Strong bonds are often formed between people who can dish it out and also take it--unless, of course, one person's idea of humor is extremely hurtful to the other. During tonight's episode of "Exes," Emily hit the proverbial wall after watching her teammate Ty and her now-enemy Paula make baby noises and kissy faces at each other without pause. Whether driven by latent jealousy (don't forget that Ty used to give Em all of his attention) or a hope to create some comedic relief, Emily crossed the line when she lathered her face in chocolate in an attempt to impersonate her partner. She wasn't alone in her performance piece--Camila joined in--but Em mainly took the fall.
As Mark pointed out, Emily was raised in a very secluded household, and therefore, wasn't aware of the racist implications of her behavior. Do you think she should get a pass, or were her actions absolutely inexcusable? Take the poll, then check out a clip from this week's "Ex-ual Tension," where CT says that Ty blew the whole thing out of proportion; Emily wasn't trying to attack him and was actually completely oblivious to its offensiveness.
