It didn’t take a meteorologist to predict that a girls weekend between Farrah, her sister and her mother would amount to a storm. The most recent ”Teen Mom” episode saw some of the most gruesome fighting the family had ever produced, and by the episode’s end–if we could borrow Debra’s words for a moment–no one was left standing.
After the dust had settled, we asked viewers whose side they were on: Farrah’s or Debra’s. According to the poll, most thought Farrah was in the wrong and had overreacted after catching her mom slacking on her duties as babysitter, but some comments spoke in Farrah’s defense. Here’s what fans had to say on Remote Control and Facebook about the constant battle between Farrah and her mother:
“Farrah may have been tough on her mom, but remember that there is a lot of pent up aggression. Remember that Farrah’s mom wanted her to leave Sophia with her! That is just ridiculous and gets me so mad when I think about it. Like everyone else in this world, she has some growing up to do and lessons to learn.” — Jessica
“Farrah is so disrespectful to her parents. They are only trying to help. I agree that sometimes they overdo it, but they love her and Sophia. I can’t wait until Sophia grows up and acts just like Farrah because that is the only way she will understand what she does to her parents.” — Cherry B.
“While I do think that Farrah overreacts and gets too angry too quickly sometimes, there is obviously a reason that both Farrah and her sister do not have a good relationship with her.” — Stephanie T.
“Episode after episode I am left wondering why would someone treat a parent like this. Does Farrah not realize her attitude and grudges will get her nowhere?” — Ke’Una G.
