Picking new boo Jake over former fling Matty was only the first of many difficult decisions Jenna Hamilton's already had to make this season of "Awkward." Just when she and Jake began to get into the groove of their relationship during tonight's episode, Matty turned into a stalker, even showing up on a hot tub date! His intent was unclear--Jenna couldn't decide whether he was lonely and looking for company or trying to break them up--so she did the adult thing and confronted her old flame. Not that it got her very far.
Matty played innocent, claiming he wasn't trying to lure her away from Jake (and also calling her the C-word: clingy!). She chose to believe him, yet seconds later we found out the truth when the campus BIC (Bully In Charge), Sadie Saxton, received a non-verbal affirmation from Matty that he was trying to sabotage his best friend's new romance. Jenna's hunch was right!
