Nurses are many things: hard-working, focused, compassionate. What they’re NOT: naughty women who wear all white and spend their entire day cleaning up poop. “Scrubbing In” promises plenty of medical and dating drama when it premieres on Thursday, October 24 at 10/9c, but it will also kill every RN stereotype in the book. Are nurses merely doctors’ assistants? Glorified orderlies? How about…”C,” none of the above.
In the video below, the “Scrubbing In” cast weighs in on the many misconceptions that seem to follow them from state to state. While they’re all firm on the fact that hospital life is nothing like “Grey’s Anatomy,” and that nursing isn’t exclusively an all-female profession, they give a little more leeway to the idea that inter-ER romance can happen. “I’m dating a doctor,” Crystal admits, while Heather, frankly, doesn’t see what the problem is. “Don’t people in offices sleep with one another?” she asks. “I mean, what’s the big deal?”
Check out the video, and tune in to the series premiere Thursday night!
