Angelina and Naomi whisper to each other while Snooki's ex-boyfriend Emilio Masella pretends not to listen.

We're always a little caught off guard when we see MTV stars chillaxin' together, but spotting a photo of two-time "Jersey Shore" cast member and Hot Topic's most-wanted woman Angelina Pivarnick singing "Happy Birthday" to Naomi from "Real World: Las Vegas" (and now, "Exes") is straight-up weird, yo.

This isn't the first time we've seen a "Jersey Shore"/"Real World" mashup (the casts got together for the "Las Vegas" premiere last year), but we're really curious about the above candid shot. When did Angie become close enough with Naomi to warrant secretive whispers?

While the newly blonde Naomi was celebrating her birthday at Taj II in New York this month, Angie and Emilio Masella (yup, Snooki's old news) showed up to hobnob with the casties. Check out the pics and let us know if you think Angie and Naomi are actually friends, or if the camera-ready party crasher was just there for the free booze to be seen.

Sometime after Sammi "Sweetheart" gave us her unedited opinion of the ineffable Wizard Of Ass and his limber employees, she and the mighty meatballs assumed their roles as key members of the "Jersey Shore" party planning committee. Time was ticking, and while the rest of the crew was out buying manual wheelchairs and canes for the 30-and-over crowd, the girls were on their way to Karma with bags of decorations in tow.

In the bonus scene below from Episode 4, Deena, Snooki and Sam dart inside the venue to begin taping streamers around the club. 'Course, they completely forget to stock up on coins to feed the meter, so after whatever amount of time one quarter bought them expires, Deena's left with a nasty ticket on her windshield. At least the second half of the group had more fun fulfilling their decoration duties, as seen in the second clip.

Ronnie and Sammi at Lil Wayne's album release party last summer.

If you asked us a few hours ago whether we felt on top of the "Jersey Shore" beat, we may have circumvented the question and hung our heads in shame. We pride ourselves on knowing the Whos, Whats, Wheres and Whys of all things that rise and set in Seaside, so when The Rumor Fix reported that SamRon, who've been uncharacteristically nice to each other in recent eps, were engaged, we felt that we failed in our mission to feed fans juice before it even drips out of the pipes.

Our first reaction to the news itself was bewilderment. How the freak did these ex-lovebirds manage to even get back together without us knowing? But shortly after the gossip circulated the webs, a little Twitter birdie assured us that Ronnie and Sam were NOT engaged. "I'm not getting married!! Where do these people come up with this stuff?!?!" single Ronnie exclaimed in less than 140 characters. Sam added a message of her own: "The stories i hear sometimes make me laugh... silly people." If for no other reason than to keep our journalistic integrity in tact, we thank them very much for sharing.

Over the past few weeks we've been teasing you with video clips and party pics to promote MTV's new irreverent scripted series, "I Just Want My Pants Back," which is based on the misadventures of four frustrated twentysomethings trying to make it in New York City. While lead Jason and his friends cope with their seemingly dead-end jobs, they're also thoroughly enjoying the benefits of living on their own--the most thrilling yet complicated of said benefits being the freedom to hook up anytime, anyplace.

As shown in the below sneak peek of the premiere (tune in Thursday at 11/10c), Jason's best bud, Tina, immediately gets caught in some embarrassing bedroom shenans. She agrees to grab drinks with a company intern under the assumption that he's there to pick her brain, but instead, he puts on the moves and they end up in bed. To Tina's dismay, after doing the dirty the young buck reveals that she'll forever be known to him as the girl who took his virginity. Surprise!

We absolutely cringe at the thought of running into a former lovah, so we can't even imagine what the "Challenge" cast must be going through on "Battle of the Exes." Being forced to interact with someone with whom you shared personal facts--not to mention shower time--is a delicate doing, which is why we've always believed in steering clear of the whole thing altogether. But, if you're ever put in a situation that makes socializing with your ex unavoidable, here are some tips we recommend following, based primarily on big mistakes the cast has already made.

Don't Makes Moves If They're Already Taken

This one's a bit tricky, but chances are, if your ex-flame is seeing someone, they're probably over you. The caveat to this truth, of course, is the off chance that they're only hooking up with a fresh fish to make you jeals. Either way, you should proceed with caution and do the exact opposite of what Wes has been doing with his teammate Mandi.
Example:

Talking S*** Will Turn Out S***ty
If you can't stand the sight of your ex, well, you're not alone. Disliking the old beau is tres normal, but that doesn't mean you need to make that public information. Let's take Jasmine for instance. Her telling Naomi that Tyrie was still totally into her (which isn't really that apparent) was a very, very bad idea, and we can't wait to see how it unfolds in Episode 2.
Example:

Don't Run From Your Issues
When your mom told you that you couldn't have the lollipop you wanted for dinner, yeah, you probably stormed off into your bedroom like the age-appropriate brat you were, but if your former fling wants to sit down with you and--oh, we don't know--DTR, don't bolt off if he or she says something you don't like. Basically, don't do what Abram did.

