Leave it to Lauren Conrad and her friends to own the red carpet at tonight's MTV Movie Awards. A very relaxed LC took one final strut as the star of The Hills -- an honor which will be taken over by Kristin Cavallari come season six -- before heading inside for the main event. Check out the pics of the lovely ladies below, then tell us who you think looked the snazziest!

BONUS! After the jump, watch video of Audrina Patridge chatting up Project Runway's Christian Siriano about her flashy pink ensemble...

Lauren Conrad wasn't exactly overlooked at this year's Emmy's. Not only did she and Project Runway winner Christian Siriano get to design the trophy girls' gowns, but she got to stand thisclose to Bones hottie -- and co-presenter -- David Boreanaz while rocking a traffic-stopping (read: dangerously long) chiffon gown of her own creation. Is there anything this girl can't do?

You know, besides walk home with an Emmy?

"I think that reality television is becoming really important in the industry, because if you turn on the TV, half of it is reality," Conrad told reporters at a pre-Emmy bash. "I’m happy they’re acknowledging it."

But if half of all television is reality-based, how much longer until Lauren and Heidi are duking it out for for, Best Female Actress in a Habit-Forming Reality Show, or Audrina and Lo are pitted against one another for Most Awkward Guesthouse Fight? Check out these pics of Lauren Conrad on awards night (and yes, that's Lo smoothing out her dress on the carpet) and let us know whether you think there should be more reality show-related categories in the years to come.

Once upon a time, in a place far, far away, the citizens of Reality TV Land gathered together to discuss a matter of some importance. There were, they decided, certain annoyingly ubiquitous words and phrases whose time had passed. It was best, they decided, for these words to be systematically retired from the English language. And so, they thought and they thought until finally, after some hair-pulling, a bit of childish name-calling and much debate, a comprehensive list (of "Overwhelmingly Overused Reality Phrases") was compiled. The following words, they declared, were never again to be seen, heard, spoken or repeated ad nauseum. Here are their findings:

1) BROMANCE (Alt: BRO-MANCE)
Biggest Offender: Anyone and everyone who has ever described the on-again, off-again relationship between Brody Jenner and his sometimes man-partner, Spencer Pratt. (Note: this may or may not include us).
Use In A Sentence: "Is the bromance really over for Spencer and Brody?"
Why We're Over It: This non-real word should never have broken into the mainstream to begin with. "Bromance," along with similarly irritating faux-words "frenemy" and "thinspirational," should be summarily forgotten, to be referred to only as a cautionary tale or in such sentences as "Hey, remember when people used to say 'Bro-mance?' How lame was that?!"
Acceptable Alternatives: Platonic friendship, same-sex companions, men who occasionally hang out together

2) FIERCE
Biggest Overuser: Christian Siriano, the winner of last season's Project Runway (Runner up: Tyra Banks, host of America's Next Top Model)
Used In A Sentence: "Don't you think my heinous, ostrich-feathered Prada skirt looks totally fierce?"
Why We're Over It: Despite what Christian may want you to believe, not everything is, in fact, "fierce." And it is, in fact, the misapplication of the word that irritates us more than the overusage itself. Um, since when did "fierce" officially become synonymous with "Things That Remind You Of Liberace?" (Answer: Never). Please keep this in mind the next time you're attempting to accurately describe anything of the gratuitously glittered/shiny/unwearable variety.
Acceptable Alternatives: Fashionably ambiguous, flamboyant, brazen

More (thankfully!) retired words, after the jump.

Lauren and Heidi may not be on speaking terms, but with the presidential elections heating up, both girls got the memo that primary colors are officially in. At last night's MTV Movie Awards, the two Hills frenemies rocked the gold carpet in rival red and blue frocks, while Whitney dazzled in scarlet, Stephanie glowed in a form-fitting fuscia print dress, and Audrina showed off her hot new bangs. So who wins the award for Best Dressed? That's up to you guys. Meanwhile, more pics of Hills stars strutting their stuff on the carpet after the jump.

Sassy seamstress Christian Siriano hosted a fashion review from tonight's MTV Movie Awards gold carpet. Among the many boob tube stars he critiqued up close and personally were Audrina Patridge, JabbaWockeeZ, and Tila Tequila. Watch the vids below to see if Christian busted out his usual snark and awe.

Was Audrina's new 'do a hit or miss?

Did Tila get a fair shot?

And after the jump, see if Christian approved of the Jabba's matching tees and plaids...

MTV News reports that P. Runway's Christian Siriano, among other flashy, fierce beings such as Tim Kash and Kim Holtz, will host Sunday night's "Coming Attractions" live preshow from the MTV Movie Awards' golden carpet. When Christian swung by the office a few weeks ago, we asked him just how fiercely he plans to critique the carpet fashions. The bad news? He wants to be "nice and not so judgmental." The good news? "Well, at least to their faces," he added. Watch the video for more good times with Christian!

Have even more Movie Awards fun and help Kim Stolz pick out a party dress that Christian won't skewer.

• In the matter of Audrina versus Lo (and LC), Whitney is making like Switzerland and staying totally neutral. Her assessment? "Living with girls can be really difficult and it’s inevitable that you aren’t always going to get along." (The Celebrity Cafe)

• While Brody Jenner's fear of commitment has plagued his on-again, off-again relationship with LC, it hasn't stopped him from pledging his undying love elsewhere. The womanizer/die-hard basketball fan was recently overheard swooning over his true beloved: the Los Angeles Lakers. (Boston Herald)

• Whoopi Goldberg will be the hostess with the mostess at this year's TONY awards, when she rocks the stage in a fierce, one-of-a-kind original designed by Project Runway winner Christian Siriano. (E! Online)

• Kim Kardashian nearly gives NFL boyfriend Reggie Bush a coronary when she "jokes" that the two are engaged, and expecting their first child. Hilarious! (People)

• And speaking of football, cornerback-turned-reality star Deion Sanders fesses up to having a secret Run's House addiction. (TV Guide)

• Ousted Tila Tequila contestant "Michelle" somehow manages to maintain her dignity. Bravo! (Bostonist)

With most of them working in the fashion industry, The Hills cast is bound to look super swank at Monday night's finale event. Who's individual style is your favorite? Who's in need of a makeover? How would Brody look in Heidiwood? I asked those very questions to Project Runway winner, Christian Siriano, and he had loads to say about each cast member's previous fashion wins and losses. Watch the videos and see if you agree with his controversial commentary.

On Lauren, Audrina, and Whitney:

On Heidi, Brody, and Spencer:

Recently, Project Runway winner Christian Siriano made big news when he let loose a little Hills dis. The sassy seamstress voiced some distaste with Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad's clothing collections, thus causing quite a stir amongst the religious celebrity right. Christian dropped by the office yesterday to meet about hosting MTV.com's Red Carpet Fashion Review at this summer's MTV Movie Awards, and I was able to pull him aside for some pointed questions (specifically, what will he say to LC and Heidi when he sees them there?). Watch the video to hear him elaborate on his prior Hills infraction, and swing back here tomorrow for a our Hills fashion exclusive, in which Christian (aka. Ferocia Coutura) critiques the cast's individual style. Hint: Brody Jenner gets rave reviews.

Heidi Montag wants some ass. No really, according to E! Online, The Hills star is considering butt implants. Watch for yourself in the video below. And stick around 'til the end to hear Christian Siriano's big dis on Heidiwood and The Lauren Conrad Collection.
