A good job will push you to do things outside of your comfort zone (like the time this happened), but when Molly Tarlov of "Awkward" sat down for a table read last season and saw that her onscreen character, Sadie Saxton, had to deliver the most effed up line pretty much EVER, well, she wished she had called in sick.
The well-rounded actress manages to do a stellar job playing the role of Palos Hills High's social bulldozer, but, as was incredibly apparent in a previous interview clip we posted on Remote Control, Tarlov is nothing like Sadie in real life (she's actually on Jenna Hamilton's side!). Which is why starring in some of her character's cruel-to-be-kind scenes haunts her to this day.
In the below clip from our recent sit-down with Molly, she describes a particularly tough moment from Episode 3 when Sadie is at a party and spots her and Jenna's crush, Matty, hooking up with someone else in a jacuzzi. To mask her vulnerability, Sadie quickly snaps into mean mode and tells Jenna to go home and play the "blood violin." And we thought cropping photos was a drag.
