Suitcases loaded for what looked like another trip abroad, each of MTV's Exiled stars to date showed up at our Times Square studio on October 31 with a mission to outshine the others. There were curling irons and flattening irons and lip gloss in every color of the rainbow. There were Louis Vuitton bags slung over bronzed shoulders, Sidekicks blowing up left and right and impromptu fashion shows of slutty sexy Halloween costumes brought along for their post-taping trip to a local haunted house.

Nervous laughter and fake smiles filled the Green Room before the girls (and guy) hit the stage for Exiled 's first Reunion Special ever! Check out our behind-the-scenes pics from the event and make sure to tune in tomorrow at 1pm to see what went down in front of the studio audience...

The dirt floor. This is one ex-Super Sweet 16er who wasn't a happy camper during her journey abroad. Check out Meleny's diary below to get all the gory details...

THE NIGHT OF THE INTERVENTION
Tonight I’m leaving for Peru. My dad told me that I'm going to be living 12,000 ft up in the mountains. I'll also be meeting a girl my age named Helen, as well her family, who are a part of the Quechua people. I’m going to be living with them for a week. This is the first time I’m going to be away from my family for that long. I'm really nervous about the people, where I’m going to be sleeping, what I’m going to be eating, etc. I hope that I come back as the person my family wants me to be...

DAY 1
I met Helen and her family for the first time today. Everyone was very welcoming, but they were dirty and some of them were missing teeth. Helen then showed me her house, which was actually a hut. It was like nothing I had ever seen before. It had dirt floors and there were guinea pigs running around all over the place. Her kitchen and her bedroom were all in the same room, which was actually the only room in her hut. Helen's whole house is the same size as my bedroom alone. There are no bathrooms here or any electricity. There’s no gas stove or heat -- they cook their food over a wood fire. There seems to be a lot of bugs in the hut, which is making me feel itchy all over.

The guinea pigs aren’t cute to me at all. They remind me of rats and the noise they make is super creepy. I don’t think I’m going to be able to sleep tonight -- I'll probably be up the whole time making sure no bugs or guinea pigs come into bed with me.

I don’t feel very safe here at all, and I don’t understand why my dad would do this to me. I’m so mad at him. I just hope the next week flies by because I already can’t wait to get home.

DAY 2
This trip feels more like a punishment than a positive experience. Last night I slept in a tent -- it was so cold and when I woke up my face was all swollen and it felt really weird. I scared myself when I looked in the mirror.

DAY 3
On strike.

DAY 4
I woke up this morning really sick. I kept throwing up, I had a bad head ache and my heart was racing. I also couldn’t breathe that well. Helen had Roberto get the doctor. When the doctor saw me he said that I had altitude sickness and gave me oxygen treatment. I still felt sick afterwards and kept throwing up. I've never felt so miserable in my entire life. I just hope I get better and this week goes by faster so I can go back home to my family and to my comfortable home. I miss everyone so much -- most of all I miss my cell phone.

DAY 5
I still feel like crap but I’m going to stick it out and try my best to adapt to Helen’s way of living. She said that we’re going to celebrate my feeling better. I have no idea how we're going to celebrate because there’s nothing fun to do around here. All they do is work. Maybe she’s going to make me eat more nasty potatoes.

LAST DAY
Things aren’t so bad here after all. Helen and I moved a herd of llamas into the coral and it was the most fun I had on this entire trip. There was a baby llama left on the hill that couldn’t make its way down to the coral on its own, so I went up the hill and carried it back down into the coral with its mommy. Everyone was so happy and they all started clapping for me.

Since you only turn 16 once, you'll need to make it count! And because we've seen every episode of every season of My Super Sweet 16 (in some cases, twice!) we figured it was time to give you the benefit of our infinite party-throwing wisdom. Our five best tips, below.

Refuse to compromise on anything whatsoever. If you want 4 designer dresses, a pony, a celebrity performer, a $100K venue and a full fireworks display, don't sell yourself short. After all, you're worth it! Just stay firm, stick to your guns, and shoot your parents out-of-control death glares whenever they dare question your impeccable judgment. (Also, if your parents are divorced, take advantage by saying things like "Really? Daddy's new girlfriend lets me wear whatever I want. Ooh! Did I mention we're the exact same size??")

