What kind of bloggers would we be if we heedlessly threw you into Season 2 of "Awkward" without first providing a proper refresher course? (Answer: rude!) Even the biggest Jenna Hamilton fans may have forgotten a few minor details here and there, so to help you out, we've broken down the main players in J's life and even included video replays. Let's get started:
Matty McKibben
Our anti-heroine always had a thing for the armpit-sniffing legend, and when she lost her V-card to him at summer camp, her feelings only intensified. After a number of hush-hush hookups, the socially-challenged superstar mustered up the courage to ask Matty to DTR, but dude was just not ready for a girlfriend (ouch). He eventually came around, but by then, his buddy had stepped in and stolen his thunder.

Lacey Hamilton
Hot Mama Hamilton's always interested in filling up her social calendar with the town's chicest events (remember her stint with the Knick-Knackers?). Jenna typically bit her tongue and ignored her mom's sometimes over-the-top efforts to stay hip and fit in with her peers, but during the very last episode of the season, we got the sense that their close mother-daughter relationship would never be the same. Jenna discovered decorative stationery in her mom's junk drawer that matched that of the "Carefrontation" letter!

Tamara
Jenna's censor-less BFF is usually preoccupied with improving her social status and uploading Facebook profile pics, but the fast-talking Palos Hills High student always has her gal pal's back. Well, except for that one time when Jenna mistakenly made an unforgivable party foul and smooched Tamara's crush, Ricky Schwartz. That was a tough one for T to get over.
Jake Rosati
The popular stud began the season as Lissa's man, but it didn't take long before his lips--and heart--found their way over to Jenna Hamilton's. J-Town told him to back off and that their kiss was a complete mistake, but once she gave up on Matty and agreed to go to the winter formal with Jake, being "just friends" no longer seemed to cut it. He still has no clue about Jenna's past with Matty, but it's only a matter of time...

Ming
We have the girl with uber-strict parents and a fun variety of decorative hats to thank for bringing her once-feuding friends, Jenna and Tamara, back together. Tamara tortured Jenna with a bout of silence following the Ricky Schwartz incident (see above), but Ming forced the two gals to reunite under the school bleachers. We hope her folks let her out of the house more during Season 2.
