All girls love to dress fun and flirty in the summer. Throw on some gladiator sandals, a long bohemian dress, braid your hair and it’s time for the beach! But pulling off sophisticated chic isn’t always easy when the temperature rises — not that you’d know it from looking at Lo Bosworth.

Earlier this week, the hot-to-trot Hillzie hit up MyHouse for Diddy’s BET Awards party, lightening up her black pants/dressy peep-toes with a floral sequined shirt, turquoise earrings and a creamy, tan purse. Our verdict? So elegant! And we especially love that sparkly scoop-neck top. Not too dark, not too light … perf for a starry (well, star-studded!) summer night.

Erin Lucas has always had great taste in shoes. And earlier this week, girl was getting up close and personal with a pair of saffron sneaks. Peep these pix of Erin’s fabulous footwear from Tuesday night’s Nylon + Nike Sportswear shindig.

Still, there’s one aspect of the baby’s upbringing in which Josh isn’t willing to bend. Watch this deleted scene from tonight’s episode, where the topic of religion is first raised … and the only solution might lie in a coin flip.

Audrina Patridge never used to be shy when it came to relationship talk. But after The Brody Jenner Incident, all the Justin Bobby drama and even that Chris Pine disaster, girl’s decided to keep her newest love on lockdown. ‘Course, that’s not always easy when you’re constantly surrounded by paparazzi. Last month, ‘Drina was spotted in Vegas making out with her ex, Corey Bohan, and the pair was photographed holding hands in Mexico a week later.

So are they officially dating?

“Corey and I have an amazing time together,” the Hills star recently told People. “My family loves him,” she went on, “[but] I’m not jinxing anything, because as soon as I say anything, I swear it goes bad. And then it like flips around and you’re like, ‘Why did I say anything?’ We’ll see what happens.”

Okay, so she’s afraid of labels. But will we be seeing Corey on her new MTV series, The Audrina Show? The short answer is: maybe … if he can stick around through August. “We start filming at the end of the summer,” Audrina said. And, as we all know, a lot can happen before then!

Lately, there’ve been lotsa conflicting rumors about Whitney Port’s love life. Depending on what you believe, girl’s either single and fabulous, coupling up with real estate broker Freddie Fackelmayer or falling back in love with scruffy music man/ex-boyfriend Jay Lyon. And while we don’t know what to think (not even Page Six can keep their story straight!), we thought we’d take a moment to consider the possibilities.

This week’s Paris Hilton’s My New BFF was chock full of (more!) accusations, (more!) crying and (LOTS more!) complaining, so naturally the whiniest two of our BFF wannabes suffered the consequences. See ya (and truly wouldn’t want to be ya), Kaitlin and Nicole!

While we don’t necessarily agree that Nicole’s a “psycho” (maybe just in need of some yoga and/or a horse tranquilizer), we will admit that her squeaky voice was a deal breaker for us since the start of the show. And apparently, Paris was in the same boat.

Note: Some of you may have noticed a *slight* double standard on P’s part for knocking Nikki’s baby talk, but hey, it’s Paris’ prison and her (own high-pitched) word goes…

While there was technically no exchange of bodily fluids, it sure looked like Jonna and CJ were on the stairway to heaven during tonight’s episode of Real World: Cancun. Spooning! Cuddling! Hand-holding! Is that what platonic friends normally do? Not in our world, but then again, we have boyfriends who’d never put up with that kinda crapola.

Only time will tell whether Jonna’s BF Matt will call her out for being emotionally unfaithful, but we want to hear what you have to say about the subject. Take our poll and tell us: Is Jonna (kinda? sorta? maybe?) cheating on Matt by being all snuggly with CJ?

As previously warned, Ayiiia and Joey banged heads on tonight’s episode of Real World: Cancun, and although apologies were eventually offered and accepted, there’s no taking back the outrageously immature behavior displayed by both of them. (Let’s hope their Sunday School teachers weren’t watching!)

Anywho, we’re kinda divided on which roommate acted more insane, so we’re putting the question to you: Who do you think needs a tighter straight jacket? It’s a toss-up for sure, which is why we’ve put together a quick blow-by-blow of J and A’s three-part battle. Check out our Cliff’s Notes of what went down, then pipe up about who deserves a bigger kick in the teeth.

