Sometimes, common interests bring two people together. Other times, being stranded in a pool after hours while a bloodthirsty creature looms will do the trick. Derek and Stiles might not see eye to eye, but when their backs are against the wall, you might as well call them the "Teen Wolf" odd couple, Dylan O'Brien and Tyler Hoechlin say.
The two actors talk about their characters' unlikely alliance in the Episode 4 post-show interview below, and while Stiles and Derek are not typically each other's biggest fans, they understand putting their differences aside is crucial when a new beast has Beacon Hills in a panic. And though it might be a slow journey, they're getting there, O'Brien says. "Over the course of Season 1, they've grown to care about each other," he points out, while Crystal Reed calls the duo's back-and-forth relationship "utterly amusing."
