With an Italian fusion restaurant in the works and a Mom & Me-branded sauce about to hit grocery store shelves, it's undeniable that Farrah Abraham of "Teen Mom" has made the most out of her culinary school education. There was once a time when the young mother struggled to get her high-school diploma, so these well-deserved career accomplishments are especially impressive. No one would have blinked if Farrah had abandoned her studies as soon as she became pregnant with Sophia, but instead, she pushed through her daily hardships to attain her personal goals, as well as a brighter future for her daughter.
In the below clip from our latest school-themed "Teen Mom After Show," Farrah shares what it meant to her to graduate and obtain a dual degree. "I overcame the stresses of going through Derek's loss and becoming a teen mom, and just fights with my parents," she tells her fellow cast members. "So to me it meant I could achieve something when people acted like I wasn't spending enough time on schoolwork, or I was so depressed. It just felt good." And it should.
Farrah's dedication is beginning to pay off with a budding entrepreneurial career, and she knows none of it would have come to fruition without staying in school. Check out the video to hear more about her latest endeavors, as well as her hopes for Sophia's education:
