When someone (or something...) is in search of a friend, it's hard not to sympathize--even when that something is a creature that's hardwired to kill. Initially, Scott, Allison and Stiles were under the impression the Kanima was as unruly as it had been because it was in search of a companion, but on tonight's "Teen Wolf," we discovered Jackson's alter-ego is looking for a "master." Or worse: It's already being controlled by one.
After Stiles and Scott successfully detained Jackson in the back of a police van, Allison set out to get to the bottom of the Kanima's curse and figure out how she could stop it without harming its human counterpart. Few ever accuse Jackson of being a nice guy, but he had no idea the extent to which the Kanima could destroy, and the trio didn't think he deserved a death sentence for crimes that were committed beyond his control. Finally, Lydia, who'd been under Allison's nose the whole time, translated an ancient Latin passage that described the Kanima explicitly, and Allison figured out that the Kanima was nothing more than a pawn in someone--or something--else's agenda.
