Pauly and his old friends/new castmates strike a 'Usual Suspects' pose during their MTV photo shoot.
Before Pauly D showed up to Seaside Heights for his first day of filming "Jersey Shore," he was a sweet, humble, hometown guy who always put his family and friends first. Five seasons later, Pauly D is a sweet, humble hometown guy who always puts his family and friends first. Sure, now his kicks cost upwards of $500 and his bling receipts say Harry Winston, but other than that, you’d never hear his longtime buddies hitting him with the phrase, "You've changed, bro." And isn’t that why people love him so much? It is for us.
As you’re well aware by now, "The Pauly D Project," MTV's effort to show more of the reality star's dimensions and daily life, premieres March 29. That's only a few weeks away, but we understand it might seem like an eternity to Pauly's millions of fans. As always, that's where we come in.
Below is your first look at what you can expect from "The Project." In it, you'll find all the evidence you need to prove that Pauly's just a regular, spiky-haired goofball from Rhode Island that caught a lucky break and quickly rose to the top of the DJ game. You'll meet his down-to-earth dad, whom he currently still lives with, as well as his loyal--and crazy funny--entourage, right before they embark on an extended trip to The Palms Las Vegas, where Pauly's been asked to take up residency. And, yes, the new bossman 50 Cent's in there as well (plus a husky, nekkid male riding around in a wheelchair, if you like that sort of thing). Take a peek, and thank us later.
