OK, we’ll admit it: Things aren’t really looking good for Simon Cooper. After getting drunk on cheap booze and puking on his longtime crush, Carly D’Amato, any shot with her seems, well, shot. Ordinarily, we’d say he’s dead in the water, but when we consider the hopeless romantic’s history with the object of his spray-painted affection, the “Inbetweener” might just be able to pull this one off.
Simon and Carly have been friends since they were 8, and while their respective posses don’t quite see eye-to-eye, it’s clear that Carly has a soft spot for her old pal. She even went as far as to defend him from her judgmental clique after he embarrassingly professed his love via blacktop. Furthermore, she did invite him over, and had he kept his cool (and had Will not brought up the idea of a zombie apocalypse to Carly’s younger brother), we might just have seen some definite progress being made.
