During Part I of the "Teen Mom 2 Finale Special," we were curious to find out where Jenelle and her mom stood. The last time we saw them together on a reunion special, things got ugly and Barbara was quoted as saying that her daughter was unlovable. This time, however, things between them were very different--positive, even--and following the show Remote Control readers and Facebook fans jumped online to share their thoughts. Here's a sample of what everyone said:
Remote Control:
"I have to say that Jenelle is taking steps at getting her life back together. Rehabilitation is a slow process. She isn't going to be happy overnight." -- Adora
"I wasn't a teen mom, but I would say their relationship has improved a lot, but they still have a long way to go. This is a HUGE leap in their relationship. I had a feeling that Jenelle had bipolar by the way she acted (knowing what to look for because I have a family member who has bipolar issues)." -- Carolynn
"I was a teen mom myself, and if and when my mom did help me, I sure didn't treat her like **** afterward. If it wasn't for my mother, my son wouldst have had the life he did. Being young isn't an excuse for being a crappy mom. I was young and wanted to party, but I knew what was more important.