Every Friday we thumb through your comments from the most-talked-about post of the week and highlight each side of the argument. Check out the latest That's What You Said below and make sure to share your own opinion!

Earlier in the week we posted a preseason interview fight between Cara Maria and Abram, in which the two "Challenge" vets updated us on their current affairs. What started with an "I don't really have anything to say right now" from Abram ended with a whole lot of angry babbling about love and who-knows-what from the same guy. Tension was thick, which is what prompted many fans of the series to share their thoughts on this troubled twosome. Here's what some of you commented on Remote Control and MTV.com's "Battle of the Exes" page:

Remote Control:
"Cara Maria seems like a free spirit. I was with a girl that is a free spirit, and she was unpredictable and frustrating. It's better to just move along if you can't learn to appreciate that side of them." -- o_z_c_o

"Abram is in real pain because of this girl...I feel like he loves her much more that she loves him!! I kind of hate she is smiling to camera, and he looks like he's depressed. I do like her by the way, but this thing with Abram bothers me." -- Layla

"Whatever, Abram can do better. She's a little too young. Can she please comb her hair and take out all the red matted streaks?" -- displayname

Kristin Cavallari glows at Cirque du Soleil's 'OVO' earlier this month.

Earlier this week, we teamed up with the internets and collectively broke the news that former "Hills" star Kristin Cavallari confirmed she's expecting a child with her main squeeze Jay Cutler. The (re)newly engaged couple called off their wedding some months back, but have since reconciled, and, as evidenced by said news, gotten busy. As soon as webbers posted their baby blabber, everyone from "Exes" competitor Paula to Cavallari's old chum Audrina Patridge typed up cutesy 140-character messages to congratulate the mom-to-be on her little bundle-to-have.

And if you were curious how Cav kept the goss under wraps for so long, a recent tweet explains it all. Evidently she'd been using social media to throw people off her scent by feeding them false information. (Kristin, that's so unlike you!) Heidi Montag also tweeted a congrats of sorts, but it was quickly pushed down toward the bottom of her timeline by an excited note regarding the premiere of "The Challenge." We can't blame her; "Exes" is kinda awesome.

Check out what they and other MTV stars were up to this week:

The last time we saw Tyrie and Jasmine together on a "Challenge," they shared a passionate night 25 minutes together, which, depending on where you get your gossip, may or may not have included the bumping of uglies. But their interest in one another was short-lived, and when Jas learned her teammate for "Battle of the Exes" was Ty, you could almost see the steam spewing out of her ears.

With some good money on the line, it's imperative that these two forget the past and move on. (Or, they can just entertain us with their bickering.) Check out this sneak peek of Wednesday's all-new episode, where Jasmine tells Naomi that her partner is still totally into her. 'Course, Jas thinks it's an A and B conversation, but Tyrie is in the other room eavesdropping on their little girl talk. Pissed with her erroneous accusations, he calls her a few fun expletives, and then she returns the favor with a body-check.

So, you guys are still here to win, right?

Jenelle's been on edge the past couple of weeks, partially due to the fact that she had to stop smoking pot, but we couldn't believe our eyes during the most recent "Teen Mom 2" when she wound up getting into a violent fight with her housemate Tori. Following the episode, fans of the show jumped onto Facebook to share their thoughts about Jenelle's anger issues. Here's a sprinkling of the advice some of them left for her:

"My advice for Jenelle is to look at herself and learn to love herself and see the inner beauty that is in all of us. Forgive others and forgive herself so that she can move on to better things like raising her beautiful son, Jace. Seeing a therapist is great when necessary and I believe, like many other viewers, that she needs it. Also, she must not give up! There's hope for everyone." -- Jaz

"If I had the chance to tell her anything: There is no rule book in parenthood so you are bound to make some mistakes...but the key is to learn from them." -- KayCee

"You know what...I can relate to her anger issues. Have her anger issues gotten out of hand? Absolutely. But that doesn't mean she is a bad person...she is damaged. She does need help, as many people in this world do. I think most of us have said and done things that we regret...love makes us do crazy things. I'm not going to insult her like most people seem to enjoy doing. I hope she gets help and can feel more in control of her life." -- Tracy

It was a one-man exodus that no one could explain.

On the heels of what Mike believed to be the suckiest birthday ever, he quietly wandered out into the unknown last week. Where he went and why he left was uncertain, but when boss-man Danny called attendance on tonight's episode of "Jersey Shore," the rest of the house drew blanks when attempting to report on Sitch's whereabouts. He was gone like the wind of an American classic.

Thankfully, Mike returned home unscathed, but not without a slap on the wrist from his roommates. In a clip from this week's "Jersey Shore Hook-Up," host Kenny Santucci asks the lone wanderer to explain his vanishing act. He says he was in a terrible mood (you know, cuz he's a Cancer and that's what happens, astrologically speaking) and just needed time to himself. He drove around to clear his head for a few hours and eventually came back. "Sometimes I'll just abracadabra," he says of his Jimmy Hoffa-like disappearance.
