True Life: Casting Calls

Do you want to tell your story on True Life? We’re adding new episode ideas all the time. So keep checking back to find out if your story is coming up. See below for new episodes in development:

Do you have acrush on your partner’s brother or sister? Do you secretly want to take things farther with them, but don’t want it to end your relationship? Or have you already taken that step, hooking up with your boyfriend or girlfriend’s sibling on the sly hoping they never find out? Are you keeping this a secret, knowing if the truth ever got out it would tear you two apart? Maybe you’re really into their sibling, and are getting ready to tell your significant other that you want to break things off with them in favor of their brother or sister? Or maybe your sibling crush is a little different, but still pretty complicated?

Maybe you’ve tried everything from eating clay, to cotton balls, to tapeworms like some of Hollywood’s “It” girls in an attempt to shed major pounds. Do you constantly buy the newest, hottest cleanse to maintain your already skinny frame? Are your friends concerned about your diminishing waistline?  Do they try to give you tips on healthy eating but you opt for unconventional methods to get the body you want?
If you appear between the ages of 16 and 26 and have gone through extraordinary lengths to get thin, MTV and Gigantic! Productions wants to hear your story for a potential episode of the Emmy-award winning “True Life” series. Do your parents’ liberal ways conflict with your own views on pot?  Or does it just seem weird to see your parents lighting up around the house? Has their smoking caused you to look at mom or dad in a new light? In this episode of the award winning documentary series True Life we will explore how the increasing availability of legal marijuana has affected the family dynamic in challenging and sometimes humorous ways.

If you’re in the process of making a major life decision but are suddenly having second thoughts, do you think you’ll have the courage to put on the brakes — and disappoint your loved ones — in order to follow your heart?