Be prepared to spontaneously burst into tears if any of your infinite demands are not met. This includes failure to send out the invitations on time, incompetent security detail (and/or infiltration of the ugly/less popular kids) maxed out credit cards, the realization that your six-figure couture gown is totally fug, and being forced to experience the unforgivable public humiliation of receiving last year's Escalade.

Subject prospective dancers to an extremely long and unnecessarily dehumanizing audition process. Ideally, you'll want to stretch the whole audition into multiple rounds (with callbacks!) and find loud and inappropriate ways to break the bad news to the dancers you don't pick. This includes ordering the male dancers to take off their shirts and laughing mercilessly at the scrawny ones (while screaming "NEXT!") and immediately nixing any females with discernible amounts of backfat.

Find a nemesis and go completely over-the-top in your efforts to outdo her. So Janey whatsherface is having Fall Out Boy perform at her party? So frickin' what! Your big entrance alone will have her crying for days. Not is Pete Wentz gonna carry you over the threshold -- he's also gonna tell everyone how much hotter you are than Miss Maternity Wear, Ashlee Simpson. And who cares if your parents have to take out a second mortgage on the house to pay for all this?? YOU TOTALLY JUST WON.

Find a not-particularly-attractive boy at your high school to obsess over. Single? Well, why not take this opportunity to tell your best guy friend (or, better yet, some dude you've never even spoken to!) that you're head over heels in love with him. No pressure, obvs, it's not like the whole thing is on tv. Besides, of course he'll say yes. Who wouldn't want to date you? You're fabulous! Also, his friend told your BFF's older brother that he's, like, the biggest Pete Wentz fan ever. Plus, you heard Janey's totally into him. (Take that, beeyotch!)

+ Got any tips of your own? Let us know what we left out!

Okay, Marissa may not win any Grammy's for her original song lyrics, but after watching last night's Exiled, I still say she deserves a pat on the back AND the title of "Most Improved." Here's a few of the many reasons why I think Marissa rocks:

+ She managed to stay calm, cool and collected despite having cow dung dripping from her feet.
+ She never complained, not even when she found out she'd be sleeping with poultry, balancing water jugs on her head, mopping with cow feces, slicing her finger open and getting made fun of for owning a bathing suit.
+ She found a way to make Mac & Cheese for her hosts despite not knowing the Indian words for "milk," "cheese" or "noodle."
+ She forgot all superficial concerns (high heels, skinny jeans, nonworking hair dryer) and focused all her energies on showing Pramila she was serious about wanting to change.

Do you guys agree that Marissa's trip was a total tranformation? Take another look at her Exiled diaries (and rewatch her Indian adventure!) Then tell us whether you think Marissa's still the same pouty princess who insisted on dyeing her dogs to match her dress on My Super Sweet 16.

THE NIGHT OF THE INTERVENTION
I just found out I’m going to India and I’m a little shocked. I know very little about India but I guess I am going to a little village in the jungle. I’m staying with a girl who is close to my age named Pramilla: I’m guessing it’s tiny, and from what my parents say, lots of bugs! Everyone knows I hate bugs. I understand that there may be no beds, showers or toilets. I might have to bathe in a river. Scary for sure. My parents don’t think I can do it, but I want to prove them wrong.

TRAVELING
So here I am in India. I think my parents sent me on this trip to wake me up to what the world is really like. They want to open my eyes to a world unlike anything I have seen before. At home, I am blessed with an easygoing lifestyle and I’m sure they want to show me the true meaning of hard work and discipline. I’m sure life is not as easy here as I have it in the U.S. People probably don’t live as comfortably as I’m used to. I’m guessing many things will be different. My parents think I need to learn the simple skills in life that I haven’t already, like cooking and cleaning. They don’t want me to be completely ill equipped when I finally move out on my own.

I'm honestly very open about this trip. I have always been open to new things and experiences, but obviously this trip has been planned to take me out of my comfort zone. I’m guessing some situations will be very strange and probably unpleasant. Hopefully there will be some amazing things I will see as well, and not all bad things. I'm excited to meet the family I will be staying with. I’m sure so many people think I can’t do this, but I really want to prove them wrong. I only hope they have a shower haha. But seriously… I do like to feel clean, so it will be very interesting if they don't have showers since I can already tell it is sticky and hot here.

