If anyone knows the sting that reading hurtful words creates, it's our increasingly confident anti-heroine, Jenna Hamilton. She spent the better part of her sophomore year trying to track down the author of the crushing "Carefrontation" letter, and when she finally identified its origin during the season finale of "Awkward," she couldn't believe who was responsible. Her own flesh and blood, Lacey Hamilton.
Unsure of how to broach the delicate subject, Jenna avoided her mom as best she could throughout tonight's Season 2 premiere, but when the new year rolled around, she regained her poise and decided to stop hiding. Jenna took one final look at the letter and knew it was time to be brave. Except, instead of walking downstairs to chat with Lacey, she wrote her mom a cryptic note of her own. It read: "This Is Who You Are." Yikes.
+ Do you like the way Jenna handled the Carefrontation debacle, or should she have been more upfront and spoken with her mom face-to-face? Take the poll, then sound off in the comments about how you think Lacey will respond!
