Flowers! Teddy bears! Chocolate-covered pineapple on sticks! There are so many ways to say I love you--heck, even a cat meme on Facebook does the trick--which is exactly why Simon Cooper from "The Inbetweeneers"' method is, well, maybe not the first one we'd pass along as how-to-nab-a-date advice.
In this sneak peek of the premiere episode, the head-over-heels high-schooler professes his lurrrve for life-long crush Carly using the most permanent thing one can get outside of tattoo ink: spray paint. But when the object of his water-resistant affections and her "Pretty Little Liars"-esque posse catch him in the act of defacing her driveway, Carly confronts Simon in a way that would befit our "Awkward" Hall of Shame: by asking him, straight up, if he's in love with her.
Terrifying, right? Well, with Simon shaking in his sneakers, what she says to him next is something none of his (or her!) totally floored pals would have ever expected. Watch the clip:
We thought we'd seen our fair share of uncomfy situations, but this crew of crazy, daytime-drinking gents might shock us with much worse. Words can barely explain how stoked we are for the show to get on the road, so while we wallow in our own impatience, take a look at the trailer for more first glances of the goofiness, and don't forget to tune in for the premiere of "The Inbetweeners" on Monday, August 20 at 10:30/9:30c!
