Top TV Shows

There's never any shortage of celebrity news, or blogs that cover celebrity news, but the one thing Remote Control can offer that no other website can is an anchor who still lives at home with his mother (if she was our mother, we'd never move out, either). Tonight's "Vinny Skinny" has a dose of both happy and sad headlines, with Honey Boo Boo's parents exchanging vows in a redneck bash fit for Kid Rock (happy!), Lauryn Hill getting sentenced to time in the slammer (sadz!) and Chris Brown confirming his breakup with Rihanna (we'll let you pick the correlating emotion). Watch Vinny Guadagnino break down the stories that stood out most this week, and make sure to check out "The Show with Vinny" at 10/9c to hear him chat with his latest guests, Scott Disick of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and Victoria Justice!

After a far too long hiatus, Nick Cannon's "Wild 'N Out" returns July 9 to MTV2! As we await the highly anticipated sketch show comeback, each Throwback Thursday we'll be getting nostalgic about some of the most memorable moments and cast members from the series' first four seasons. We can't think of a better way to utilize the #TBT hash tag!

#TBT: Kanye West performs on Season 2 of "Wild 'N Out"

If you think Kanye West's shocking behavior started with his online rants and VMA stage crash, think again! West was "Wildin' Out" years before his anger issues became office gossip. Way back in 2006, during his Christmas sweater phase, the rapper let his freak flag fly on the zaniest comedy show MTV had to offer: "Wild 'N Out."

The still above features Kanye performing his then hit single, "Brand New," during his second stint on the show. When he first appeared during Season 1, he not only rocked the stage with "Diamonds," but also demolished Nick Cannon and the rest of the Red Team during the Wildstyle Freestyle. Note to all aspiring comedians: Never battle Kim K's baby daddy in a freestyle war. You will lose.

+ Check back for more old-school "WNO" photos, and tune in July 9 to see which rappers will face off against Nick and his team when "Wild 'N Out" returns!

GirlCodeShirt

Seriously, don't ever take them off.

If you thought watching "Girl Code" was life-affirming, why not give wearing it a shot? Now, you can actually preach the "Code" without having to utter a word, with brand-new T-shirts available at the MTV Shop! There are two different types of tees, featuring sage advice in a variety of colors. One is a variation on Great Britain's motto, "Keep calm, and carry on," but instead of carrying on, this shirt suggests you snoop through his phone while he's sleeping. Hey, what he doesn't know won't hurt him...?

The other, which you can see above, features a tip never, EVER to be forgotten: Keep your shoes on, girls. This blogger learned the lesson the hard way -- if I had seen someone wearing this shirt a few years ago, it would have saved me three stitches and a late-night trip to the emergency room.

Health comes first, so pick up a shirt!

Jenna Hamilton has made great strides since Season 1 of "Awkward." At the start of the series, she was known only as "that girl who tried to kill herself," but now, most girls her age would actually kill to be her. Not only is she dating the BMOC, but she's invited to every 'cool kid' gathering, like the one in this sneak peek of the next episode. In it, the party guests -- all dressed up in their finest costume attire -- play a game of Bless Me Father For I Have Sinned (a.k.a True or False), in which you have to guess whether the secret one of your friends just shared is the real deal. As everyone goes around in a circle, purging their scandy stories, Jenna starts to feel pressure mounting for her life to measure up. Her adventures up to this point certainly don't hold a candle to fake-Andy Warhol's nose job admission, Gatsby's Collin's lady friend's story of her first sexual encounter (with a...mountain?) or Matty's tale of possible sexual harassment (with a...special ed student?), so when her turn comes, she pulls out all of the stops by bringing up her past as, yeppppp, the girl who tried to kill herself. *record scratch* Just when things were starting to get less awkward...

Check out the clip, and let us know what you think possessed Jenna to resurrect her old dirty laundry!

"Teen Wolf" fans are some of the most needy -- in a good way, of course -- in MTV history. Clues about characters and story lines are as crucial to you as H2O, and with Season 3 only weeks away from its premiere, you've been feeling thirstier than ever. Luckily, executive producer Jeff Davis realizes that sharing is caring, so every week leading up to the kickoff he'll be releasing one teaser about the upcoming episodes. Check out the latest below!

Tyler Hoechlin and the Carver twins get up real close to that camera.

We're in the home stretch! In just 25 days, "Teen Wolf" returns to MTV with a vengeance, and the first step toward that magical moment is celebrating the fact that filming has officially wrapped! While we're sad to see all the real-time set pics disappear, we're pumped about what their absence will signify. June 3rd couldn't get here any quicker.

