Former 'Hills' villain Spencer Pratt shows off his precious gems.
Leave it to Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron to be one of the three financial backers behind the newest wave of space exploration: asteroid mining. Yes, the time has come when your next job could be that of digging for water and other precious materials on asteroids. Apparently the concept, which was announced earlier this week, didn't sit well with committed gem collector Spencer Pratt, as he tweeted concerns about the removal of space crystals. (And here we thought he'd given up on the hobby entirely.)
His wife, who we presume wasn't nearly as bothered by the intergalactic enterprise, spent more time this week taking jabs at herself online, as evidenced by a message she wrote about her multiple weddings. Montag said that she couldn't keep track of her anniversaries (plural) cuz she and Spencer have married so many times (nice to see her finally cyber-laughing about it). Her former "Hills" costar and now part-time Chicagoan, Kristin Cavallari, also didn't seem too concerned about mining--she was busy with her own career prospects, which include an upcoming TV appearance. Can't wait to see which one it is!