DAY 2
I did a whole lot of work yesterday. I planted ginger and did all this nasty stuff with cow crap, but I think I handled it OK. It was nasty, but luckily I’m not easily grossed. Working yesterday sucked because it was hard, but in six months the plants will grow and Pramillla says she'll write to me and let me know if they look OK. I really hope it grows well because I worked very hard to do it right. I didn’t want to mess up.

It's sort of surreal that I am here in India, living in a tribe with a family. They are very nice and I love Pramilla. I hope she can come to Arizona and see how I live. I think she would be blown away.

At first I was nervous and scared to be here, but now I'm really enjoying the family and am so glad they let me stay with them. Everywhere I go in the village, people stare at me. I've met children, too, and they all seem fascinated by me. They say "hi" whenever I walk by and then giggle. They are cute and fun and full of energy. The littlest games are exciting to them and they can have a good time with only a stick and some wheels.

DAY 3
Today was a crazy day. First I watched Pramilla’s family catch fish and then I helped cut the fish apart. It was pretty gross. I probably wouldn’t ever do it again. After that, Pramilla and I had a very deep conversation. I feel we are very close now. She is a very sweet girl and I am so happy to have met her and her family -- they have been so kind and accepting of me. I hope we stay in touch for a long time. I'll definitely write to her when I can. We live on opposite sides of the world, but someday I hope she comes to Arizona so I can show her my life.

It sucks being dirty all the time, but it's all worth it to have met Pramilla and her family. I am glad I got to take part in this adventure. We've gone through so much together and it has been a truly moving experience. I feel like my life has changed now that I have met this family...

I just now sat on a bunch of ants -- and it sucked. I still feel like they are all over me. It’s a little weird. Bug stuff sucks. I thought the bug situation was under control, but now they're everywhere!

DAY 5
Today Pramilla and I went to the market to buy some food. Tonight I plan on making her and her whole family dinner... Mac-n-Cheese! I keep going over in my head what I need to do -- hopefully they'll like it. I’m sure it will be very different from anything they've eaten before. It probably won't taste very good though because there is nowhere to keep the milk, cheese and butter cold. And I'm not a great cook.

I also bought chips for them as a side dish. Americans eat a lot of chips and I want them to get the full American experience. I’m also going to see if they will use spoons or folks because they usually eat with their hands. It’s hard for me to eat with my hands -- I’m left handed and you have to eat with your right hand so it feels strange. It’s for sanitary reasons though. I guess it makes sense cuz they have no toilet paper. OK, back to the Mac-n-Cheese… I wish I just brought a box with me so it would be easier to cook! Hahaha. I’m probably going to have to make a fire as well, which will probably be hard because I’m not very good at starting fires. I hope the meal I make tonight doesn’t offend them in any way.

Is he the same Bjorn as before?

THE NIGHT OF THE INTERVENTION
This is so ridiculous, my parents so just ganged up on me. And not only that, they included one of my friends and my cousin to decide that I have problems. They're sending me to Morocco! What is Morocco anyways? How do they think it’s OK to send me to some random country by myself and do labor in the desert with scorpions, spiders and snakes? Their decision is totally endangering my life. What if I never come back? And in no way will I wear a turban or gellato or whatever it’s called. That is so uncalled for. OMG, what have they gotten me into? I will DIE!

DAY 1
I met Said when we pulled up to his hut. He was very open and welcoming, along with his family. His house was very big but also very primitive -- definitely something I’m not used to. There are a lot of flies everywhere that continue to bother my personal bubble. He showed me his camels who poop a lot. One had a nose ring and another tried to basically bite me. Then we went onto his sheep and goats who all looked crazy to me. Later we went off to collect camel dung and in that process we spotted multiple beetles. When I stated my fear and disgust of bugs he decided to almost chase me with a beetle and I ran.

