Now that Amber is in rehab, she's working hard to improve her circumstances and get a handle on her anger issues, so during tonight's episode of "Teen Mom," her caseworker, JJ, wanted to mentally prepare her for Gary's upcoming visit. After all, Gary's mere presence has been known to trigger Amber's anxiety to a breaking point.
During her discussion with JJ, Amber admitted that her relationship with Gary is flawed--he's upset her in ways no one else ever has. On top of that, when she called her brother to ask for advice on the possibility of her reuniting with Gary, he couldn't hold his tongue. "You and Gary together are a toxic relationship, you should not be together," Shawn said. When Amber defended her connection with her ex and said things would be healthier this time because they were getting professional help, Shawn pushed back with an interesting question: "He has to have control over your life, have you not noticed that?"
