Kristin Cavallari may be known for her big mouth but she had nothing but nice things to say about Heidi Pratt's Miss Universe performance. "She looked like she'd put a lot of hard work into it, and it paid off," K-Cav told Usmagazine.com last night. "I was really impressed."
Oh, and FYI, Kristin totes agreed with Stephanie Pratt (and, um, us!) that Heidi's stage moves/nude sparkle suit brought back memories of one Britney Spears. "It reminded me of [Brit] at the VMAs ... when she ripped off her suit," Kristin offered. "She kind of looked like that."
And speaking of dressing to impress, K-Cav wasn't afraid to shake things up in the wardrobe department herself. The Laguna native shined in off-the-shoulder silver Monday night at West Hollywood's Skybar, where she celebrated the launch of Nylon's TV issue and discussed her plans to stir things up on The Hills.
"There's going to be a little feud between Audrina [Patridge] and me over Justin [Bobby], a little love triangle," Kristin teased. "I like to have fun with it and play everything up. I mean, you've got to keep it interesting."
Oh, how we yearn for Sept. 29.

They may SEEM like they're on good terms these days. But according to Kristin Cavallari -- who swung by It's On with Alexa Chung yesterday and chitter-chattered all her Laguna and Hills secrets -- LC's still just that girl who was "trying to steal my boyfriend." (It's. SO. On!)
'Course, K-Cav wasn't just in town to rehash old rivalries. She also had plenty to say about her supposed feud with Audrina Patridge (confirmed!), her maybe-fling with Justin Bobby (deflected!) and her top-secret celebrity crushes (hint: he's "very small")! So watch her giggle, toss her hair and fess up to her favorite tv beyotch in this two-part interview with Alexa. (And no, she didn't say herself.)

Although Audrina was all-but-missing from the latest Hills trailer, she's alive and well, and apparently looking to move past that whole Justin Bobby breakup sitch. And since there aren't too many boys in Hills territory, she might be eying a familiar face to help her through the awkward transition. The only problem? Said face belongs to Brody Jenner, a.k.a. Lauren Conrad's ex.
Peep this special look at Season Five of The Hills, and watch as Brody and Audrina get a little too close for LC's comfort. Then get a sneak peek at Lauren's final season, see more of Heidi and Spencer's latest relationship drama and watch as two feuding friends finally test the waters of reconciliation.

• If Lauren ever decides she's done with The Hills, Heidi and Spencer are ready to take over full headlining responsibilities. (People)

Audrina Patridge denies rumors that she and LC are at war, saying "Whenever our show is not airing, there are always rumors and assumptions made, but when the show starts airing, everyone will get back on track." Okay, then!
Meanwhile, Audrina gave Usmagazine.com an "exclusive" sneak preview of what's in store for Season 4: "Bathing suits, drama, romance and friendships." Wait, so the next season of The Hills will center around skimpy clothes, boys and relationship drama?
Now, who could have seen that coming?

Heidi and Spencer aren't the only Hills regulars planning a trip down the aisle...LC's ex, Jason Wahler, is planning to exchange "I do's" with fiancé Katja Decker Sadowski sometime in the next 12-15 months. Not surprising, considering the two are already (a) engaged, (b) living together, and (c) we totally saw Jason announce the engagement at the awkward/televised housewarming party last season.
But here's something I didn't know: The two almost-newlyweds aren't the only ones in Jason's new(ish) L.A. pad. "We have my assistant/best friend there too," Jason tells Usmagazine.com. "It's kind of awkward, but what the hell!" Awkward? According to Katja, "it's like You, Me and Dupree!"
Hmm, an awkward living situation where two's company and three's a crowd? Looks as though LC and Jason still have a lot in a common after all...

Rumors have been flying all week about escalating tension between rivaling Hills' roomies Audrina Patridge and Lauren Conrad. (And, of course, by "all week" I really mean "ever since the totally-awkward confrontation in the season finale.")
So what's really going down? Audrina opens up to OK! magazine about the trouble with meeting guys ("It's really hard to find someone you can trust") the real reason she's never, ever in the house with LC and Lo ("If I'm in my pajamas and it's cold outside, I don't want to run across the yard") and, naturally, about the blowup that reportedly took place when Lauren found out about the OK! photoshoot. It's no secret that we here at Remote Control love Stephanie "Sister of Spencer" Pratt. Not only was she a doll at the Hills finale, but she's proven herself to be a class-act, refusing to dis Spencer (despite the fact that they're still not on speaking terms!) or get caught up in all the recent Lo-bashing.
In fact, when asked to weigh in on the Lauren vs. Audrina drama, Stephanie totally downplayed it -- saying "the Internet is exaggerating [the feud]" -- and had only nice things to say about all parties involved.

OMG, did you hear there's going to be a new Hills spinoff? And you'll never guess who's supposedly starring in it... Whitney Port (a.k.a. the very same girl who just finished telling Social Life magazine how much she loves keeping her private life private). OK, sure, the whole thing sounds kinda farfetched, but it's all over the internet so it must be true... right?
Sigh. Come on people, if you're going to invent a spinoff rumor, at least show a little creativity! How about a music documentary about Justin Bobby starting his own hair band? Or maybe a new super-cheesy dating show hosted by Brody Jenner? Or, my personal fave, an upcoming Animal Planet spinoff series starring LC's new pup? (Tentative title: "The Hills Presents: Life With Chloe, The Puppy Perspective on the Lo/Audrina Feud.")
But seriously, if there ever were a Hills spinoff, who do you think should star in it? Speidi? Audrina? Brent Bolthouse?? Tell us which character you think deserves their own star-launching vehicle.

Last night, Maxim threw its annual Hot 100 party at Paramount Studios in honor of the lovely ladies gracing the pages of the current sizzling-hot issue. And with Hills hotties Audrina, Lauren and Heidi all making the cut, I couldn't help but wonder what the night had in store for everyone's favorite frenemies.
Unfortunately, all was quiet on the Western (Hollywood) front. The evening passed quietly, with no fireworks, reconciliations or awkward interactions whatsoever. Then again, that probably had a lot to do with the fact that Heidi (and her joined-at-the-hip boyfriend, Spencer) skipped out on last night's festivities entirely, and Lauren spent the evening hanging with her new favorite roomie instead.
Check out these additional pics of Audrina and Lauren at the big event, and tell us what you think: Will Audrina and LC find a way to patch things up before their feud reaches, well, Lauren-and-Heidi proportions? Or will relative newcomers Justin-Bobby and Lo continue to drive a big, fat wedge between the two (former) best friends?