Said had the idea for us to kill pigeons so we could provide the family's food for that night. Beforehand, I totally put my foot down and told him I would not kill any pigeons, but I would help him catch them. I personally could not bring it out of myself to kill any animals. After this conversation we went outside and I tried to help him catch the pigeons, but for me that was also a difficult and disgusting task. After we had caught two he told me we had to kill them. At this point I got frustrated and he continued to badger me to try to kill the poor innocent pigeons. After a long attempt, I got my point across and he finally understood my feelings on the issue. Still, he made sure I knew that that night all we would be eating were dates because there was no meal for his family. So we sat down and ate the dates with his family and our night was called to an end at that.

DAY 2
We woke up relatively early and started our day off with breakfast and then went to pitch water from the well for his family. Following that we came to an oasis where we helped the irrigation for not just his family but also his community. What baffled me about today was the fact that water is so difficult for them to come by and they filter it themselves. We brought home jugs and jugs just for supply because tap is expensive, which is weird because I personally do not have that far to travel for just water.

DAY 3
Way too tired to write...

DAY 4
Said woke me up and told me we would bike three hours in the desert just to dig for fossils. There’s a possibility no fossils will be found, or even if they are, it might not be solid. After we dug, we biked to a campfire and we sat and tried to understand more about each other's lives. I shared with him my SpongeBob, which called him string and that gave us a good laugh. I also showed him some pictures and a popular magazine from home. Next he showed me some already polished fossils. They were beautiful. As a gift he gave me two of the fossils I loved the most. Little does he know I have a couple good gifts prepared for him. After all this he showed me the little cave we would be sleeping in, which surprisingly was quite cozy. The flies here are very relentless by the way.

DAY 5
Today I stepped up my game and helped Said and his brother build a house. I worked very hard and I felt he was proud of me. After we finished working, we both got paid by his brother. I felt really good that we earned money for working hard. I really got my hands dirty and helped out, so they must’ve felt it was well earned. Following that we went to the desert and Said taught me to pray. He also made sure I was conscious of his family’s religion, which is Muslim. He made sure I understood that Muslim people are not terrorists and that they believe in peace. This is something that a lot of Americans have misconceived. Following our prayer he surprised me with a camel back ride in the desert. And then came a bigger surprise -- he treated me to a spa-type appointment in the desert. This consisted of a sand shower where I was buried in sand and exfoliated first with camel brain mixture. We finally made it back to his house and I got the balls to shower even with the cockroaches and all chilling in the bathroom. It was surprisingly warmer than I expected so I didn’t have too many worries.

TRAVELING HOME
I’m on my way home on the plane from Marrakech. This experience was crazy for me. I learned a lot about myself and got to know such a great person. His family was amazing and I don’t want this trip to be the last time I see them so “enchilah.” I’m not sure if I spelled it right but it means good willing. Since his father did give me a name, I feel like that makes room for me in his heart and the whole family as well. I really loved Morocco, but I’m so excited to go home at the same time. It’s a very bittersweet moment but hopefully it won’t be the last. Said giving me that gift for my mother was so spectacular. And seeing him wear my bracelet still after I gave it to him means a lot to me. I really feel the two of us connected and have become more brothers than friends.

Good times were had by all in Norway, especially upon her departure back home.

While Grams saw the trip as a good opportunity for Chelsi to "learn responsibility" and "to know that someone won't always be there to take care of her," Mom admits in the video below that her dear daughter hasn't exactly morphed into Laura Ingalls. "Things haven't changed much. The honeymoon was over 12 hours after she got back."

The good news: Chelsi's little bro says she sometimes makes her own meals (Translation: a hamburger, once) and the family feels that she's definitely thinking about changing...

Now that I've grown addicted accustomed to seeing My Super Sweet 16ers getting Exiled each week, it's become easier to predict a pattern here: Parents get pissy their kid is still taking the luxe life for granted, so they send ungrateful daughter to a land far far away, where people eat poop and do hard manual labor 24/7. Ultimately spoiled brat learns big lesson: there's more to life than Gucci. However, tonight's episode introduced a new twist -- it was reeeeeeally cold up in those mountains... and Chelsi reeeeeeally fought against it.

So did Chelsi walk away from that Norwegian snow village any more enlightened than before? Good thing she kept a diary during her rough and tumble excursion. Get a blow-by-blow account below, then tell us: Would you have been able to hack it?