The photo above, which was taken on the final day of shooting, marks one of the last scenes of Season 3. We spot an intriguingly human-looking Max and Charlie Carver (aren't they Alphas?), while Tyler Hoechlin is definitely rocking his werewolf prosthetics. Make of the pic what you will, and let us rejoice that the premiere is so close! Tyler Posey certainly can't wait -- he's jumping out of his seat!

 mamas

Hot mamas Melissa Gorga, Beyoncé and Halle Berry

Before Snooki gave birth to Lorenzo, her favorite holiday was most likely Cinco de Mayo, but now that she's refocused her life on being a caretaker (and a great one, at that), funneling Sangria with wannabe meatballs at a beachside bar can hardly top spending a quiet day at home with her family. And that's why the guidette's latest Celebaby Report is a special list honoring Mother's Day -- and all the hot mamas it celebrates!

In the video below, Nicole counts down her Top 10 Celeb MILFs, which range from models and movie stars to Real Housewives and Playboy Playmates. We don't want to spoil the ending, but you might be surprised to see the "Snooki & JWOWW" star's No. 1 pick. Last year, she was accused by tabloids of dissing this A-Lister for her pregnancy weight gain, but according to Nicole, the beef was created out of thin air. "I look up to her," she says of her favorite MILF in Hollywood. Check out the vid to see who it is!

Parents

Whether young people are best friends with their parents or embarrassed by the sight of them, the wide spectrum of nuclear family dynamics has been one of the most compelling "True Life" themes, so the four episodes we chose were a no-brainer for this leg of the competition. With love and addiction already accounted for during our "True Life" tournament, now it's time to decide which family-centric episode is most deserving of this bracket's win. Take a look at clips from our editor's picks below, cast a vote for your favorite in the poll and stay tuned for tomorrow's final heat: physical disorders.

"True Life: I Can't Please My Parents"
Two young men try to pursue their passions without damaging relationships with their parents, who don't see eye-to-eye with their sons' career choices.

AvereyDump

It might be difficult to notice a small skirmish (Averey vs. Johnny) while World War III (Nia vs. Jordan) is raging on, but our resident "Real World: Portland" couple is starting to show cracks. After Averey and Bird mocked Johnny's post-bar slurred speech during tonight's episode, he completely Hulked-out, and since this type of reaction seems to be a recurring trend for the Boston boy, we have to ask: Is it time for Averey to cut him loose?

In what was initially meant to be an act of kindness, Johnny agreed to bring pizza back from Schmizza's for his female housemates after collecting his paycheck, but instead, he chose to stay there and get hammered. When he finally returned home, his drunken aggression escalated to the point of yelling at Averey for essentially nothing, and she gave her boyfriend the cold shoulder for the next few days. "He's a little boy," she told Bird, as the distance between the couple grew. Ultimately, the two reconciled, but we have a feeling it's only a matter of time before Johnny's inner-angry drunk rears its ugly head again.

+ Tell us what you think -- can Johnny and Averey's connection transcend their troubles, or is it time for Averey to go local and find a nice Oregonian?

2807aftershow1

When two hot-heads are attacking each other -- both verbally and physically -- the folks unlucky enough to bear witness to it are forced to react in one of two ways: They can either muster up the balls to step between the crazies in an attempt to stop the fighting, like Marlon did, or they can freak out and peace out, á la Jessica. No matter how they slice it, though, at least one of said crazies is bound to be disappointed in their actions.

In the MTV.com "Real World: After Show" clips below, Jordan and Nia explain -- from their glass houses -- how neither of them appreciated the way the "Portland" housemates handled their argument's aftermath. "Marlon getting involved, that kinda set me off," Jordan says, but you have to assume his POV is based on the fact that Marlon chose Nia's side, because Jordan certainly changes his tune when he talks about Anastasia's part in the whole ordeal. "I wasn't surprised that [Ana] took my side, I was just very surprised that she did not pipe up." As the one person who saw the whole thing go down, both Nia and Jordan agree that Ana had a wealth of information that could have cleared up some tension in the house, and that her choice to stay mum on the subject and not get involved only hurt matters more. "At the end of the day, it wasn't our fight, " Jessica finally says, trying her best to silence her stubborn co-stars. That'll be the day!

+ So, tell us: Do you think you would you have stepped in, or would you have left Nia and Jordan to sort it out on their own? Take our poll!

SteveMini

One of Steve Mini's many faces.

The "Nitro Circus Live" cast gets banged up pretty badly on occasion, so it's essential for the gang to get some good stretching in before their performances in order to help prevent permanent damage. Arms and legs are a given, but during last night's episode, we learned that not a single body part escapes the crew's warm-up routine -- not even their faces.

"Every day before the show, I do my yodeling exercises," Cam McCaul said, before stretching his lungs and mouth to perform a makeshift opera. "You gotta warm up every part of your body. I'm doing calves and vocal chords right now," he explained. Crazy Cam's eccentricities are no shock to us by now, but his facial exercises seem to have caught fire among the cast, because almost everyone got on board with the funny faces last night. Check out some GIFs of the guys' goofy looks, below!