ROUND ONE: Pool Sticks and Stones
While playing pool with CJ, Ayiiia arrogantly claims that she’s naturally good at everything she tries. Then she corrects Joey when he refers to “breaking” as “hitting all the balls.” The following tense words are exchanged:

Joey: “You’re much nicer when you don’t speak.”
Ayiiia: “Yeah, you’re less of an asshole when you don’t speak either.”

ROUND TWO: Verbal Spat, Taco Spit
Joey tells Ayiiia to shut up as she repeatedly announces to all of Mexico that Joey has herpes on his lip. Now enraged, Joey hocks a fat loogie on her takeout tacos! (Hey, his first choice was her face.) Ayiiia then huffs and puffs and actually needs to be restrained from hitting Joey. She punches the wall instead, then cries.

ROUND THREE: Property Damage
Ayiiiya, Emilee and Jasmine all gather on the balcony to talk some more shiz. Joey enters from stage right performing an incredibly irritating song ( “Nobody cares what you say la la la”), to which Ayiiia responds by throwing water at him, thus damaging his $1000 guitar. To top off the night, Ayiiia stabs Joey’s CD while he’s not watching.

+See, we told ya it’d be hard to pick a winner! Still, we’re sure one of these roomies had to have rubbed you wronger. Who’s it gonna be? Sound off now!

The first rule of Student City: No fraternizing with the clientele. (That’s uber profesh speak for “No playing coed naked tonsil hockey with ‘dem vulnerable Spring Breakers.”) The second rule of Student City: No DRINKING. Uh, bitchsaywha?! Where’s the Real Worldiness in this gig?

Our hypothesis: Real World: Cancun producers specifically picked the beach babysitting assignment for the group because it’s a guaranteed train wreck. And if that’s the case, all we can say is, “TOTALLY. EFFING. GENIUS!”

So which cast member do you think will be the first to break the rules and consequently get the boot? Most of the roomies claim they can lay off the booze, but we happen to think they’re delusional, or just plain liars. Plus, there’s always one guy/girl who hasn’t got a shot in hell of staying on the straight and narrow. Take the poll below and tell us: Which Real Worlder’s bound to get canned?

In the real actual world, boys and girls often peacefully coexist — unless they happen to be married. But on MTV’s vershe, the two sexes generally mix about as well as oil and vinegar.  (Which, for all you non-chem majors, is really, really bad.)

‘Member the fallout from Joey and Ayiiia’s screamy taco fight? Within approximately two secs of the Spit Heard ‘Round The World, the house was already split into two opposing sides: Joey and the guys and Ayiiia and the girls. The only X factor? Jonna, who defected to the boys’ camp because she enjoys flirting shamelessly and hates uptight, humorless chicks (and girls with tough-to-spell first names).

+ Think the Cancun cast will keep acting like a bunch of cootie-fearing elementary schoolers (a la Real World: Brookyln)? Or will Joey’s tentative truce with Emilee and Ayiiia actually hold?  Let us know whether the guy-girl roomies will eventually stop spitting in each others’ tacos — and start being friendzies.

Despite what she keeps telling her super serious boyfriend back home, Jonna and CJ seemed awfully close to crossing the line tonight. And we couldn’t help rolling our eyes just a little bit when she told Matt that EVERYBODY here snuggles (slash dry humps on the dance floor?!) and it totally doesn’t mean a thing. (Hey, too bad CJ’s ex-girlfriend didn’t agree!)

But before you judge Jonna too harshly, know this: she may be a flirt, but she’s not eyin’ CJ exclusively! Turns out, she and Joey have had plenty of touchy-feely alone time, too. Which either makes it a lot better — or SO much worse — depending on your POV.

Either way, watch as Jonna shows her appreciation for Joey’s, er, “music” then catch them swapping stories — and spooning hardcore in the hammock! — after the jump.

Over the last few years, playboy-turned-devoted husband Spencer Pratt’s tried on a bunch of different hats. But now the rapper/politico/weatherman-hating Hills star says he’s changed his “evil” ways for good and claims he’s done wasting his “time and energy on fame and pop culture.”

Natch, we’re kinda skeptical (since when has the I’m A Celebrity alum been AGAINST publicity?!), but we’re willing to give him the benefit of the doubt (for now) and let you make the call.