TRAVELING
To get here I had to take a seven hour flight to Munich (or Munchy as my brother calls it). Then I took a two hour flight to Oslo. From Oslo, after a long layover, I flew to Kirkenes. Then I drove to a town about 2 ½ hours away called Tana Bru. After that I was supposed to come to Meehan, but the road that connected the path was blocked with tons of snow. So instead, I drove around, which took seven hours. When I arrived, members of the Seda were there as well as the family.

The Seda is like a cooperative which works together to heard reindeer. Maret and her family were dressed in the native outfits. I was also given one to wear. It was a beautiful coat made of reindeer fur which would cost about $6,000 in the stores. Maret’s mom told me I looked like a Sami when I was dressed because I am not too tall or short and not too fat or thin. When I first arrived, Maret told me this was my new home, but there was nothing to live in. That’s when I found out I had to actually build the lavu...

DAY TWO
Today is Monday, the second day I have been with the family in Norway. It took us like three days just to get here! Yesterday I helped build a lavu, which is a tent the family lives in during the winter. It looks like a teepee. Maret’s parents are very nice but they are nothing like my own. They are very quiet and serious, where my parents are very loud and like to joke around a lot. Her mom speaks a little English, but her dad doesn't know any. Oh, and I also tried eating reindeer last night. I only had about two bites, but it wasn’t awful.

Today I helped build a fence and it was wicked hard. I had to trudge back and forth in the snow like 10 times. By the end I just wanted to collapse. I just wanna be home -- the Arctic Circle is definitely not like The States, not even close. Hopefully we will be migrating the deer soon. I can’t go home until we migrate them so… yeah. Migrating deer = home.

DAY THREE
Well I dunno what else to say. I had to go to the bathroom outside for the first time yesterday and it was an awful experience. And get this –- the people here eat with just a knife, and they use this knife for everything. The one I was given had blood all over it. Maret said it was because they cut the reindeer’s ears with it to mark which reindeer belongs to who. Um… yuck! I had to wipe it off for like 10 minutes, but I still was quite grossed out. Mom is gonna laugh her head off when I tell her that one! Actually, everyone probably will. I can’t believe I am actually doing this.

DAY FOUR
Today Maret made me learn how to snowmobile. It was fine until she made me go up these giant hills and I got the stupid thing stuck facing straight up the hill. Then I started crying because I was frustrated and homesick. I miss my puppies, my dad, mum, and Neena. I also miss the shower, bathroom, and refrigerator with normal food.

DAY FIVE
Something I noticed here is that for like every meal they have bread with cold meat. This kinda sucks for me because I hate cold meat!

Oh, I forget to mention the shoes I've been wearing. They're made of reindeer fur as well and soo soo warm. I want a pair to wear at home!

I’m really tired and feel like I could to shower for like an hour or maybe two. I just want my normal life back again. I think that fixing a fence is a lot harder than doing laundry or making my bed would be. It would be a hell of a lot warmer, too. I also want to warm up because right now I am so cold. Cold and tired together suck… a lot. I can't wait to have a warm bed, shower and an amazing night’s sleep in a house. Even a teenie tiny shanty would seem amazing right now.

LAST DAY
Yesterday was the migration. We learned to use the lasso in the morning. I was pretty good at it. I got the reindeer antlers on my third try. Then we played a game where you run around with the antlers on your head while the other person tries to lasso you. It was pretty hard. After that, Maret and I headed to the mountains to meet the Seda. We got to see the reindeer from a distance at first. There were so many of them. From far away, it actually looked like tons of bugs running in the snow. We eventually caught up with the reindeer and the Seda. This is when we had to push the reindeer. We looked for the reindeer who had walked away from the herd to go eat the moss off the rocks. We followed them with the snowmobiles and chased them back towards the herd. I got to push some reindeer all by myself. It was really cool and they were beautiful -- pretty short with tiny tails and white to light brown fur. Their butts were completely flat! We continued pushing the reindeer all the way to the road. Some of them accidentally got over the fence. Maret was afraid there was going to be another accident, but everything turned out OK.

At night we just kinda hung out and relaxed. I also got to call my mom and talk to her for a minute or two. She was really excited to hear from me. I told her I was feeling homesick and she felt bad. She said everyone missed me a lot and that she couldn’t wait to see me. I’m so proud of myself for helping with the migration and I learned a lot about hard work... but I’m so ready to go home.
