With all the gossip that's been shared at Jenna Hamilton's expense since she was mistakenly believed to have attempted suicide, the Palos Hills High School student has become a pro at letting nastiness roll off her back. Typically, though, it's not coming from her boyfriend, Jake, and when the guy calls her a "bitch" without even realizing she's the subject of conversation, it is nothing short of "Awkward."
Jenna joins in on Matty and Jake's chat at lunch in this sneak peek of Thursday's all-new episode, and Matty has been talking to his best bud about an anonymous girl that broke his heart. Jenna thinks she's off the hook at first when the stories seem too recent to be about her, but realizes once the subject of summer pops up that her ears should have been burning all along. "She's a bitch!" Jake says. "I didn't say she was a bitch," Matty fires back. And when Jenna senses one wrong word could out her previous relationship with Matty (which is STILL a secret from Jake) she can only think to agree. "She's a bitch!" Jenna agrees. Not quite the self-esteem we should be aiming for, eh Val?
