finale.

Let's keep it real, folks. Life isn't always a bed of roses, and a week without one bad day included is pretty rare. But guess what? You made it to Friday in one piece, and Rev Run's social media musings are just the thing to get you into Zen mode for the weekend. Check out a few of our favorite recent @RevRunWisdom posts, then kick back, relax and be happy.

Rev_Diddy

Rev Run and P. Diddy say "Deuces!"

Aside from being music industry pioneers, it would appear that Rev Run and P. Diddy don't have much in common, so you might be surprised to find that the always-insightful Run has recently taken some inspiration from Diddy's idioms. Run gave some of his fellow MC's virtual sentiments the good ol' retweet this week, and when we looked more closely, Diddy wasn't the only one to whom Rev showed some social media love.

In addition to sharing the "Making The Band" mogul's message, the "Run's House" dad broadcast former "TRL" host LaLa Anthony's tweet, which led to a post about knowing when to weed out the bad seeds. Was there some kind of secret MTV seminar we all missed?

Check out some of this week's best quotes from Rev Run (featuring Diddy and LaLa) below.

This Diddy-approved quote should be taken figuratively, not literally...unless you're surrounded by gorilla juiceheads.
